@johnathancreque8303 This has nothing to do with "better" or "worse" it's part history and part practical. English is one of the easiest languages on this planet perfect for an international basis. So trade, air traffic, sea traffic, space traffic, even Scientific Papers are spoken and written in English. A lot of people still prefer their own languages and english might be simple, but it's also limited in a lot of ways. People who speak foreign languages know this very well. Sometime there are simply no words in english for some foreign words. I'm also against that one language should replace all others. Keep the lanugages they are a cultural gift and should not be forgotten. For the EU multi-lateralism and multi-culturism is very important so they funding programs to rescue minority languages and even dead languages of some regions in Europe to avoid losing them. So yes ... a global language like English is helpful and needed to communicate, but our history, culture and sometimes even our identity is bound to our lanuguages and nothing should be lost. See this here for example. For me English is my 3rd language in my life. And now that I'm older my 2nd most important one I need almost every day.

Even if the DNC would hide Biden for the next 4 months and noone in media would from now on talk about "Biden's issue" and people would turn blind and deaf to everything they see and hear from Biden ... Trump and his campaign will make sure everyone sees clips everywhere. And they will use the silence about Biden and frame it as deception and also use it to convince independent and swing-voters.
1
I would actually welcome if they would ban all private healthcare or let's say make "public healthcare" mandatory for everyone to pay in but you can have more by paying privately as well. Important is that noone can escape the public funding because the current system is failing because more and more people decide to go for private only.
1
Fox News Opinions: We tell you what you want to hear, not what you need to know.
1
@clydecrail4524 I agree. And that's my point. Opinion and News (Facts) don't mix well.
1
What is currently happening is not right. It feels like blackmail to the American people. The DNC is holding a gun to American Democracy and saying "vote Biden or otherwise" leaving no alternative and not voting Biden is also not an option because it would mean Trump and the end of American Democracy.
1
What primary? Did you see any debates, any townhalls, any interviews? Did alternatives had a chance to present themselves? Some states not even had a vote like Florida. Do you call this a primary ... or just waving through?
1
@applechili2848 Read my text again. I explained what all not happened and why that was a primary Putin would be proud of.
1
Just simply expanding is way to shortsighted. What's preventing future presidents to just do the same until 99 judges sits there ... for life. It needs much more reforms, reforms which are fair for all no matter who is president or which party have the majorites. Politics must somehow get out of the Supreme Court it's supposed to be a watchdog for the constitution and a firewall for democracy against the executive (president) or legislation (Congress) to make sure noone is above the law and noone tries to overturn the system. To make it more clear for normal people. It should be the umpire of the game. And what happens when the umpire is partisan? Yes outraged fans and unfair decissions.
1
Frankly the most important point was not even mentioned: Media. It controls public opinion and it radically changed since the 80ties. The rise of the internet, social media and extreme channels like Fox, Newsmax, OAN, etc.
1
Now you must only vote them out of the state government no matter how hard they make voting for you. The Democrats can than restore Arizona to normal in all aspects including elections and protests.
1
Why isn't the FBI holding an official press conference and talk about Hillary and Hunters Investigation once and for all. These two stories bubbling under the surface and the Right-Wing keeps using them because there is no clarify under this. Tell them how much work has been done on them, which did come out, everything to make a final line under both topics so Right-Wing is out of ammo.
1
Cenk has also more than 20 years of experience in this field.
1
You completly misunderstood the problem. This is not about proving your ID before you vote which you of course must do or you could pretend to be your brother and vote for him, this is about getting on the list of voters at all for which you need to register first. And making "Getting on the list of voter" costly or more difficult for some people is discrimination. It's no necesarrily racist because they do this to poor people and workers and homeless as well.
1
1a) Voting rights 1b) Filibuster 2) Infrastructure -- to create jobs for people when vaccinations allows the economy to lift off 3) Tax Reform -- To pay for the infrastructure and people will sooner accept it with 2 around 4) Stricter Gun Control
1
Trump had a similar idea before the elections and even after the elections. He played with the idea to attack Iran to stay in power.
1
I highly doubt it's a grift. The costs to run are substancial. Just to be on the ballot paper of one state cost you 5,000$.
1
And you think these other groups cannot be racist and want to discriminate other people?
1
You just hate what you see in the mirror. And that the left was right all long about Trump must be really hurting.
1
Appeasement? It didn't worked out well some years later. Why giving them prestige by participating? In a way you even confirm their ways by participating.
1
@notoriousd.i.g.87 Noone said it would be the only possible diplomatic action. But it's one hurting and effective. And simple by just doing nothing ... a rare opportunity. When else can you hurt someone by being passive?

The issue is that people see how Democracy in the US is corrupted to the core, stagnating and simply no longer working due to obstructionism and the unfair Senate-hold on the country. Just look at Biden desperatly fighting against his own party members to get anything done. So people have more than enough to reason to say "Democracy [US Democracy] is no longer working maybe we need something different." And since people tried to vote Republicans and it got worse, now they vote Democrat it is not getting better they are justified to ask if it needs something more extreme something else than Democracy. The last outcry on that was the election of Trump with his "I'm against the establishment" ... of course Trump himself was part of the establishment but people swallowed it anyway.
1
Half of the politicians are elected on this bunch. Of course they don't want to antagonize them. Oh well this ship has sailed now has it.
1
A lot of immigrants or naturalized people support the right-side of politics only in hope they leave them alone when things get urgly. And initially they are welcomed among them. What better flattery than supporting the racists as a immigrant. But when things comes to shove they throw you under the bus they just waiting for an opportunity.
1
Most empires in human history crumbled from within not by an outside enemy. Extensive corruption destroys every society over time.
1
Yes this works but careful, when they ever find out the relation becomes unfixable in the future.
1
@PaulRumbold-wk5re Fractions is practically percentage math. Percent is "n/100" a fraction (per cent/hundred).
1
And that even altough Trump and the GOP mostly won. Lake is probably the worst loser ever and she just not get the message that voters don't like her.
1
Don't plattform him.
1
Well. That's Canadas territory. Greenland is only one access-point. And Russia is not really interested. They have their own passage from Siberia to Atlantic/Europe via the Artic. And the traffic increases each year as the ice is receeding. Why is this interesting? Because it allows cargo traffic between Europe and America to Asia without having to use the Red Sea or Indian Ocean.
1
How? Noone talked about NATO in all of the interview? I suggest you watch the interview actually before commenting.
1
@jacktenrec472 True. Normally. But I want him to think about this question. If he is really a simple troll I get some response probably a diversion to continue the conversation (Troll just want attention) if he just wrote without thinking maybe I can make him actually think this through.
1
@natlegend What's even worse is Trump thinks this is how he can control other authorian leaders like Putin, Xi, etc. by giving them praise and compliments and they leave you alone because of that. Naive and dangerous.
1
People using the term "Cancel Culture" = People who are afraid of changes = Cowards = CON-servatives = (often) Republicans In the end those people just fear we canceling them as well. This actually happens especially with old people who feel threatened by the young. Or rich or powerfull people fearing they lose their wealth and/or power. Fear is the underlying problem source. And some people try to use this fear to manipulating people to give them power (and money) by saying "I protect you from that." or "I make it better again" or even "I make it great again" See now how this all connects. It's unfounded fear and people exploiting this fear to get money and power. All dicators do that, all corrupt people do that. High-level manipulation of a human weakness called "fear". But they are not planning to make anything better, they just want the money and/or power when people realize this, it's often too late.
1
Obesity is not that easy. If you have only the option for fastfood in your area which poor regions/communities often are you are practically forced to eat obese.
1
Seems like 40 years of greed and corruption, indecency and dishonesty comes back to haunt them now. It's true Trump is the result, the amalgan of all of this. The worst America has to offer in one package.
1
That's a prejudice and you cannot generalize on this. But 50 years of Republican spending cuts to schools left their marks on the people.
1
Write Hollywood scripts ... or real books for that matter. You have way too much fantasy.
1
@janis902 Yes maybe. The only point is that they see for a while what Covid does to people and that it's real.
1
I think their plan to "flood the zone" backfired. This feels like binge-watching Games of Thrones - and I love it and get every detail.
1
If you want to convince people about this verdict ask people to reverse the roles. Tell people they should imagine for a while it would be a black police officer and a white would be laying on the ground. Or ask them to imagine both were white.
1
This is BTW the reason why right-wingers hate art, creativity and free-thinking and critical-thinking. Because people like me come up with such things which makes people think and question things.
1
That would be the wrong step. If you not clean this up before leaving others will try again seeing that nothing happens. And they will do worse next time. It's the same with lies. If someone lies is not get caught he will lie again and worse next time. This continues as long as it backfires and the person is hold responsible for his actions.
1
Keep in mind. Tucker is a millionaire payed by billionaires to shape the opinion of middle class people.
1
Democrats would have loved infastructure during Trump. But it never came up. She is lying in order to deflect. And that's the point where I close down on people. Once I detect someone intentionally lying the trust goes down the toilet and no matter what they say next has hardly anymore meaning for me.
1
Doesn't Bondi now has to prove that everyone who is taken by ICE is a criminal? Her argument is based on the assumption they are dangerous. And the burden of proof is hers. Her second problem is living undocument in the US is not a crime it's a misdemeanor. They better be real careful here because a court could now uncover their whole fake play here.
1
They never talk about that little nugget.
1
So basically ... "sleeping"
1
You know what this is: Speculation with tax-payer money. A hedge-fund. Speculation they know and control when and how it happens. Paired with insider trading this is a mega-cheat of the markets on tax-payers and normal investors costs.
1
The Reason why Republicans don't have any policies is, because they turned the US into their dreamland in the last 50 years since Reagan. The only fear they have now is losing what they have, that's why they only attack the Democrats, Biden and their policies because everything now coming is not in their interest. And to every Republican voter: You must be happy with the US as it is. It's Republican paradise including illegal immigrants (Republicans love cheap labour willing to get paid even less than minimum wage). If you don't like it then maybe you support the wrong party.
