  6. Can you exchange the word belief with "opinion" here please. "Belief" has too many things attached. But what you describe here are Opinions and Freedom of Speech is sometimes refered as Freedom of Opinion. EDIT: And when you want to make me really happy, than you also explain what Facts are compared to Opinions and that both are not the same. And how you can lie about facts, but not really about opinions. And that there is only one version of the facts (we call it the Truth or Reality), but everyone of us can have a different opinion on those facts. And if you want to round this up you can mention that impartial media or unbiased media is media which is not mixing fact and opinion and optimally only give you the facts and leave opinion out of it.

  8. Compare this with a diagramm of Income Inequality in America and you will find they coalesce. The next thing socially on this compare the numbers of low-, middle- and upper-class households and you will find, that over the decades the middle-class diminshed significantly. Why is this important? Republicans get their donations from super-rich in exchange for tax-reductions for them and to ensure minimum wage and minimum worker rights so their profits max out. And Republicans get their money from the middle-class which gets smaller and smaller who fears to lose what they have achieved and because they think voting Conservatives would "conserve" their wealth and status as middle class (status quo, they want to maintain what they have). And this fear of losing your status creates fear and anger over time when the situation does not get better. They look for a reason for that and a direction to where to direct the anger. And to prevent the middle-class from seeing the truth that the anger should go to the people who sits in government they preemtive give them another target to make sure people never find out the Republicans are actually the source of all problems. And suddenly immigrants and illegals are made public enemy no 1 as well as all people who are not white. And since Republicans cannot make people vote on the basis of good policies anymore (all policies are not for the middle-class anymore but for the super-rich because they donate the most to the Republicans) the only way to keep getting elected is to fuel this anger-directing at "people who are different" and saying "They make the problems. We get rid of them if you elect us." But it's a lie. That THOSE people are the problem in the first place and that they actually want to end the problems. Without problems no anger, without anger you need another reason to still being elected. That's also why Republicans always and only talk about the future. The only thing they can do is promising about tomorrow, but they never deliver. They cannot deliver because as soon as people have no problems they no longer have anger and without anger they no longer need a target to put the anger at. And without that Republicans cannot win elections anymore because their policies are actually against the middle and low-class own interests but people ignore this because "they are on my side" or so they think. It's a vile cycle of lies and blame-gaming. And people continue to fall for it thanks to so called "News Channel" (actually Opinion-channels) owned by the super-rich to ensure Republicans are still voted and to "form" and "direct" public opinion and especially to make sure the anger of the people is not directed at Republicans. And this is also the explanation why those Opinion-Channels try to direct anger at intellectuals as well and all people who are able to make things better and especially all News-Channels and people who would be able to tell people the truth about all of this. Because if the people ever found out how far they have been betrayed by their own kin they will probably end the GOP instantly and never vote them again.

  11. Humans normally go through 5 phases of acceptance (or grief): Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. Very often "Shame" and "Regret" is a feeling at the end of this process. The strength and duration depends on how much problems, damage and costs you caused over the 5 steps. They can reach from hours to lifetime especially if it involves actions which cannot be taken back like leading to deaths and suffering of humans. Don't take those feelings lightly they are designed as a reminder to not repeat this again.

  13. European here. The Brits currently tend to drift away especially conservatives there. He is a typical Tory Brit nowadays: Long Long Long Windy Talking ... no substance and not able to focus on the question and not able to admit that Johnson pushed the Brit Conservatives extremly to the right since 2016 (the Brexit Referendum) and completly changed the Conservatives to something barely resembling what Conservatism was. The good conservatives - the ones people voted for 70 years - are gone. Expelled from the party last year while placing country before career in preventing a so called No Deal Brexit (Leaving the EU without any agreement which has serious economically consequences). If you think you get a European average opinion from a Brit especially a conservative you couldn't be more wrong. The fact of the matter is, the so called Brexiteers in the UK are strong Trump fans because he allows them to live out publicly their racism and hate for foreigners because they think they are ones why the country has so many problems and getting rid of them somehow makes their lifes better and moreso Trump as President in a way allow them to live out their ignorance as well like: He is ignorant in public and he has power so I can be and have too. He somehow gave them a freepass to spread around their bullshit so society is more and more drowing in ignorance and it deepens the divide in society and ignorance as always creates all kind of problems especially with Corona around because ignorance cannot solve problems it only creates them. There is support for Trump across the continent, but almost exclusively from extreme right parties because they hitchhike to grab power. However since most of the continent has proportional voting (not the UK ... yet) the political spectrum is full of all kinds of parties from the left to the right. People have much more choice. But the most right ones of them are the only ones who would vote for Trump the rest not so much not even the Conservatives. Mrs. Merkel from Germany for example actually is a Conservative.

  30. With EU countries (not UK) keep in mind that you can visit only 90 days in a 180 days period and they keeping track of this but can move relative freely between all 27 countries. So don't buy property in den EU without a citizenship. Even some Brits were forced to leave owning property in France.

Education changes need 10 to 20 years to effect society, but if you preserve and protect the truth even a Trumpist suddenly can make reasonable decissions. But not as long as Fox and Co and Republicans at the same time filling them up with lies all day. Create a "Right for Truth" as a human right. It creates a legal basis to make people who are lying responsible for it and as a Human Right it can limit the use of Freedom of Speech to justify the lying somehow. (Only Human Rights can limit Humans Rights).

  34. Keep in mind that dual citizenship is the exception not the rule. So in most cases in Europe you lose your American citizenship by accepting another. Also keep in mind when you do have a dual citizenship with the US you still have to pay your taxes in the US even if you live abroad.

  41. Come on people. Bidens 2000 bn $ Infrastructure plan is not in one year but over 8 years. The yearly revenue is 3500 bn $ every year. And this is before increasing the corporate tax to normal levels. And it's also not new money (not printed money) meaning inflation is also not an issue especially since this money is invested expands bussiness and returns immediatly as new taxes and economical increase.

We promise to fix all this." 5) Republicans get elected and never plan to fix anything. Fixing things would take away the reason to be voted. Back to Step 1. Rince and Repeat.

Reducing their own taxes on your expenses, government contracts for them, subsidies for them, insider informations for them, rules and regulations gone or added that helps them making more profit on your expenses, among other things.

  49. What I noticed generally is that those channels all day trys to aggravate people, to make them angry at something, to force them out balance out of calm, to increase the blood pressure. And than between the lines hardly noticeable pushing this anger into a certain direction the channel wants. Controlled-Outrage or whatever you want to call it. This "directing" is very subtle controlled away from Republicans, away from policies the American Oligarchy don't likes towards a target of their choosing. And this is repeated all day every day until people have seen it so often that they think it true and was always the problem. I'm a 100% sure this was tested before in so called focus-groups with the same audience to know excatly which buttons you need to push in order to achieve that. It's one of the highly sofisticated ways of manipulation psychology has to offer. The only thing which resembles this would be subconcious messages which never really worked, but this thing on Fox it almost as good but works. And people don't realize this. The longer they watch this the more their opinion is "formed" in the way the channel wants. I'm actually now at the point that this type of TV should be banned as a threat to national security. It's influencing the Free Will of people subtle but noticeable.
