  6. Depression is largely caused either by being traumatized and rendered dysfunctional, or by being in the wrong environment so you can't live in accordance with your nature. Broken bones don't serve a purpose, but sometime bones are overloaded and they break. The same thing happens with your mind--if it's overloaded (stress) or is in the wrong environment (can't develop itself properly, and live in accordance with its best nature) then depression is the result.

  16. I've heard of people that do that, the music helps 'activate' their brains and makes them better problem-solvers. In my own case, I always found that if the music was anything I thought was worth listening to, I'd get too pulled into it to give a hoot about whatever else I was doing :)

Not to come across as a callous dickhead, but considering how much bread this cat has made I'm having a rough time understanding why he'd be too bent out of shape over having permission from somebody else to work for a living! Especially when you consider that license or not, anyone receiving therapy from him is probably aware that he's probably qualified to do it at least as much as any "real" clinical psych with the paperwork to say so! Hell, I've been to plenty of psychs in my life and most of them are a joke, they do more harm than good. I'm sure Dr. Peterson knows how to avoid fucking a person's mind up even more than it already is, and if he's in the mood for it, he might even be able to do some good. Google says Jordie is worth around 10 million bucks. Let's say he's worth 2 or 3 million because Google always seems to exaggerate this sort of deal. I guess he'll just have to figure out how to live off it.

Having a way with words is one thing, knowing how to use them to manipulate people who already know they're being manipulated is an entirely different game! Using verbal coercive persuasion tactics to modify how a person's mind works (psychology) isn't the same thing as trying to do it to the entire country (politics.)

  28. This Mike Lee guy sounds like a thoughtful and articulate man. But, why is it that whenever a government official speaks, I always get the creepy feeling that I'm being manipulated? That everything out of his mouth is doubletalk or that he has a hidden agenda, even though he's going out of his way to come across as honest and forthright? I don't even live in the States, I'm Canadian. I've long ago given up on Canada, we're just a pathetic cesspool of political correctness, corruption and psychopathy, so when government sorts open their mouths I just automatically block it out and dismiss it as manipulative bullshit. But, Mike here seems to be making an effort to not let that happen. Still... What's this guy's fucking agenda? How is he choosing his words and crafting his sentences to get MORE POWER OVER THE PEOPLE? After all, he seem to be saying it himself: That's what government is all about.

A country that prides itself on being free and being highly developed has gangstalking, too. It has drunk-driving cops and even judges. It has a LOT of street gangsters and a subculture of degeneracy, people taking pride in being antisocial and committing rape, theft and vandalism. Canada just hides its problems and/or ignores them, that's all.
