@stormagedden785 that’s because glass has properties that can be exploited.

@stormagedden785 that’s because glass has properties that can be exploited.
1
@moshunit96 and I pointed out how that’s not true
1
@salvatronprime9882 yeah, carjackings aren’t up 300% in some cities, and rioters haven’t been known to attack cars
1
Because renewables are just bad in every way you can think of.
1
lunacron, just as bad as what? Fossil fuels? No, they aren’t. They’re worse because they distract from real solutions.
1
Nuclear and gas plasmafication.
1
Fusion gets billions of dollars every year

@isodoublet seeing as my last comment disappeared, I’ll write another one. Here’s stuff about the Ford and VW CEOs said https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLNr3AgekSw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEUbce3HlkA Reasoning from analogy is bad reasoning. People ignoring a good source of energy isn’t the same as figuring out if something is popular or not. Teslas are at price and range parity. Their charge time isn’t too bad. EV has a whole are 1/11th as likely to catch fire as ICE cars Biofuels are a joke. They return less energy than goes into making them. Nice try to deflect from my point
1
@isodoublet you need to go back to school and learn what an analogy is because you’re comparison of the Model 3 to nuclear power is what’s called an analogy. You also make it abundantly clear people are irrational. Recharge/refuel time isn’t the same thing as range, and you just ignored everything else. Now, you have to be playing stupid. No intelligent person is going to misunderstand energy invested in and energy taken out as some kind of argument that biofuels aren’t perpetual motion machines that some how break the laws of physics. I was obviously talking about the energy humans put in compared to the usable energy we get out. Brazil just makes up the difference between what they use and the ethanol they make with other sources of energy

You do know holdings aren’t liquid capital.
1
@THEREALZENFORCE he sold that to pay taxes from Biden, and SpaceX aren’t bankrupt. They’re looking at the possibility.
1
He sold a portion of his holdings in Tesla to cover a tax hick from Biden.
1
@granodiorite9032 in assets, not cash
1
@problemsolver3254 he’s constantly confusing assets for liquid capital.
1
Yes, you luddite
1
Stupid people are going to think stupid things regardless of what we do, so letting them dictate our actions makes no sense.
1
@efabiano82 have you seem ASIMO? It’s nothing close to this, particularly when you understand even a little bit about the differences in how this and ASIMO move. ASIMO had to carefully plan every action and couldn’t correct it self at all. This uses a neutral net to create adaptive actions as it goes along.
1
@azalago oh my god, the second generation prototype that’s still being built isn’t completely functional! We all know a prototype that an as of yet unfinished is 100% accurate representation of all capabilities
1
@darricshhh I’ve already explained that the architecture of the software is completely different from anything from the 90s, and I also pointed out the differences in how the Tesla bot moves. The hardware is still lacking, as one would expect from a prototype less than a year after they started. The only bs here is you trying to act too cool to like popular things, like a little kid. If you were actually thinking critically, you wouldn’t be using logical fallacies like ad hominems and trying to see if I’ve got credentials you can submit to or dismiss.
1
@Sabundy y’all is a contraction of ye all dating back to at least the 1700s and most likely back to Early Modern English (Shakespearian English), possibly even into Middle English. It’s one of many archaic features found in some American dialects. Just unknowingly keep that centuries old bigotry against the Scottish dialect going because it’s far away from London where the powerful people lived.
1
@memkiii you’re clearly willfully blind. I can’t argue with someone who refuses to see the proof in front of him.
1
@memkiii you have half an idea of what you’re talking about, but that still makes you wrong. “Ye” is an archaic third person singular with “ye all” being the alternative to the third person plural “you” in some old dialects. The only explanation I have for the mistake you’re making is the you’re confusing the informal third person plural “thee” with “ye”. You need to get your eyes checked because I didn’t use anything like a slur.
1
@ItBurnsWhenIP I made a typo. Oh no! My points that “y’all” is a centuries old contraction and hypocrisy of considering “y’all” improper while using “ain’t” are completely invalid. You say I don’t support what I say and literally the next sentence you say I misuse “ad homine” without any support. I’m fine being a joke to idiots like you.
1
@ItBurnsWhenIP You want to chastise me for not capitalizing the a in Ad hominem? This is extremely casual writing. Also, seeing as English is your 3rd language, you’re probably mistaking high level writing technique —although, typically ones only used in creative writing— for writing mistakes. I am sorry; I forget that there are a lot of non-native speakers who are easily confused by less common writing techniques.
1
@ItBurnsWhenIP now, you’ve got to just be a troll. All of the words are spelt right.
1
@ItBurnsWhenIP No, you just don’t know how English words are spelt. You should try looking the words individually so you can learn how they’re spelt.
1
@ItBurnsWhenIP You said I maid spelling errors then go talking about commas and other thing. I also enjoy as you’re criticizing my “mistake” you’re making lots of your own. You don’t add periods to lists like that, and you even forgot one. Spelt is a the archaic form of the past participle of spell.
1
@jaswik2023 you idiots need to be more specific than saying “that”. There are 170 comments in this thread and like two dozen to me. To answer your questions: because it doesn’t need to. The Tesla-bot’s job isn’t to run and obstacle or hold a dance recital.
1
@ohko3892 having an argument about what is instead of some construct is important. How else are we going to actually have a productive conversation about something if we’re not actually talking about it?
1
Tesla invented the alloy that allowed for the gigacastings and IDRA are still working with Tesla.
1
You should watch Tesla’ AI day because they’re going beyond that.
1
I’m not sure I would say they’re late. Elon always sets ridiculous time lines that were never going to be met, but SpaceX and Tesla do things faster than anyone else in their industry.
1
No, just making cars has been profitable for a while now
1
Landing on Mars is easier than both of those, and 80% of the technology needed to land and live on the moon is applicable to Mars.
1
Depends on what planet you’re on.
1
That is some creationists level of bs.
1
@BobPagani a week ago at their AI day, where Elon dropped the news they’re going to develop robots.
1
@jcd-k2s yeah, answering questions is much easier, which is why you’re phone can do it. Tesla’s self driving is already safer than humans in most circumstances, and with training, it’s going to be far more capable than any AI.
1
@nguyenhongquang6397 it’s a lot less than 5%. Also, I’ve been put in the hospital because of bad human driving and know the statistics, so I don’t hold humans up as a great standard. Moreover, Tesla’s self driving is learning and fast.
1
@jcd-k2s the perfect driver would never have an accident, which is an irrational standard when better than human is a huge improvement in safety. FSD is already safer than humans, except in rare edge cases, so I’m going to have call bull on that 50 mile claim without some kind reliable source. Tesla never claimed their AI was finished, nor have I. The whole point of dojo is for them to train the AI and not have to go in and add code. Moreover, I don’t think the cars can tell the difference between hazards, so you’re idea wouldn’t work.
1
@durshurrikun150 no, they’re on their phones, don’t check their mirrors, ignore stop signs, etc.
1
@durshurrikun150 no, they’re not.
1
Because instead of different administrations getting rid of the last plan and starting all over along with the manned space program being run to keep the contractors doing things.
1
He has one dozens. You just willfully ignore them so you can keep indulging in your spite.
1
After having watched the video, I’m still waiting for the debunking.
1
@randomname4726 show just one thing that doesn’t have a long developmental history
1
That’s far from pointless. It makes the Cybertruck lighter and cheaper. Not doing that kind of thing is why the Hummer EV weighs 10,000 pounds
1
Mars One went bankrupt a few months ago.
