Good intentions might not fix things. In fact, sometimes good intentions end up screwing things up. BUT if you truly had good intentions, then you need to accept that people in general care a lot more about intent than results. There is capacity within you to correct mistakes that you've made. Focus the energy that you spend on dwelling on mistakes onto trying to correct them at the best of your abilities. Your efforts (not specifically results) to do better will be of more use and joy to both yourself and others, than your death will ever be. Also remember that even if you are not successful at everything you do, your mistakes could help to teach you to succeed, or at the very least help someone else to succeed. As a species, we learn more from failures than we do from success. And that goes for every pursuit in life, even up to such ambitious goals like sending people into space and setting foot on the moon. It is the sacrifices and mistakes from previous pioneers (some people even died) that enabled the first people to set foot on the moon. Try to keep this in mind in your darkest hours.

These characters mean a specific sound, but each character is always a vowel and a consonant, unlike the western alphabet where each letter is either a vowel or a consonant. So while our letters sound like "a, b, c, d, e" katakana and hiragana are always pronounced as "ka, ki, ku, ke, ko" or "ra, ri, ru, re, ro". So in a schoolbook teaching japanese students english, they probably use katakana or hiragana letters to demonstrate how an english word is pronounced. Which then makes the words include a lot of redundant vowels, like having a "u" sound at many words. Like the way they pronounced "kit kat" in the video, some of them said "ki-tu ka-to".

It's like they secretly value their non-american heritage a lot more than their current homeland. It's very peculiar because I've never come across this behaviour from people of other nationalities. If they're german citizens, they just tell you that they're german. If they're Finns, they tell you that they're from Finland. But ask an american and they go: "I'm from america... But on my mothers side i'm part french and part Slovenian, and on my fathers side i'm part Irish and part Norwegian, oh and there's some Cherokee blood in our family too!" If one really takes such great pride in the United States and is such a big patriot, why would you even make a point of or acknowledge any heritage from the outside of the U.S in such a vigourous way that Americans do? Very bizarre behaviour to be honest. And to me, it just seems like they're missing their roots.

I consider it rash, irresponsible and non-conducive to resolving some of the legitimate grievances that Russia has towards the Nato expansion. If I was working for the Russian government, I would not be able to say that without being prosecuted under Russias new law against "fake news" (again, a law I disagree with and disavow completely) But in order to understand this conflict, it is irresponsible to run around thinking that it just appeared out of a vaccum. These tensions have been building up for a very long time, and if you're going to criticize Putin's actions then it would be prudent to do so from an informed position, rather than dismissing anything Russia has to say about it as propaganda and "delusions".

Several people in my circle of friends are homosexuals, so I am more than familiar with what homosexuality is. But regardless about your or my FEELINGS about it, the fact remains that lgbt-acceptance in society goes hand in hand with some distressing patterns and cause for concern. Like the issues I've mentioned above. I don't "like" the fact that pro-lgbt societies are faced with rapid population decline. I'd prefer if homosexuality could simply be another way of life that doesn't intrude on the normal running of society. But from the looks of it, this isn't happening. And so something has to change or go in order to rectify the problem.

In response to that woman who think nuclear weapons are stupid: The U.S and other super powers before it often bullied and oppressed smaller nations due to having superior military capabilities compared to their victims. Every country that has acquired nuclear weapons has been immune to military invasion. Now regardless of the Kim family being far from ideal leaders, their nukes is what has kept the United States from entering North Korea, because the U.S, despite their bloated military fears a nuclear retaliation if they were to employ military intervention against North Korea. Nuclear weapons are not stupid at all. They are a relatively cheap method of ensuring national sovreignty. We shouldn't have "less" nukes in the world. We should have MORE and make them more equally distributed. This would reduce war in the world in general because no matter how powerful a countrys military might get, they will never dare to send troops to a country with nuclear capabilities. It's called Mutually Assured Destruction. And it is the sole reason why the Soviet Union and the United States of America never went to war with eachother. If you take the military option off the table for everyone, national leaders will be forced to negotiate instead of fighting.

So the Japanese have no reason whatsoever to be "grateful" for U.S military intervention. The U.S are oppressing Japan just as much as North Korea is.

  48. I seriously doubt the Russians will just settle for Crimea. At the very least Ukraine will have to let go of Crimea and the Donbass region, since there's way too many ethnic Russians who support Russia in Donbass. Also, there's no way Russia will go along with the rest of Ukraine becoming NATO members. The best outcome Ukraine can hope for is losing Donbass and Crimea while also agreeing to a treaty in which they will never pursue a NATO membership.
