And my friend, you are wrong at one thing: "The entire Iberian Peninsula was unified" 1:47, that's kinda wrong due to the fact that Portugal, wasn't really, really, really unified with the kingdom of Spain because the kind Fernando I (II in Spain) told the Portuguese Cortes that we were indeed the King of Portugal, but he let the portuguese people still talk Portuguese, assemble the Cortes wenever the nobleman wanted, Spain would only have an "ambassador" in Portugal representing Spain. Sooo.. it was like the Kingdom of Portugal, and Spain, but at the time was Spain territory (still seperated).

  6. Epimetheus Solid work. You had to skip certain things in order to be concise. That is reasonable because it's an introduction into India. Whatever you have covered is very well balanced and you have meticulously selected the most acceptable versions of different incidents. Quality research is evident and I thank you for it. And yes the Mayans, Incas and Aztecs would be a good video. Subscribed !!!

  8. I always despised the people who came after closing time to Amy's Ice Creams. Seems like they always had children in tow as their guilt props. I always rolled over and unlocked the doors for them, unless I was already counting the til. I would tend to let them get away with their inconsiderate behavior. This was my idea of a good deed, but I did wonder what it was teaching their children. It was in a very wealthy part of town so I imagine they were already spoiled and used to getting their way in other arenas beyond ice cream. Thank goodness that part of my life is over. OH! Second place goes to the people who would ask for 10 samples and then end up getting vanilla after all of that pointless flirting with variety. Wow, I didn't know I still had all of these feelings. maybe I should go into therapy? :D

  18. Epimetheus Although someone might take offense, surprisingly I didn't, even though I spoke loudly about it. I believe that nationality and patriotism have a place in my heart that is much smaller than the place I have for compassion, friendship and empathy! No nation or patriot value is higher than the value of anybody's life. Having said that, I'm actually very happy you are so excited about history and you are the kind of person who makes an effort to correct what's wrong. People like you make the world better a bit at a time. People like me just help or try to help people like you... :)

  19. Technically the HAN ended in 220 AD but the power of the court was basically non existent after general He Jin was killed by eunuch officials in september of 189 AD. That essentially led to various warlords of the time to raise armies to fight to "restore" the Han dynasty for the next 31 years. Which never happened. 3 of these warlords eventually gained enough power to hold sizable tracts of land and large armies.

  40. thank you for the great video, you forgot though a great episode of catalan history - they were the only ones in history who had self governing anarchist comunity (or we would say state) from 1936 - 1939. it lasted short because the WWII started but they did wonders for the economy and educational system
