  1. For me, the 3rd point is the most important: if you don't trust sb with your money don't trust them with your heart. People can lead you on easily because we don't learn to respect our heart or our ability to love as much as we learn to respect our bank accounts/jobs/careers. It's a strength that should not be allowed to be turned into a weakness by a con artist.

Doctor I will use an expression used by people that resides on the Island of Trinidad & Tobago of which I am a citizen, " You just hammered a nail in my coffin" meaning that I just could not figure this understand the why, but It happened repeatedly to me, until recently where after viewing your contents meticulously and repeatedly this change started happening and I could not comprehend not even reason with this change, until that you now explain in detail that it made sense totally, thanking you very much for caring and showing no fear for doing so, I am Catholic by religion and when awareness like this is in your favour from a person like you we say to you that you are a god send, god blessing unconditionally to you Doctor, your work is greatly appreciated and treasured, Andrew.

  8. Really appreciated thiis. As a guy who's been divorced a long time, friendships are crucial. It does take effort to make and maintain them, though. One of the things I have noticed is I have met some guys I would like to get to know better and they sort of make friendship noises, so to speak, but then when you actually try to get together they're always unavailable. Sometimes making dude friends can feel like online dating, with the flaking and ghosting. But it's important to persevere.

  12. Very true. I'm in my 50's and I have found the most amazing woman. She has high morals and values and has humility and kindness. Most guys wouldn't think she's beautiful but if you look into her eyes and see her heart and soul you'd see she's one of the most beautiful women on earth.

  13. This is a great topic. It explains so much of what we see today in society, politics and even healthcare. Today’s society vilifies winners and glorifies losers. I’ve noticed in my lifetime a shift from rewarding winners to punishing them. Losers are automatically seen as virtuous victims now. In healthcare, there is an enormous amount of secondary gain by being “unwell”. Some people have a very hard time letting go of that secondary gain to be ostensibly healthy.

  22. Technically, they are correct. There is no such thing as truth. Truth is an epistemological term that describes ideas and should not be confused with the ontological concept of existence or reality. In that sense, the concept of truth is like the concept of numbers, in that it's a useful tool to work with ideas, but not something that objectively exists. Also, due to its nature, it can only ever be contextual, as it's only useable as a description within a framework of language and logic. You are correct in saying that there are a lot of bad teachers these days, though. It's unfortunate that liberal arts have devolved from being about logic, philosophy, and critical thinking to what it has become today.

  28. The majority of “problems” are really just a labeling problem. In other words, it’s only a problem because you label it to be a problem. A perfect example of this is male pattern baldness. It’s not a problem. There’s no reason to solve it. However, if labeled a problem by a person who is experiencing it, it literally has the potential to rob that person’s life of joy. The whole thing starts with properly categorizing things into actual problems (existential threats) vs perceived problems (ie, first world “problems”). Focus energy on solving actual problems and don’t give attention and energy to perceived problems. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

It's only when they are well past their prime, and the looks have expired that they are forced to accept this reality. There are a lot of women competing for a mans money. But there aren't a lot of women competing to help a man, and be a complement to his life. Ladies, if you want access to his resources, be genuinely useful to him. This is the secret sauce to getting, and retaining a high value male.
