  1. I graduated from highschool last year, and my parents have been constantly pushing me to work a 9-5 job, or get a college degree in computer science (because I'm good at math). Recently it's been a lot easier to not allow their expectations of me to define me. I started college in January, going into a computer science degree, and my first semester was abysmal. I failed three of my classes, a feat which caused a ruckus with my parents, because I got a 3.9 GPA in highschool. As of right now, 4 months later, I know that I want to study psychology, and learn Japanese. Both of which my parents say aren't practical/won't get me a high paying job. But I don't care. šŸ˜

  5. As someone that's also in his mid-twenties, I feel like it's best to focus most of your time on building yourself up. I think it's fine to spend a bit of time on dating, but it shouldn't be your main focus. If you find someone that's a great fit for you, then by all means, get in a relationship if that's what you want to do. But building yourself up is more important in this phase of your life. Fully neglecting your dating life also doesn't seem like a good option because your social skills will suffer. That's why I mainly focus on improving myself, but I also see dating as a way to do this. I see life as a game, and going on dates helps me to level up my (introverted) character.   6. I think a main part of the growing problem is that with modern technology and social media, it's become too easy to find vast amounts of people. When you have too many options, you naturally start to compare people in a relative scale of attractiveness. Back before the internet, the people you met in person or lived around was basically your dating pool. Now, the dating pool can be as vast as the entire continent you live on.

  13. Back in the day, by showing hard work, you were compensated with higher pays, more time off and promotions. Today when you show hard work you are rewarded with MORE work for the same pay and a promotion to a much more stressful position still for the same pay. Where I live we are always paid minimum wage, doing the job of 20 people in several roles in the same place, even if you have a degree. 3-4x the minimum wage is still unlivable, but no, companies still pay us the misery misery of 1 minimum wage (about $220) to the point that 3 people in the same house with full-time jobs cannot keep themselves. This is an insult, it basically means, if we could pay you less, we would.

  14. Because the world has turned into a cold, superficial and selfish place. It's all about what the other person can provide, it's all about if the other person is exactly the person that has your exact same standards, it's all about what you can gain with being with the other person. There were not much expectations about it back in the day, it was just someone that you could see yourself growing old with. It was more raw, more genuine. Technology has made love seem way colder. I am glad I found someone that loves me genuinely, and I love that person back, but not everyone is lucky, yet. It has to be said that to be loved, you need to love, but genuinely. Don't love just so the other person loves you, love in a way that is like your natural state of being (Be nice and chill most of the time, see other people as humans just like you, look at the positive side, etc.) You will instantly have love flooding in your life.

They are the type of people to not go into deep conversations and just seek to be cool and fun. I could never have a deep conversation with any of them. They would usually just agree and not expand on the ideas I'm talking about (cut the conversation short) . Plus you can't have a deep connection with everyone, so that explains it all

Iā€™m 15 and I was just feeling that way, I felt behind because people in my school are so good at sports, can play musical instruments and are also academically strong while Iā€™m just not good at sports, not fit at all, canā€™t play music, and academically average. But recently I sat in silence with my myself and thought that instead of criticizing my parents or the past self for lack of participation I should focus on now. I just joined the gym, started meditating, and implemented other activities in my life.

  20. If you are 100% healthy and your testosterone isnt going any higher than average, I wouldnt say thats a problem. For someone who does nothing in their life, having low testosterone is huge problem and symptom of bad lifestyle, but for someone doing everything right, it probably just means that your body doesnt need more testosterone to function well, and increasing testosterone higher won't really do that much. Lets remember that genetics are also playing a big role, and not everybody is capable of having supernatural testosterone. Testosterone levels are droping probably becouse life is way safer and we actually dont need as much to survive. Of course we all want as much as possible, but our body always act the best it can to make you survive, and increasing testosteron higher than needed doesnt serve that well. Do all your good habits guys, and if your testosteron isnt that much above average, dont think too much about it, just keep doing what you're doing, and remember that testosterone is not the only thing that makes you more manly.

I have never been an emotional person, and Iā€™ve tended to rationalize things logically inside my head rather than talking to others about my problems. Contrary to what most people say about this coping mechanism, it has allowed me to find my flaws and obtain inner peace throughout my life. Iā€™ve found that no one cares more about me than myself, and putting that self care into action has allowed me to push myself to be the best possible version of myself.

  29. One of the great things about owning physical media is that you can share it with others. Back in the day my friends and I didn't need to each own a separate physical copy because we could share and trade. Not only did we save money but it got us talking, developing trust, learning how to return things and take care of things so others could share and enjoy them too. Looking back, the simple act of borrowing somebody's game cartridge or book really helped me develop great values and friendships. And while there's plenty to be said for building communities online, I think digitizing everything has caused us to lose opportunities to build community in-person, which leaves us more and more alienated from our local communities and ourselves.

  30. I think the "high value man" discourse has been very destructive. The general consensus is that to be high value man you have to live a super shallow, materialistic, and immoral lifestyle full of obsession with wealth, breakage of the family unit (Having a family with 1 woman), and shallow living. I don't want to be a dropshipper or use hustlers university to get rich, I just want to have a happy and peaceful life. I'd rather live a modest life raising a family in a quiet town than live in Dubai with a mansion, 5 baby mothers, and always chasing the new luxury item with the rest of the red pill millionaires. This is just my personal opinion but my desires are more spiritual at this point in life than material

  41. I had thyroid cancer and I just had it surgically removed. The past few months have been hell, and I thought it was over but now I have to go through intense radioactive iodine therapy to assure that the cancer doesnā€™t come back. Through all this hell Iā€™ve encountered your videos have helped me improve a significant amount and Iā€™ve been able to cope and keep peace within myself and limiting how much I overthink. Looking back, all the people i cut out of my life, are now in debt up to their eyeballs, have more kids than they can handle, in jail, etc.. Im not joking. While itā€™s important to tend to your relationships, there needs to be some level genuine interest/value provided by it to yourself, because without that it ends up becoming a relationship for the sake of one or fear of being alone. Then people whom you should have kicked out of your life long ago end up influencing your decisions and life course, which ultimately is more of a burden. Relationships are important, but whatā€™s more important is finding the right ones, one of which and most important is yourself.
