Hi Mitch, Out of interest why do you only use the 'trading 212 isa' and not the 'invest' or 'cfd' options?
2
@MitchShoesmith Ah thanks mate, I guess it makes sense to invest in the ISA up to the £20,000 a year limit then!
2
He never once claims that you will make millions.

Thanks Mitch, certainly something to think about with this one. I've only just begun my investment portfolio a couple of months ago so I'm sticking with that for now, then I'll have to see where I'm at this time next year when I come to remortgage. Hopefully the rates won't go too high!

Don't believe the hype and stories. The media are great at manipulating the figures to suit a story. Also it's the average market price. Price for a property in the UK can range from £10,000 to £100,000,000. Location and region makes a huge difference. Supply and demand. Surrey has still a large demand for property, and house prices are rising where as some of the mining towns with high unemployment and empty houses house prices are falling.

Knowing this market it will probably raise by record levels in September

Great video, very informative for people like myself looking to get into real estate, keep up the good work👌

The content of your videos over the last couple of months has really improved and I’m enjoying the take on overall market conditions linked to real life.

Hey Mitch, is the FX Impact fluid? As in does it constantly change or is it at a fixed rate based on the exchange rate the moment you bought shares?
2
🤑 Been a long time subscriber and love to see the progress you have made overtime Mitch. It has been great to follow you as not only have you been transparent but you have always responded to my previous comments. A lot of YouTubers lose touch with their community so it is great to see you still interacting!

Great book

Hey Mitch. Loving your content, and you have a new subscriber here. What do you think of doing a video on tax? If your investment strategy is indeed long-term like this, then I'm thinking - at least in the latter years - you would need to account for a fair chunk of that. Think it would make for a good video and I can't find much else out there on the topic. Anyway - keep it up!
2
Congrats on your growth! I've been subscribed for around 6 months and must say your vids are very good compared to other investnent channels 👏🏻

Im now averaging £2500pa Whilst my aim is £10 day/£3650 pa then i will be happier.... Long term goal is as much as realistically possible..

My guy, hope you’re feeling better Top video once again

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Disney's innovations actually make the S&P 500 sound exciting! Who knew theme parks could teach us about investing? 🌟🎢

Interesting vid Mitch. Couple of points. That 6p per liter average over the last year does not just effect every household running their car. The haulage companies pay a very similar rate. I am a HGV driver for 8 years, and for about 4 weeks this year, we were told to fill up at the pumps because it was cheaper than the 20:000 liters the company had already paid for. That greed has effected every price for products. Take as an example a jar of jam. Individual ingredients, the glass jars the paper wrapping for the product. The cardboard tray and plastic wrapping for transport, then onwards transport to retailers. Every stage has had that increase or 6p per liter. (A articulated truck avg approx 9-10mpg) That may explain the constantly high food inflation. Regards 30-40 year mortgage. Apparently very common elsewhere around the world, in the USA as example. Perhaps a way for new buyers in the future to work to a budget to own that house. Not ideal, but as we get fleeced every time we re mortgage with bank fees, i wonder over that 30 years, what the fees would be if you remortgage 15 times in comparison? Keep it up mitch👍

Hi Mitch - loving the content. Could we see a deeper dive into your property investing strategy? Like lessons learned, what type of mortgage (interest only?) you’re on, overall costs of setting it up, managing tenants etc.?

As well as obviously watching more of Mitch's videos, which are always so educational, entertaining and easy to digest, I would also highly recommend reading a book called 'The Price of Money' by Rob Dix. It's extremely helpful for learning about finances and, most importantly, how to invest strategically to use inflation to your advantage. I completely changed my long-term investment strategy after reading it!
