MTG shot herself in the foot. Only 11 Republicans wanted to bring a vote to the floor. That's just over 5% of them. Let's not waste any more time on this mega Karen.

@attasoa More nonsense from you. Russia needs to understand that it can never dictate terms to countries that are 40 times larger economically and at least 10 times more powerful militarily. Russia is being demilitarized. Two more years in Ukraine and it's game over.
47
Now we just need Xi to make a statement about Outer Manchuria and maybe Putin will start to think more clearly.
31
@Jmpr12 Then you have blood on your hands too.

I'm no psychologist but I get a deep sense of grievance, victimhood and sociopathy from both of them. They know very well that Russia is murdering civilians including children but they are prepared to turn a blind eye to that suffering as long as it helps them strike back at their perceived enemies. There's a complete detachment to the pain and suffering Russia is inflicting. Hinckle reminds me of Ted Bundy. It also provides them with an income and a certain amount of fame , which they bask in. But that's all I've got.

Excellent comment. And to this day they refuse to acknowledge all the war crimes they committed in trying to achieve their goals. They're still crying about losing the war and trying to portray themselves as the victims. In the end they got a smaller Serbia after Kosovo gained independence.
19
You have no idea what socialism is and your comment is ridiculous.
18
Excellent comment. It's obvious that US allies cannot rely on them. The stampede to nuclear weapons will begin soon.
17
We asked the Ukrainians to do what we would never do ourselves: attack without air superiority and before Russian logistics had been comprehensively destroyed. The F-16's should have come months ago. The West has been hopelessly reactive over the past 18 months. What we need to do is clearly define what our objectives are and then arm Ukraine accordingly.
15
When you look like a witch 364 days a year how is one more day going to make any difference?
14
This is sending the strongest message to Putin. The US and Europe have decided that defeating Russia in Ukraine must be achieved. This is a massive blow to Putin and Trump and the "uniquely demented" mTRAITORg.
14
@stacey37m If it's Trump's plan then why doesn't he just announce it? That's what political leaders and parties do in the lead up to elections.
14
@stephenglover1818 Says the Putin bot. At least use your Russian name Igor.
14
Russian pilots flew combat missions for North Vietnam during the war. Why couldn't US pilots volunteer to do the same for Ukraine? Russia could have been defeated long ago.
14
Everyone who has voted Republican in the last two elections has aided Putin and Russia, even if it wasn't intentional.
12
@andy_s_8982 He was a laughing stock all around the world.
11
The effect on the frontline will be almost immediate because Ukraine has been rationing their use of ammunition on the assumption that they may get no further help from the US. Now that they know more is coming soon, they can increase their use of ammo. Slava Ukraini.

Maybe you should refrain from making such ridiculous comments. Australia is a staunch US ally. It has a formal military alliance with the US (ANZUS) and is also a part of AUKUS and QUAD. Australia is also in the process of buying hundreds of billions of dollars of nuclear powered submarines and other advanced weapons systems from the US. There are also several key US military bases located in Australia. China is an important trading partner for Australia but unfortunately for the Chinese, they need Australia more than Australia needs them. If you are in doubt about this just consider their failed trade war against Australia over the past few years. If Australia cuts off iron ore exports tomorrow, their economy will take a big hit. But China's economy will take an even worse hit. It would bring the Chinese economy to a standstill. As for Indonesia, they have a new government and it's not clear yet what their policies towards Chinese aggression will be. But they do have a dispute with China regarding China's refusal to accept the UNCLOS ruling that went against them.

@stephenglover8828 Still haven't gone to the frontline to give your life for Putin?
8
 @jamesgornall5731 More Russian BS.
7
Professor, why do you think Russia says such obvious lies? I can understand that it may benefit them to a domestic audience. But to a neutral observer of even moderate intelligence it comes across as being absurd. It makes the Russians look ridiculous.
7
Australia appears to have set a precedent by allowing its drones to be used inside Russia. Let's hope NATO will follow suit.
7
Russia has already attacked numerous Ukranian train stations. There will probably be an uptick in Ukranian attacks on Russia in August 24th as well.
7
@cameronspence4977 He shouldn't have any say unless and until he is elected. Your comment is ridiculous.
7
He's awesome.
6
The US can continue to send weapons and ammunition to Ukraine via the Lend Lease Program. My understanding is that Biden can sign off on any weapons that Ukraine requires. This could keep them going until January 2025. Is this not currently happening?
6
The letter the Southern Baptists sent to Mike Johnson seems to have done the trick.
6
Come on professor, they knew exactly where the money was coming from. If you were approached tomorrow with such a generous offer, wouldn't you do your due diligence?
5
He's blocking assistance to Ukraine right now. So what's the excuse?
5
@peetky8645 It's money spent on US national interests. Have you forgotten the hundreds of nuclear weapons Russia has had pointed at you for decades?
5
If he had supported terrorism his reputation would have sunk like the Moskva. How do you justify the murder and kidnapping of civilians? What is right about murdering 260 people at a music festival? How have these atrocities helped the Palestinian people?
5
The money being under discussion has already been identified and frozen. I'd be ok with it going to Ukraine.
5
Bingo.
5
@Drew-gi5dw Trump has not stated that he would arm Ukraine to the teeth if negotiations failed. That is a figment of your imagination.
5
Russia will not be able to keep fighting sooner than Ukraine. Their defeat is practically inevitable. So it's they who need to beg for peace.
5
Anders Puck Neilson has an interesting take on it. But as a supporter of Russia's war crimes you probably won't like it.
5
They have lots of 18-25 year olds because they have not been recruiting younger men.
4
@stephenglover8828 Trust the Russian stooge, eh?
4
Long range ATACMS mandated by law.
4
BS.
4
Exactly. The way I see it is that most Russian claims or accusations are confessions. There's a good chance Russia has lost 66000 Kia and wia.
4
@psychohist Source please. I follow politics closely and have never heard Trump say that. Seeing is believing.
4
Explain how?
4
@cheztaylor8 That's not how I understand it. I don't hear any protests from the Australian government.
4
I hope Ukraine can send putin an early gift this year. Before the ruscists are on their highest state of alert.
4
Most probably bribes had a significant influence on those procurement decisions.
3
@southafrica8140 Supporting Russian war crimes reflects very poorly upon you. You should be ashamed of cheerleading the murder of Ukrainian children.
3
@stephenglover8828 You're trolling for Putin again? You two should just get a room. It's lots of weapons and ammo FYI.
3
Well there's no denying that Ukraine is making steady progress in recapturing it's land. Russia is the party going backwards. If it takes a year to drive Russia out, the result is still the same. Your Russian cheerleading does you no credit.
3
I still don't understand what the claimed injustice is. The jury convicted on what seemed clear cut evidence. Should criminals not be prosecuted because they are a former President? Or because the timing of the prosecution is inconvenient to them? Where in the constitution does it write anything to support either of those views? Trump's legal cases take a long time because he keeps doing everything in his power to delay them. There is no injustice. Trump has been accorded special rights and privileges that no other defendant would have received. If anyone else reading this had committed the same crimes along with the criminal contempt of court they would be in prison now. There is a two tier justice system and it has been working in Trump's favor. Republicans need to stop with the lies and misinformation.
