  29. They don't seem to understand how bad a Russian victory would be for the West. It's just going to whet Putin's appetite to create mayhem all over the globe. Now, it is very refreshing to see the (far right wing of the) GOP lose interest in foreign adventures - this attitude was sadly and disastrously lacking in the early 2000's. But this is a terrible time to go isolationist.

I am planning to cook a pot of borscht, but most traditional recipes seem to include vinegar, which I don't care for. Is it ever acceptable to make borscht without vinegar? Any help you can provide would be much appreciated, and would constitute a major step toward reconciliation between Russia and the West.
