Always interesting. ๐๐
2
Another fascinating look at the use of RF.

Good video as always. Looks quite a tidy radio. However, itโs a bit pricey for my needs. I tend to pick up Yaesu โlast modelโ radios for installation in cars.
2
So much around us which we pass by without noticing.
2
Always affordable for those on a tight budget, but I do like a signal meter rather than the mobile phone type bar graph these tend to have.
2
Great story, thanks for sharing. ๐
2
Donโt remember these, to be honest. Nice overview, though.
2
Most interesting! ๐๐

Nice to see the kindness of individuals. I remember going into the Piccadilly Radio Offices, late 70s, and getting some window stickers. Oh, and yes, we are planning on another Radio Fox Hunt this year. ๐๐

Iโll be looking out even more closely now. There are probably still many of these out there, along with Squariels.

Very interesting video. ๐

Interesting point, though the 7300 does come with 4m here. I canโt help but think they have missed out on a lot of custom by dropping 4m. I do know of hams that cancelled their order after it was announced. Stay safe. ๐

Very interesting.
1
A very good insight. I hadnโt heard of this before.

Rabbit was probably the most wide known on the phone point systems. I get my handset, but was relatively quickly asked to send it back, with an Orange Analogue handset being sent in return. I probably still have it somewhere. Not sure why they wanted the handset back, or what they did with them.

Very interesting. ๐
1
More interesting local information as always. ๐
1
Nice review. The same chassis is often sold under various names, a common practice which has taken place for many, many years.
1
Raises the eyebrows as to what people will accept as a disguise! Advice from Blue Peter perhaps!?
1
Nice sunset and sky pics. 5 sites?
1
Another one Iโve never heard of, or donโt recall. ๐๐
1
I need to get out with the drone and give it a proper flight!
1
Another interesting video. It would be nice to just plonk yourself down at such a location and stare at the night sky.
1
Nice sounding audio and some good distances. Matchmoor Lane seems a good location.
1
Another one Iโve not heard about! ๐๐
1
Interesting as always. ๐

Another great episode.
1
Good information as always. Iโve never been to Wernerโs Low, we must arrange a /P day from there when the good weather comes.

7th!! ๐ค Interesting as ever. ๐

I only know Stockport from what I can see from the motorway.
1
I use an AmPro 4m when out in the car, but only parked up though, on a 3 mag mag mount.
1
A better price that the previous model demonstrated, and appears to have more features.
1
Interesting story.
1
A very interesting series, thanks for putting it together.
1
Interesting. Is it just stored, or regularly used!? ๐ค
1
Interesting, but expensive. I could imagine people buying it for the shelf, but not at ยฃ100
1
Another great video looking at the history and developments in the use of radio.

I didnโt realise there were so many clones. Inevitable I suppose. I donโt expect performance to be anywhere near, but canโt beat them for entry level radios.
1
Looks a really good day out.
1
Good information as always! ๐๐
1
Interesting as always. As technology changes, many such sites have/will be lost.
1
Certainly a lot of radio for the money, but a lot of false claims out there. Itโs often a good idea to check the manufacturerโs website to see the specification before committing. Unsurprisingly, Baofeng donโt mention a 15W or 18W version of this radio.
1
Interesting variation. Donโt look quite as good in yellow though.
1
Fascinating story. ๐
