  7.  @hans-joachimbierwirth4727  In my opinion if a nation has 3 of the fallowing I would consider them socialist. 1. ⁠They call themselves socialist. 2. ⁠They removed the government protections for private property. 3. ⁠They have a centrally planed economy. 4. ⁠Their core ideology is descended from socialism. TIK is wrong, but he is on the right track. Socialists are kind of backwards, they want to remove all the limits on the government that we made to protect us from abuse, basically returning us the the rule of absolute monarchs.

If you can’t then my labels work and if you do then that helps me make my labels less arbitrary. Everything else you said is verifiably false, I mean you know about the weimar constitution right? Hitler had to suspend parts of it to seize property like he did, so what are you telling me that Germany had no limits on its government.

I don’t care if they were lying about their name or not, only that they did it. I would do the same with North Korea, do they have a constitution? Are there multiple political parties? Do they call themselves democratic? Do they have free elections? No. No. Yes. No. Congrats, not a democracy.

  29. for a few months after the night of the long knives the majority of all new members of the Nazi party were previously marxists, so it arguable that the party became even more marxist then before the purge. Additionally the whole point of socialism is tearing down a previous society and rebuilding it, both culturally and economically.

The trick the Nazis used was they forced everyone to believe in the Nazi case, then once you believed in the Nazi cause you would do what they wanted without them forcing you to.
