Remember these CIOs and fund managers have a product to sell. Take what they say with a pinch of salt, as like most they are often wrong. Given my time horizon @35 is another 20years, I'm quite happy DCA into ETFs. Exact same approach with my pension and of course getting the tax relief. Play the long game, not the weekly snakes and ladders

Very interesting Mitch. Always learn loads from your videos. Thank you 🙏👏👏
2
Great breakdown. I feel like my portfolio is too tech heavy so I’ve been diversifying it a bit with some safe and stable dividend stocks and REITs.
2
Well done with your portfolio 😊
2
Well said ,👏
2
Great video I’m enjoying seeing your journey!
2
Hey Mitch, great vid. I think I’m being stupid but where does that 12 months of expenses get held? Just safe investments/savings?
2
Wise decision Mitch, good video. I never understand people, who say they are getting in for the short term to make a quick buck, that can only lead to failure.
2
I completely agree with this, the US stock market is a lot better for long term investing than the UK market
2
Mitch, what are your thoughts on REITS? Do you currently hold any?
2
I have a mix of handpicked stocks and S&P ETF, but I’m now starting to feel a little bit overexposed to the whims of the US economy since almost all of my investments are in US stockmarkets. Do you have much diversification across multiple economies? I was thinking the Vanguard FTSE All World ETF might be the most sensible play to mitigate some of that risk
2
Nice video, I know your main secondary source of income is your YouTube channel but a video on additional income streams would be good, since the average millionaire has 7 income streams.
2
Time to move 75% into TSLA, they will be a $10T business in 2030, the MSM are moving to praising rather than discrediting…
2
Mitch another great video of the fundamentals of investing especially in these crazy times of today’s inpatient traders.
2
Love the videos, learning my way and have subscribed
2
Thank you for your video. I understand the ultimate goal of dividend focussed investors now. The M&G example was so clear. But so many things need to go right before a dividend payment can become your income. Much easier to take compounded savings and purpose a house that then provides passive rent income. Anything under €14000 is tax free. But with an ISA paying dividends, all income is tax free. 🎉
2
Mitch, Palantir is FLYING. Think you're better off than you thought! Hoping to hold until around 20 then sell 95% and see what happens with the rest
2
Great video Mitch. 👍
2
Sorry might be missing something but 400 over 36 months is 14,400 so by that calculation you have made only 1600?? Sorry limited knowledge here so might be missing something - just asking
2
@MitchShoesmith yes I need to watch more videos like this to learn, Really want to invest but with some substance and sound research
2
First, dope vid 🔥

It's funny to me nobody considers the possibility of inflation slowing to a trickle, or even deflation, even without taper or increased rates. QE is not inflationary long term, it's disinflationary. Money printing doesn't matter if it's all in reserves and the velocity of money is slow.
2
Good stuff. Like this. Cheers Mitch
2
Well done I started on motorcycles content this time last year and juggling lockdown I have still managed to do way better than I expected. Keep up the great work
2
Great video again. I plan to do the same and carry on putting into the s&p 500.im also buying up gold as that has been going up nicely with inflation
2
Excellent video !!
2
Another great video Mitch, 😎
2
@MitchShoesmith Thank you! I think that every UK investor should have an ISA account and if available an employer pension taking use of employer pension matching schemes
2
The amount of leverage that Chinese real estate company had/has was amazing!!!
2
I have a good mix of UK and US stocks - Looking to pull around 50% out for the next few months - Would you favour either one or split it down the middle?
2
Be interesting to watch
2
Could you do a video on the various providers who offer JISA?

Great video, I appreciate the effort you put in all your work. What do you think about Nasdaq 100? How long this bull run will keep going?
2
@MitchShoesmith I find it saves so much time and thinking brain power lol I just let money go into my T212 pie every week sit back and look at it every so often rather than being glued to my phone for the first 6 months of this isa year 😂 I look forward to seeing how your portfolio performs in 2022
2
