  2. @Shizhe Hu plus, they let 5 million Wuhanese out before the bann was implemented. Dr. Campbell mentioned this, but I also knew from other sources weeks ago. Alone for this China should be confronted at an international court. But there is a lot more. Even by now there is no detail data coming from China. By now they should have pretty good knowledge about children, pregnant, which people are lesser affected, etc. Nothing available that I know of.

  3. 4:16 Increased Infection Numbers. There is a remarkable fact overlooked by the media, and probably many politicians. I am using Germany here as an example. The number of tests had been increased drastically, from about 350,000 tests per week in June, to about 875,000 weekly tests in August. The rate of positives however is constantly around 1 % since many weeks. Logically by doubling the number of tests and the % rate of positive results remaining the same at 1 % we will have a doubling in new infection numbers. But the reality is: nothing has changed! Based on this long-term numbers we can assume that consistently about 1 % of the populace is infected. No increase, at least not for Germany. Secondly we can assume this has not changed since week 22 (24 May 2020), regardless of loosening the restriction or other factors. Likewise, they will have to step back from their 1 m rule very soon. Here is the only point I agree with Trump: No more funds for the WHO. They are guilty worsening one of the biggest catastrophes known in history. Although Mr. Trumps intention for saying that is for saving his arxe.

  15. He has ben correct with his conclusions from the first minute he began his reviews of virus data. He should be the leader of the world WHO, not a puppet like the current Coward-19. But I doubt he would survive there for very long, and that is why he would decline.

  20. Anti-sciencers are now everywhere, not only in the US. They are everywhere in the world, including the UK. They do send their kids to school, they do think the evolution is right, etc.. But they deny that doctors and scientists have the qualification or knowledge to identify this as a true pandemic, the knowledge to judge what measures are appropriate, and they do not trust them on developing a medicine. They believe it is a hoax and conspiracy, or a Bill Gates plan to rule the world. So what else is that than anti-science?

  28. You can reduce the risk by wearing a mask, washing hands every 2 h, disinfecting your tables twice a day and disinfecting the floor once a day. Don't come all together but stagger arrival times. If the school does not have the manpower, organize that within your class.

By end of Dec several doctors exchanged information about it on Wechat. They have been reprimanded by the police. That means by end of December the problem should have been taken serious at 100 % level. By then it was a problem only. They said Dr. Li is not a virus specialist, only an eye doctor. Why would he not know about viruses? Are Chinas doctors idiots? Does the police know better about viruses? Your government did everything to suppress the information until 23. January factually. They still let 5 million people go, 70 % of them stayed inside Hubei. About 18 % travelled to other places inside China, mainly Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai, which are now clusters. And 12 % travelled outside China, mainly Singapore, Japan, and Thailand. Which is now a health crisis. Please, I do not want you to be feeling bad, it is not your fault. But this was handled wrongly right from the start. I also do not want a discussion about racism or blame. These are the facts. Facts are being displayed differently internally in China ... well this is not the first time.

  30. That was an excellent recommendation with the DW. They are of course somewhat Germany-centric, but still, DW some excellent reports and documentaries. They did develop to one of the best news channels in the world, and they are the testament it does not need a huge budget to produce good information. In my opinion the world has become autistic, but DW is an exception.

  41. Hi Medina, the body does not keep immunity to all virus we ever got in our lives. That would be a complete waste, and it's simply not how it works. However, it keeps the memory and if the virus returns, that memory information is being activated. So, do not be overly alarmed by news such as efficacy dropping to 50 % or less. Besides, Johnson and Johnson is a failure, IMO. It becomes clear and clearer this 1 dose regimen is marketing only, and should be two doses like all the others.

They believe this, although Germany had actually only mild restrictions compared to most other European countries. Further on they believe the empty hospitals in Germany are the proof for these opinions (and not a success of the policies implemented, and the health system). Therefore they think the mask is a violation of their personal rights. So is not being able to have vacations freely. Note, Germans don't need to wear mask all the time even, as what for example we in Singapore have to do (at around 30 C and 95 % rH day and night). Lastly, these people believe Bill Gates and big pharma is behind this to make us all to will-less medicine dependents. They think the vaccines which are being developed is some form of drug to harm us. So far these are crazy opinions only. But the point is, these people merge with people from the far right, who use this exact arguments to increase their exposure and influence. Then they display Nazi flags in front of the Reichstag building, that's what Dr. Campbell meant. I am about the same age as he is. For the first time in my life I am deeply ashamed being a German.

  44. Not impossible. I watched a video that said in Italy a case with an unknown lung disease was reported on 18. of November 19, of course by then nobody knew it is a new coronavirus. But it does explain the "sudden" outbreak in North Italy, and why it hit them "suddenly" so hard. Did you or some of your contacts have any connections to China?

At the best around 20 % in Stockholm, experts say. They had over-proportional death numbers in the beginning, because they did the big mistake with the elderly homes. That mistake has been corrected. Some loose restrictions have been established, which fit well with the Swedish mentality. Swedish people practice physical distance naturally. You could not do that with Indians or Italians. That's all.
