Did you actually watch the video?
3
@hobbso8508 how so?
3
@hobbso8508 socialism has two core tenets, individuals need to give up their rights for the benefit of the collective (or as Marx said it “from each according to their ability, to each according to their need”), and the free market is terrible (without computing that a centrally controlled economy is the only alternative). If you disagree then show me how socialism doesn’t follow those two core tenets.
3
@hobbso8508 if you disagree, show me how socialism doesn’t follow those core tenets.
3
So you didn’t watch the video?
3
@theWASPdefender I wouldn’t call them fascists…
3
@vancecookcobain so watch the 20 minute one?
3
Well how were they not socialist then?
3
Did you watch the video?
3
“Large industrialists backing the nazis.” Was this before or after it looked like they were going to win?
3
@paulsame1124 20:00 covers this exact topic. Did you actually watch the video?
3
@paulsame1124 how is it distorting the facts? Prior to coming to power the nazis were only supported by two industrialists, with the vast majority of their industrialist support coming when it already looked like they were winning.
3
@hobbso8508 actually socialism is perfectly fine with extermination races, you just need to majority to vote on it.
3
That doesn’t explain why Hitler raved against liberalism.
3
Socialists kill socialists all the time, nothing new.
3
Yeah, e believed the communism was corrupted by the Jews and that he was recovering the true primitive communism.
3
@hellothere2965 so far no arguments.
3
@hellothere2965 well, both.
3
@hellothere2965 and capitalists don’t believe feudalism is evil, they just want to destroy it and replace it with a better system. Yes, I would like to see more examples where you misunderstand TIK.
3
@owgdj the problem with that is the Nazis created one of the biggest unions ever, the DAF, with over 32 million members.
3
How so.
3
What do you think of their economic policy of synchronization?
3
@galaxy9radio664 uh, you do know that those institutions were being shut down before the government did anything. The government has an odd ability to join social movements that are already accomplishing their goals, make a few laws, and then take credit for everything. Like did labor unions not increase the wages of the workers?
3
@galaxy9radio664 the problem is it doesn’t, the government is incapable of knowing the will of the people.
3
What’s is the bullshit?
3
My boy, he does understand, he is just capable of understanding that it is gibberish.
3
@gladys2563 uh, did you watch the same videos I did? There are numerous sections that cover the economic situation of Nazi Germany.
3
Where does he claim that capitalists tend to conquer other nations? Are you sure that he wasn’t just trying to explain Marxist thought?
3
They were not Marxists, they where socialists.
3
@chrisschultz8598 so exactly like all other socialists?
3
Isn’t that exactly what the Soviet Union did?
3
How so?
3
Then what is he supposed to say?
3
@becklindholm8401 the video did in fact make that distinction, if you only watched it.
3
@Rundstedt1 good analysis? My dear sir, you ignored all the good analysis.
3
@dwizzi1724 your using the Marxist definition of socialism, the one that won out in the end. TIK righty states that socialism used to be much more diverse and that Fascism and Nazism were both subcategories of it. Additionally how does a whole control something? Who is defining what the whole is?
3
@xtoll123 na, I could do that better.
3
When have socialists ever not hated other socialists.
3
20:00
3
Try again?
3
@MadeleineTakam_Info_on_Profile if people don’t value it, then why are we forcing them to pay for it? If you see that it’s an issue then you should raise awareness and get other people to value it.
3
@fiachramaccana280 I believe you didn’t watch them, because everything you said so fair has been addressed in the video. Like really, all you political scientists say Nazism is a nonsensical ideology, whose actions contradicted their own beliefs. But this just tells me that you don’t understand what the Nazis actually believed. And dude, am I libertarian, I hate socialism and I realized that everything evil about Nazism it took from socialism. “Oh, we should exterminate the parasitic segment of the population who doesn’t work.” “Oh, those parasites are colluding with each other to keep us down.” “Oh, other forms of socialism are actually inventions by the parasites to keep us down.”
3
@fiachramaccana280 wow, you’re straight up making up shit, and I’m supposed to believe you actually watched the video? How has any of this have anything to do with what giovanni gentile wrote about? or what fascists in Italy believed? These arguments have no basis in reality, no evidence behind them, and so can be dismissed without evidence.
3
@Schnoz42069 yeah, state capitalism… “State capitalism is an economic system in which the state undertakes business and commercial (i.e., for-profit) economic activity and where the means of production are nationalized as state-owned enterprises (including the processes of capital accumulation, centralized management and wage labor). The definition can also include the state dominance of corporatized government agencies (agencies organized using business-management practices) or of public companies (such as publicly listed corporations) in which the state has controlling shares.” Thanks for proving my point.
3
@Schnoz42069 yeah, they weren’t communists, they were socialists, they socialized the means of production. All profits were socialized. What does socialized mean? For the Nazis it meant controlled by the national community, aka the state.
3
@teresacastro1263 yeah? The left/right dichotomy is completely useless for describing reality.
3
@Schnoz42069 is there any actual difference? By that definition the Soviet Union was privately owned.
3
Need I reminded you that the NSDAP was a organization with a strict hierarchy? To be in the upper echelons your had to be completely loyal to the Nazi party and fervently believe in its ideals.
3
What are you talking about?
3
@BurtReynolds-qp1jk It’s actually responsibly possible to achieve, just reduce the current government to its most basic functions, after that it should be possible to make taxation voluntary, because they would be low enough for the average person to feel comfortable paying. Like if everyone paid 500 dollars a year the government would have a budget of 165,950,000,000. That should be more then enough to defend the homeland and fund the legal system. After that organizations that do what the current government provides would pop up and offer higher quality services at lower costs. Because these organizations have to compete with the current government they automatically gain a lot of legitimacy, they can’t brake the laws of the original government without becoming big enough, and they can only become big enough if the people think they are a suitable replacement.
