  2.  @deefsound  Only in the sense that he knows just what a certain number of people want to hear to make him "popular" ie to benefit him in one way or another. As far as I know, he has never tried to rid the world of Jews, even if that would make him very popular in some circles. Maggie was also good at saying what she knew enough people wanted to hear to get into power.

  22. My father was in the middle east in WW2 and his lot got shot at by the 4x2s as often as by the lot he was protecting them from. It wasn't even their country then but when they got given it to keep them quiet they started to behave appallingly to the original residents. That is one of the many reasons they are hated today as they always have been.

  26.  @dealwithit207  You may not realise it, but the pressure to lead a "normal" life a few generations ago lead to a lot of marriages that really should not have happened and probably would not have these days. Just think of the number of judges, priests etc that get into dodgy situations!

Have you ever seen those videos from idiots who claim to be "auditing" the police but are just out to wind them up and appeal to others with equal chips on their shoulders? Some even seem to be making money from it which could put them on very dodgy ground.
