@nigelsynnott7344 Heard the same thing during lock down... I'm still laughing best having laughed last
4
When a people facing oblivion were given a chance to rebuild their home. Oh how dare they...
4
@jme2310 So the Jews ought to just be denied their home, that what you're saying?
4
@parametr Prioritisation over a petty remark by a caller who she'd likely never even hear from again in either case. Pathetic.
4
And so should have NATO.
4
@harrisr1018 your argument is disingenuous - I don't ever recall flying a jet or pushing the button to drop a payload. But I do recall that I have priorities and that it's pathetic how we as a nation are expected to endeavour aiding the rest of the world because they can't be bothered to do the work, but we're told not to lift a finger to bail out our own: rather just tax them more.
4
@gijgij4541 I don't recall Johnson having people arrested for simply posting an opinion he didn't agree with. I don't recall him freeing criminals simply to fill the prisons with protestors. I don't seem to recall him ignoring one violent act whilst putting a spin on a disagreement: deeming revulsion of the incident in Southport as "Farrrrr right thuggery" whereas with the BLM assaults, choosing to take the knee before them. Shall I continue, or is your view of Starmer so delicate as people's feefees these days that it must be protected at all costs?
4
The sign of any politician regardless of party, yet people fall for it every time.
4
Never trust any politician. What they say and what they do are two different things.
4
@TheShortStory don't be so pedantic.
4
@zonkedmusician1502 And isn't the EU a... as you call it a "Trusted Institution" 🙄
4
You plan on taking them in at your expense?
4
Given before Israel was refounded, Gaza was completely uninhabitable - your argument has no stance. They built it up and now you say they want to destroy it.
4
Another loudmouthed hypocrite. And I recognise myself as English btw.
4
@sollykhan2385 yet freedom rallies and anti-lockdown protests are met with police looking to dissolve it.
4
Question. Where do the borders of "Palestine" begin and end? Here's another - how can Palestine exist when Philistines haven't existed in almost three thousand years?
4
Come on - if you need to have that enquired about still then you're blind. They failed because he likely had dirt on a few at the top; too many fingers in too many pies so to speak. They look out for their own plain and simple. Criminals covering their tracks.
4
Lovely speech, little puppet. There simply won't be any change, other then what establishment wants and each fool who went to fill in their little paper have gone and empowered them to do so. Again.
3
@DJWESG1 funny; come up with that on your own, or did the puppeteer let you have that one?
3
@@sassysam6998 a difference being that in a public owned service, the public have say over its running - in state owned, you have none and you are given no option but to pay into it. And when the state runs it poorly and still demands the same payment, do you share the same enthusiasm to pay as your just recent claim of obligated contribution? If so, you have no means to argue the likes of the current situation as regardless of the sentiments this nation has - the NHS is not the public's but the states' and the dull minded populace have let it be with no resistence.
3
Correction James: we didn't get the Brexit we wanted - no one was gunning for No Deal which had locked us in a grip we won't get out of sooner. And for all your autopilot bluster against the Tories; as well founded most points are - you seem to offer nothing other then back pedaling and capitulation as a half-hearted solution.
3
@paullacey2999 "Friends" right...
3
@Tom.J.O There never has been, never will be. Elections aren't about voting someone into power, they're about granting consent to the same establishment to act in your name whilst giving you the option to choose which stooge will obey them. After all if democracy was truly a thing - whether you reject or accept their views: the EDL couldn't just be banned or outlawed.
3
@django3422 Because in a democratic system, everything has to be allowed to be tabled and discussed. It's among the reasons why authoritarianism almost always arises from a sudden support via the democratic process. When something is banned by the democratic system, the system inadvertently contradicts its principles in that people can bring anything to attention and it's a sign the authoritarianism has gained ground, rendering democracy useless. In either case - democracy is a farce that ultimately gives way to the very thing it sorts to avoid. It's never a matter of if, but when.
3
@weswheel4834 And I take it you know everything there is about Starmer or that he knows anything about you personally. 😏 The blind leading the blind.
3
Was only a matter of when, not if the sympathists would bring her up again. They'll use any excuse.
3
@nigelhopkinson6614 the Tories made the vote for their own careless reasons, I made the vote for my own considered and justified reasons. Believe it or not, not every Leaver is a mindless sock like James has to have on air to give him the Illusion of intellectual instead of the typical one hit wonder he actually is.
3
@1inchPunchBowl Those are the desperate words of capitulation; that's like saying you hope the tiger kills you quickly once it has its jaws around your throat. What people actually have, they blatantly ignore because doing what is the actual move out of this entire mess is too much for their weak mentality to take on.
3
@nigelsynnott7344 Denounce the system itself - refuse the vote and start being accountable and responsible for ourselves instead of blindly voting at random for those we have never met, personally know even less about and ultimately consent to the establishment whether the choice made is the one successful or not.
3
@goldenaye3 Ireland did that itself - the north wanted to stay part of the UK and the south didnt. Seemed fair enough to split it and the south got the larger share: so what exactly is the problem.
3
I voted for the one and only time in my life for Brexit and if I was asked to choose again, I'd vote to leave again without a flicker of hesitation.
3
Because Labour voters know SO much better... and I say this as someone who doesn't vote Tory.
3
@Brendon-e3o You mean for me to just nod my head and accept only what im told. Sorry, never going to happen.
3
Perfect opportunity to deflect people's attention away from other issues. It's nothing new since people tend to have a short attention span.
3
@leohoddle7203 oh without a doubt, combined with making political correctness laws to quell potential unrest from opening the doors to the EU - culminating in the last Labour PM making just one remark that cost them the election.. Something about an elderly lady being "bigoted"
3
Should ask why the majority of single mothers are single in the first place. Widowing is understandable, infidelity on the man's part is understandable but anything else is inexcusable.
3
@Hanoth Jamie bulger's murderer's were... how old when they murdered that poor kid? Moral reletavism won't quite cut it, Sam. She knew what she was doing and did it of her own will.
3
@mobsiesixsixsix9785 And you buy into theirs. I go by facts, not feefees.
3
@jodyarsenault2311 Hmm easy enough - when Israel declared their attack, Hamas denied their citizens from leaving in spite of Israel telling them to let them go. The "noble lands" around them, denied passage for folk wanting to get out, with Egypt only just deciding almost six months later and even then, they won't take them up as refugees. And I don't even need to mention how all the "fighting men" were hidden under hospitals filled with such. Textbook definition of "meatshield" there if you ask me. Keep them in plain sight and then play the victim card because bleeding hearts fall for it every time. I don't have to lie - you do enough of that to yourself. But then long term memory is always a convent inert ability when to comes to bleeding hearts.
3
Wow, both my replies removed - file those under "nerve touched."
3
@reaceness Explain all the manhating and blaming the modern men for deeds of the past they had no influence over - if not spite.
3
Oh please, the salute was off in every historical way. At best it was a Roman salute and at worse it was to get you all riled up. And it clearly worked. He trolled you and you're all melting over it. Pathetic.
3
Crocodile tears. Given how he can support the regime that not only attacked on October 7th unexpectedly and committed heinous acts towards women and children, but then has the audacity to point the finger and cry "Evil!" When a declared counterattack takes place and said regime tucks it's tail and shields behind its own citizens - I'm without sympathy. And as for the surrounding regions screeching against Israel's actions - taken in any of the refugees? Hmm last I checked they all said they weren't going to... wonder why, seeing Palestine is supposed to be "the victim" here...
3
🙄 When has that never been the case...
3
They're Arab and Turkish, Moses was Hebrew and the lineage is passed through the mother, not the father.
3
@aliasofanalias7448 and grovelling to a spoilt brat who's now king is? Spare me the moral posturing. My respect is EARNED not just demanded and my sympathy was given as I have empathy to a family losing a loved one. But that does not excuse the fact the wheel will just keep turning - so if not now, when?
3
@uqs57bju His stance wasn't about being "liked" it was about making a valid point. And as I stayed on a previous comment - had he not been on a talkshow where his time was limited; I'd be inclined to agree.
3
@Adamfandango Out of order, sure; but stop making a mountain out of a molehill. If I cried for every mishap of courtesy and what not that occurred - I'd be waterlogged. She got enough respect for the fact the charges made for contacting the studio goes to pay for its existence - the show is there to share opinions, not dictate respect and courtesy. The man was frustrated, fairly so. It doesn't justify his antics but explains them and in the end does any of that make his stance any less valid?
3
@tonycowin She did it with pomp and condescendence - I hold no pretense to his antic, but she holds no more better and isn't held to the same scrutiny it seems. Her facts are disingenuous at best and cowtowed to the status quo at worst.
3
@ShahidKhan-ke8fe I DON'T care. It's so utterly irrelevant and disingenuous to the matter - she was looking for an excuse to cut the call and nothing more.
