  1. I agree it can't hurt to take a little credit and than for their work. If they don't do it, the next Republican will do. And saying "And the stock market is doing well" exactly like Trump did would probably freak them out. And keep reminding people what people said about Biden, about a Democrat democracy, about the predicated and impending doom and communism being introduced. People must realize they have been lied to in order to manipulate them into voting Republican.

  2. Trump and Ring-Wing Populism thrives because of support and collaboration or willfull ignorance of the wealthy middle-class. If you not realize this from the start you already lost the battle. Yes there are poor and desperate amongst the supporters as always but the large majority who are listening to people like Trump or Johnson are people without any money-issues ... they only fear to lose it ... especially since 2008 and with Corona. That's what making them support those people: Fear of losing what they have. THIS is actually what CON-servatism is all about: I vote you (I donate to you) and you make sure I stay as I am. And the more threatened the status of the wealthy middle-class is the more they are willing to support ... to not lose what they have left. The sad thing is: In order to try to ensure their economic wellbeing they support people who actually threaten it even more ... but it takes a while for them to see this ... too late for most. And there is always the risk you getting someone getting so influential or even powerful that you have issues getting rid of him when you want to. Trump being a good example now.

  3. Maybe not hungry but also not well fed. Poverty is forcing people to buy cheap food. And this is mostly highly processed food which is not good for your health. And obesity creates a ton of new problems including mental health issues.

Imagine what happens, when they realize they have been lied to and conned for money so Trump can continue his lifestyle of Gold-plated toilets and so on and that Trump gave a flying flamingo about them. I have seen Trumps first presidency and I highly doubt Trump will make things better. But if he does I am ready to apologize.   35. I have problems fully understanding it, because there is no fair wage, no healthcare, no social security, unfair taxes for them, inequality, unfair treatment, keeping up the racism. Normally this should be enough to not vote Republicans but for some reasons people only see the 3-Gs and seem to think it tops all else. It's completly counter-intutive. The only argument to explain this remotely for me is: Fox doing a good job into creating fear. So much that people are willing to vote against their interest.

I agree though that more money needs to be spend on infrastructure ... but the US could fund both easy peasy ... if the senators would not be so greedy.   38. Try to fight wage inequality it's the source of all problems. US has the worst of this world, twice as much as the UK, 4 times as much as Germany and 8 times as much as Scandinavia which counts to the best countries in the world to live in. The model is rather simple: Instead of on super-rich employee earning 10 mio per year, he get's 1 mio less and for that 1000 average citizens get 900 $ more wage. If the super-rich is getting 10 mio or 9 mio will not really hurt him, but 1000 families can live a better life and more importantly can spend the money back into the economy for property, to create saving, to invest or to consum. There are more measures here which Europe (except UK) is using, but when I name them here I'm called a Socialist.

  40. NEVER allow anyone to talk you out of voting! You may think or even have been told you somehow punish politicians with that but that's not the case. It's even worse you allow someone else to vote for you. You give away the only real power you have in a democracy - making this little cross once in a while. Even if you don't like the candidate you voting for unless you are against ALL of his or her policies there is no reason not to vote him. And keep in mind you voting the party not the person. This one person you vote for is unable to make policies alone the party is important and their numbers. See it differently: If someone has 10 promisses for improvement, but you don't like 2 of them? Is that a reason to drop the other 8 as well? There is a saying: Never allow perfection to be the enemy of the good.

  45. Reading through the comments ... If the politicians have the same conclusions and ideas I read here the battle is already lost. Maybe not in this election but in the next ones. All I read is either discriminating to Trumpists only pushing them further away or trying to solve the symptoms not the problems because the understanding why and where this is coming from is missing or wrong leading to the wrong decission making.

This ensures the real wage never goes down. And inflation becomes neutral for working people on earned income. And inflation is only a problem for money hoarders.

  50. Not liking someone opinion is not Fake News. Fake News is when you intentionally report a false fact/news. Lying is only possible on facts, you cannot lie on an opinion unless you lie about your own opinion but that's lying to yourself. You may disagree with the opinion from someone else, but having a difference of opinion is not a lie it's a disagreement. Basics of critical thinking and debating. And people not even know that but insist on it anyway.
