The council of Nicea and Constantinople was immediately attacked for polytheism. These were not Muslims. Don’t pretend this is a Muslim argument. It’s a valid logical argument and objection against your trinity. You get emotional because there is no coherent answer for the logical problem of the trinity.

That’s why Christians are still writing hundreds of books to try to respond to this problem. If it was clear and logical. It would be case closed. The case is still open after more than 1500 years after the council of Nicea. It’s a valid academic objection.

He believes a different sound of a letter shouldn’t result in a different translation. Tabari accepts different readings. If two people in the English language pronounce the same letters. The other person will take it as another word while it’s the same word. It’s also a fallacy that each difference in wording must be translated in different meaning. Tabari holds to this position. Different readings has nothing to do with preservation. These are two complete separate topics. Preservation is based on chains of transmission.
