"To embrace the snake is to invite the bite and so too, it's venom."
3
@drummingtildeath Says one who must be foaming at the mouth to jump back into the fold of that failure of a bloc like an obedient puppy.
3
@cogboy302 at least he is able to wipe his own backside and can tell where he is at all times.
3
Tell that to those who broke the ceasefire last year and now try playing the victimhood card while hiding behind women and children.
3
So where do you stand with misanthropes?
3
@keithmilburn4866 I'm only ashamed of our establishment on both sides of the aisle. I voted Brexit and I'd do it again in a heartbeat, however.
3
@Maltloaflegrande as if Labour wouldn't be found the same thing... last I checked Political Correctness became mainstream in the UK under a Labour government.
3
@Jimdigby yeah, emphasis on "Boys" not "Men" oh wait, we're not allowed to be those anymore...
3
@lukedovey3682 and "Freedom Fighting" when the other side does it. Right... 🙄
3
@HarrySmith-hr2iv Actually no it isn't. Palestina was named after the Romans enslaved the Jewish people following 70ad and after Rome declined even that name ceased. Besides Philistines don't exist any more and even they never had a nation. As Palestine means "Land of the Philistines"
3
@1seafisher Yeah, he also deemed "The religion of peace" as "The perfect religion" too.
3
@stevenfennell7020 And were improved in return with the foundations put in place. How many railway stations did India build after their independence? Singapore now one of the wealthiest countries on Earth? Honestly all the whining such bleeding hearts make, is PATHETIC!
3
Is a freebie walk into France really worth being dictated to...
3
@ThomasKing19933 And both he, I and even you know that argument of yours is one of someone without a counterargument.
3
@SillySausage2024 Why even go for a party at this point? It's ridiculous after all this time that people haven't figured it out that every party that ever aspires to power answer to the same few who REALLY run things. Those that won't answer to them, will NEVER get a sniff at number ten. It's all a con folks and those of you eager to go ticking a box next to a name, keep falling for it!
3
@jonathanboam5409 Been Orwell, done that. And no, I don't vote so thus when those in power do as they do in the voters name, I cannot be blamed as I never consented to them; unlike the gulled masses who still thinks the vote does anything other then legalise their being owned.
3
@SuperLaughHard finally I find a comment worth agreeing with.
3
@waltermesser9737 There isn't one. Never was.
3
@mattbrown-mb No such party exists - none with any aspirations for position anyway.
3
A country that doesn't exist. 🙄
3
Their sacrifice doesnt mean those now getting a freebie did the same.
3
@chrism415 You see it, but also understand its by design. I agree we need a whole new form of governance - but the only one that would work: few will call for. And that's one that has no one elected and no one elevated to position - where each and every man and woman is made to represent themselves and accept the accountability and responsibility for their own issues.
3
Better yet, why are those coming here not actually working to improve their own country, instead of abandoning it and their "families" to come over here and get everything handed to them... Oh wait: easy life at our expense then have the cheek to claim we offend them.
3
@nigelsynnott7344 Individual accountability and responsibility along with a meritocracy based on ones actions meeting just desserts. That's what I would replace it with in a heart beat. Democracy is the remedy for the egotism of elitists to indulge the ignorance of the masses as people tend to not want to sit and go through the motions - they'd sooner vote in someone they've never met, nor understand and who likewise in return barely knows ten out of the many tens of thousands they claim to represent... because it's easier.
3
Same with any other politician. Himself included.
3
@TheCloudhopper Nope - I voted to Leave and I'd do it again. Not for the Empire, but in spite of it. We did not abolish the largest empire on earth simply to annex ourselves into one that's nothing more then the continuation of what Adolf started!
3
As if Labour are any better - party of the unions who, at the expense of directionless folk who when griping about their situation wind up striking until demands are met... at the expense of everyone else but the union leader: who is never in the same boat as those they "represent" and makes a killing out of the whole thing. And here we call the Tories - fairly so, but don't go thinking they're the only ones doing it. Most importantly of all - blame people who can't and won't start thinking for themselves and resolve their own problems.
3
So Labour can continue the same song and dance? Their intentions are the same as Tories.
3
As opposed to the other team demanding the masses make normalised the observation of a struggle against reality. Ask them what a woman is, see what happens. That very statement needing to be made gives them very little to stand on and I'm being generous.
3
Hear hear.
3
@toriesdontgettazered7464 😂 I did no such thing - I don't vote in this corrupt and broken system. However a lot of people who once voted Labour put Tories in power as suffice to say, Labour lost out in 2010 for a reason. And if former Labour voters voted Tory then that clearly should tell you a thing or two. Not that it's made a lick of difference either way aside from methodology.
3
@karlclark8625 There is something we could do, but it's something no one wants to - voting is an exercise in futility because no matter who gets in, the status quo never changes and those calling the shots have certain ideals in mind that will come to pass sooner or later. So, we have to acknowledge the problem is the system itself - and the idea that one MP representing around 50,000 people is a load of bs as he or she will never even speak to a fraction of them. People should be acting, thinking and speaking for themselves instead of depending on a select few to decide for them. And anyone who wants to argue about "Rights" if someone else needs to tell you, you have them then those aren't rights at all but privileges that can just as easily be taken away as given. I personally call it Anarchistic Meritocracy - based on personal accountability and responsiblity for yourself. You have as many rights as you yourself are prepared to stand up for and fight for. So long as you do that, don't be a hypocrite about it and practice what you're preaching - the laws make themselves.
3
Yeah, just too bad the "skilled" are outnumbered fifty thousand to one, by the "unskilled" flooding in... who unlike them are sneaking in cia dingy. What a ridiculous argument on their part.
3
@1inchPunchBowl sanctimonious much? At this point being English seems to just stand for being target practice from everyone crying waycist and calling us for everything we once stood for and yet seem to love coming here.
3
@BillyBobJoeSnr History repeats it's course, only the details change.
3
@robuk3723 precisely. Brexit hasn't even been done properly.
3
Oh ffs...
3
Somebody ask any and all party leaders - HOW can you pay back the debt with a currency backed on the very debt it is supposed to be paying? Face it - the majority of the world has been in a state of bankruptcy since the disbanding of the gold standard.
2
Yes because Gaza has no issues in preventing it's own civilians from leaving and using them as meat Shields. Messiah was crucified in their ignorance as they were foretold they would do by Isiah, this is done in retaliation against a side that has repeatedly rejected the two state solution over and over and decided to vote in a group that actively wants the Jews gone. What did you think was going to happen following the incident in October?
2
@SlowhandGreg oh get off your horse, Sir Greg.
2
@britishrose9417 never did delude myself by that way of thinking - I voted for Brexit and I stand by it.
2
Or anyone at all. Seeing as each party is a different coloured cup and the establishment is the tap that fills them all with the same water - it really makes no difference who is in.
2
@k3369-1 Accused doesn't mean proven guilty. I have no intention to defend a guilty man, but I will not point the finger at someone who may not have even committed the crime until the evidence proves beyond doubt.
2
@Padraigp You could make a thousand of them - it won't make a difference. They all answer to the same master.
2
@ThomasKing19933 And by voting you're doing just that.
2
@Al-Hunt And your taxes go up to make up for it. And what is the currency based on?
2
As if there were a difference between the two... 🙄
2
@ozzie2612 Then you really have no idea how the game is played. Think of each party as a different coloured cup and the establishment is the tap from which each cup is filled. Does that water taste any different because of the colour of the cup? No, it doesn't. Establishment pushes for whatever party they want in and the politicians simply make a career in bickering to give the impression there's actually a difference. But because most people don't pay attention, it works and keeps them in line.
2
Right wing?! Oh please...
2
@debnbhuy I can tell you what it's not - right.
