But it will be going on people who have just got off a dinghy and have paid little or nothing in.

@g___________v6850 How weird.
2
***** Why did the poster bunny attack your comment, can't see what upset him? lol
1
Maybe but they only get ONE chance then they will be relegated to Labours current position if they betray the people.
1
Rick Reich No the way I saw it was that she wanted to say something and he let her speak unlike that journalist. If you started getting personally attacked for what you thought was a good cause how would you react?
1
***** Where do you suggest he lives then? if he asked for a council house he would be a hypocrite too? How about if he rented a two up two down or bought an estate in his neighborhood? Would he not be taking those valuable homes out of circulation too? Aren't we the people hypocrites for buying tv licenses or watching ads, films, music, football that makes these celebrities mega rich? Come on, you should know better if you think that journalist was there to represent the people in need.
1
Because he is a yes man and you probably aren't?
1
What I'm saying is that IF Labour had looked after working people then we wouldnt have had a Tory government allowed to run riot and make all of these cuts. The Tories keep getting back in because of Labours failures so thats why I am blaming them.
1
Why?
1
The reason we have problems like this is due to the behavior of the media like the reporter here who was no doubt given a script in order to make this obscene situation look acceptable. Instead of actually doing their job and reporting the issue, getting a balanced viewpoint from the people affected we get a fake journalist trying to sidestep the issue and attack someone on a personal level for standing up against the establishment. We need more people that have a license to speak over the airwaves to stand up for ordinary people and I don't care how big their mansion or bank account is, in fact I think it speaks volumes the more wealth they actually have.
1
Is it any wonder that so many youngsters and previous Labour voters wanted to vote Labour with all those wonderful pledges on offer? Even I was tempted back but I don't trust them on immigration. The Tories are now going to have to spend on infrastructure if they want to survive, its their fault for continuing with austerity and QE for so long.
1
@desoliver9712 Like I said and you don't disagree, the current lot have policies but don't enact them so whats your point? This is why we've had enough and are voting TBP from now on. By the way which policies do the Change UK party have?
1
Sorry I can't tolerate anything Khan says. Might as well be listening to a droid.
1
@seeker5738 Because I have friends that found it funny and took no offense. I'd rather have someone that gets things off their chest instead of pandering around trying not to offend like May who is useless. Some people have colourful language, it makes the world a more interesting place, too many people are snowflakes nowadays.
1
Someone who doesnt want to live in a slum like me.
1
Grow up you sound ridiculous.
1
You wont have friggin healthcare once Liebour open the borders up even more, you also wont have a pension or welfare and forget about affordable rents or mortgages, it will all be going to newcomers and once they form a majority in most cities you will be adhering to their culture and religion or else. Dont complain either once your taxes rise to pay for it all and inflation goes up way beyong reason. Labour are a joke.

"The current model is no longer fit for purpose" True, it also applies to the political establishment in the UK, they have wrecked the country.
1
I'll have to sit down for a moment, can't believe I'm seeing this on Channel 4.
1
Why?
1
Pro hard brexit? Yeh right.
1
Well we voted to never have to accept the SCH3NG3N scheme which means having to open your borders to anyone, no questions asked, what Farage predicted is 100% correct in that poster and this is what STARMER is calling a solution. Vote LIBLABCON and you will soon be on the streets owning NOTHING, be warned.
1
If they don't want to fit in then why come here?
1
@MajesticSwan690 Thats exactly what Reform voters want, we want a party that actually WANTS to be Tory. We thought we were going to get that with this government but instead got a pretend Tory party.
1
@CoronaVirus4life How is removing a plastic Tory party a wasted vote?
1
Mainly renowned MPs.
1
I think we need to stop foreign aid for a few years.
1
They arent real conservative voters though and this government arent conservative at all.
1
If companies are struggling to employ then either up the wages and attract other nationalities or shut up shop. Why should the taxpayer have to pay an EU membership, Tax credits, housing benefits and general taxes towards infrastructure and public services to appease these low wage paying employers and provide them with an endless supply of taxpayer subsidised EU cheap labour? What's in it for us?
1
@DaDunge You probably haven't normally got a good word to say about Trump. Farage is a hero, best thing to happen in UK politics in a generation, worth his weight in gold.
1
Celebrate what, the turnout was trash. Labour can hope for a hung parliament at best, both parties are going to cripple the economy and make us dirt poor as they work for the WEF.
1
They are easily pleased.
1
15 years? Who gives a damn? What about the benefits of leaving, free trade deals need to be factored in and skilled migrants contributing more taxes instead of taking.
1
Yet you are voting for Starmer? Says it all.
1
Boris needs to whatever is necessary to uphold the referendum. The EU have been offered an amazing opportunity and are playing games. Their loss as we are leaving come what may.
1
Yes remember it well, they were terrible.
1
@Nicov. British champagne rather good this year.
1
But Labour are the reason they have been in for 14 years and the 10 years of austerity to pay for the mess Labour left.
1
And replace them with Labour? You must be a fool to believe anything will improve under Labour, honestly you need a wake up call, all 3 parties are operating together and are as bad as each other. Your ignorance of politics is what is destroying the UK.
1
Long overdue, these two parties have had a very, very long run, to the point that they think they have a divine right to rule over us, they've had so much power that they have been handing it out like candy to unelected organisations. You normally expect a Tory party to be the more sensible party out of the two but this last 14 years has been a complete failure. They only had to deliver Brexit, cut immigration and build housing but are refusing to deliver so are now finished.
1
No we won't listen to you and the EU have far too much control over us. We can't even control our borders.
1
I blame the Benny Hill Act.
1
Not a chance as the EU won't allow it once Starmer takes us back in.
1
What a lot of w0ke tosh.
1
If we end up with a Labour Govt for the next few decades then the Tories have themselves to blame. At least Mogg has tried to do something about it.
1
I don't see what the issue is. We want to trade and so do they, let's get on with it. The issue is that this is a protection racket and political union that we dared vote to leave.
1
Why didnt they all vote Lib Dem or change then?
1
@Here4Years There is no hard brexit, there is only brexit. If your cable company said to you we cant offer you a better deal, only new customers what would you do? Stay with them and put up and shut up or leave and then sign back up as a new customer? Honesty please.
1
First generation immigrants want it reduced too. Its gone too far and is unsustainable. Whats in it for you when we already have millions here? We want to get only the best immigrants, ones that are highly skilled and high earners not benefits dependants. Also I'd like to see the benefits system dismantled so that it only pays in accordance with contributions.
