In my opinion, what makes superman interesting (apart from his moral aspect) is his dilemma of being a god, helping people, defeating cosmic villains, but not being able to change the selfish, conflictual and destructive human nature. I vaguely remember a story drawn by Alex Ross in which Superman was trying to end the hunger in Africa. It was very interesting because even though he was able to move planets, he was still dealing with something that he could never definitively end, but he did it because he was more human than humanity.

  6. The reason Rings of Power is such a blasphemous catastrophe is that the creator has had no input. Tolkien didn't sell his IP to anyone, he left in the custodial hands of his family who have stabbed him in the back for a quick buck. Star Wars is dead because George sold it himself and I don't care what they do with it. But I will stand as a man of the West for the world Tolkien created for everyone to enjoy.

  24. Quick story: I work in a nursing home and there's a resident there that absolutely loves film of all ages and genres. As such, he handles and plans all of our in house theater's screenings. He chose Independence Day to screen yesterday, instead of the usual older material, or toned down newer films, and not one resident didn't think it was awesome as can be and fun as hell. First time I've ever heard our theater's bass booming like an IMAX. It was heartening to say the least. Anyway, that's all I've got for today... I'll go away now.

Toy Story 4, Kung Fu Panda 4 basically undo the endings of the third film. This is basically a whole new story with a new set of characters set centuries after the trilogy.
