Tells us what audience he is performing for.
1
Russian trolls would immediately report him to YT.
1
Because Putin can't really control the guy who made the mutiny. Guy who knew about it is more under putin's thumb. Putin makes deals with people he can't defeat, like Kadyrov's daddy.
1
It's Jake's new intro.
1
They are probably compelling it. Putin wants as many Russians in Crimea as possible, so he can say Crimea is overwhelmingly Russian. Also, you never know when he might decide to stage another referendum - every one of those Muscovite tourists will be given a ballot to help ensure the vote goes Putin's way.
1
To be fair to the Putin squad - they look old enough to have nostalgic memories of when Alaska WAS a Russian territory.
1
Hey Vlad. Has the weather settled down? I don't wish a flooded basement on anyone, even an FSB troll. Be sure to get all the moisture out - mold's a killer .
1
If that happens, can Belarus join NATO too?
1
And, the alcoholic Margarita should certainly have her beers straight. I hope Jake features the latest release from Russian Media Monitor, where Solovyov kicks one of the commentators out, and as the guy stomps out you can hear the sound of a bottle getting kicked over. The folks on the Solovyov show get plastered before each presentation!
1
Are members of Minihap exempt from getting mobilized?
1
Well, that remark about Portugal needing to fear Spain certainly got misconstrued. It was a joke- like George Carlin's remark that the Army has all the flame throwers, and therefore we'd be totally screwed if we ever went up against the Army. Is there some bad history between the two countries that would put this joke in bad taste? My family came to the US from Canada, and a couple of my friends used to constantly joke about how easy it would be for the US to seize Canada, to which I always replied that this would mean the introduction of 30 million new voters who prefer socialized medicine. This always ended the conversation, then and there......
1
Move the capitol to Kyiv, and rename Russia 'Eastern Ukraine'. Set up some sort of settlement in Siberia, preferably close to the Chinese border, and put Putin. Shoigu, Kirill, and all the Kremlin muppets there. Kadyrov? Send him the hell back to Chechnya, without any Russian support, and let nature take its course.
1
I just read about that - it happened in Mykhailivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. A team of Russian propagandists arrived to make a film about a high-ranking Chechen official. There was some sort of argument with the Dagestanis, somebody got stabbed, and they began firing grenade launchers at each other. Apparently the Dagestanis won. 20 dead and 40 wounded. The Chechen commander was sent to the front line as punishment. I don't know if the propagandists finished filming or not.
1
OK Jake, I am looking VERY forward to your take on Russia's 'Victory Day' parade, with only one tank, and each column of marchers spaced about half a mile apart.🤣
1
It is - Putin doesn't give a damn about any Russian living outside of Moscow or Saint Petersburg.
1
Putin really is trying to rebuild the Soviet Empire, so it is appropriate.
1
Indian media is disgustingly pro-Russian. They are always cheering for Putin.
1
The thing to remember is, the propaganda doesn't have to work on us; it has to work on Russians. And ideally on non-Westerners throughout the world.
1
People are still confusing Margarita Simonyan and Olga Skabayeva. It's not hard people. Olga looks like she wants to be a boy. Margarita is really ugly (which is unusual for an Armenian - their women are typically kind of hot.)
1
I feel bad for tuning in late, after demanding Jake give us an update. But hey - so much to report, NOBODY can keep up with Russia's foibles!
1
Yeah, those college kids surfing on Omaha beach sure got a big surprise!
1
Oh, not always boring. The Russian Army recruitment videos that depict Russians as poverty stricken and constantly on the run from mafia lenders were quite informative.
1
Yes, and Patriarch Kirill will still be kicking around, claiming that God is preserving them both for all eternity. (Solovyov and Olga will have been tossed off some balcony by this point.)
1
How about when Belarus joins NATO?
1
Cant the Russians seize Putin's assets? Or is all his wealth stored safely outside of Russia? -edited for atrocious punctuation
1
Yeah. Traditionally, General Winter was always Russia's greatest ally, but somehow Putin has even managed to f*** THAT up!
1
You make excellent points, but I have to ask - is allowing Ukraine the same leeway that Russia has always enjoyed really an escalation?
1
One thing missing - where, oh where, is the lovely Olga Skabayeva?!? I miss that cute pout, that adorable look of shrewd concern on her face! I really enjoy her little fits! Is something wrong with me?
1
The focus of this show is to support Ukraine. There are many other venues in which to sound off on Biden or the US.
1
Remember that ghoulish 'funeral expo' Jake covered a few months ago; the one that was so obviously targeted at young Russian war widows?? I wonder how the exhibitors are making out.....
1
Those supposedly crumbling support structures don't indicate shoddy construction - they are the aesthetically-pleasing result of a special concrete texturizing operation.
1
Those poor conscripts! Were they even issued uniforms or just told to bring their own clothes? And they don't look like ethnic Russians either. Putin is cleansing Russia of non-Russians. Guys, I hope you surrender soon so the Ukes can feed you a proper meal!
1
She preemptively issued an apology, gushing about her love for all things Russian. Still, a weird choice of attire for a childrens' concert. Makes me wonder what they wear when they're performing for adults.
1
They will go home, promptly commit another crime, get sent to prison, then back to the front!
1
Putler youth comment.
1
...everyone will be considered at fault, no exceptions...whether they were accomplices of Putin's regime of just passing by.......' Is the ever lovely Margarita trying to slowly distance HERSELF from Putin? Or trying to tell the Russians they are all in it just as deep as she is? Also Jake, shame on you for not at least touching on the news bit about Putin allegedly falling down the stairs and soiling his Adult Dependz!
1
Nobody wants to absorb Kaliningrad- I mean Koenigsberg. It would mean absorbing a million ethnic Russians.
1
That charming toy tank battle would be enhanced if little Vlad Putin was sitting on top of the imitation Russian tank. BTW, did they mention that the Germans were making slow but steady headway at Kursk until the Anglo-Americans landed on Sicily, sending Hitler into a (possibly unjustified) panic which caused him to discontinue the operation? Because, I didn't see anyone in an American or British costume on that gymnasium floor.
1
Draws attention away form her face, which kind of got hit with the ugly stick
1
The feel-good video I still want to see takes place in a couple of years; new NATO member Ukraine has installed few dozen minuteman missile silos in Western Ukraine, and American contractor Broe is instructing the techs in how to operate a missile squadron.
1
But ROTC is not political.
1
I don't know about Canada, but they did have a settlement in the San Fransisco area. Gonn alvoe watching Russia try to assimilate folks from the Bay Area,
1
It's common practice to try to get people to eat invasive species. In the US, New Orleans is trying to get people to eat nutria.
1
@icolky5272 Oh wow, orc-kebabs! (Serve with sour cream)
1
They're probably polyester fakes made in china.
1
NO, but anybody within eyeshot of her damn well IS melting.
1
Just to add, it's not makeup she's wearing - it's SPF 500,000 lotion to protect her when the bomb goes off overhead.
1
Yes, I too thought immediately about Bill OReilley's tantrum. People had fun turning that one into a dance mix and several skits - hope they do the same with this one.
1
Exactly, Kyiv the capitol, with Zelensky the new President of Russia. I suppose to make this acceptable to the Russians we have to give Putin some sort of official position - ministry of fisheries, or youth sports, or maybe let him dress up as a drum major and march in parades.
1
I realize Western nations are upset at the dwindling support from the US. As an American, I am too. However, please realize that we have sent a hell of a lot so far. Can other countries pick up our slack for a while? Not just because we are dropping the ball - but because further US aid to Ukraine will be a far easier sell if the detractors can't make the claim that the US is bearing the whole burden. Seriously, more aid from the rest of the world will make it less difficult to convince other Americans that we should cough up more as well. Oh, and Putin? We freakin 'WARNED you about the terrorist attack, just like we warned the USSR about Germany in 1941. Everything we do is not a nefarious anti-Russian plot. I'm sorry that doesn't fit the narrative you've been selling your benighted people. Just say thank you, and then pi$$ off.
