  1. Hey Mitch, Never worry what others are doing!. I understand though that people want to know where they are in life, but if you are happy it doesn't really matter. I am 37 and am married with 2 children (so far), I own my own house with a mortgage. I have just done a net worth calculator and came out at just over £400k, I don't know whether that is good or not, but like I said, I'm not fussed as long as I get my weekends to enjoy with the kids and wifey I'm happy!!

  5. Well presented, I'd personally like to see some FTSE based examples. One question would be about cost dollar averaging...the Intrinsic value is good to know at the time you invest but if you are a monthly investor, how does that effect your returns.

  9. If the rate of CPI does not fall more rapidly soon then there is blatant profiteering going on. Producer input prices were -2.7% in the year to June, so this needs to be passed on to the consumer.

  34. Id like to see them keep the interest rate at 2-3% minimum in a stable economy. They have been so low there has been zero room to decrease it to stimulate the economy.

  36. Great video Mitch, only just found your channel, new to investing in shares, sure I’ll be watching all your videos now! Quick question, if I use a pie to build my portfolio and auto invest each month (to make it easy) how would I go about pulling my funds out of a certain company if I changed my mind on them? Say, for example, I decide I no longer want shares in Apple, do I just pull the Apple percentage within the pie down to zero? Would the money invested in apple, and any earnings, just go back into my pot? Thanks in advance Mitch!

  37. Great advice Mitch! I had been investing straight into the vusa for the last 4 years and this year I decided to move my isa to T212 and try and do it myself. After 6 months of actively managing it I underperformed the market and now I just invest into blue chip stocks and the vusa again rather than chasing the next growth opportunity. I’ve definitely learned a lot in 2021 and this advice is sound! I’m very happy with my overall portfolio now as it’s more dividend based but have 18% in Apple, Microsoft and Tesla :)

  44. Great video detailing out the dividend snowball which is exactly why I am a dividend investor. In my opinion, there is no easier way to generate wealth and/or at minimum creating a passive income stream. It all comes down to investing in high quality companies with a long-term horizon, quality over quantity and patience with consistency makes for wealth 💰 💰 💰

  45. If fractional shares are banned then the whole concept of investing gradually into pies will be stopped. Jeremy Hunt said ISA’s will be made simple. I hope that’s a clue that this will not happen. Will be a disaster for most if Pies are gone.

  47. I could be completely wrong here so please correct me if so. You said about a decade of lost returns. But that’s if you buy at the top and then don’t buy again? If you DCA throughout that decade you come out the other side considerably up… no? Or am I missing something. That’s the point of DCA’ing?
