Try not to vacillate between the extremes, he made it quite clear that he wasnt arguing against talking. he was speaking to the tendency of some people (primarily women in this instance) to over-talk, over-share, over-analyze, and over-catastrophize things that were not a fatal flaw prior to the over-talking etc. if you need a blanket, ask for one. if you NEED to know what he or she is thinking during every quiet moment, share that with your dog/cat your or mom!
