  7. The oil price cap was touted by Janet Yellen U.S. Sec. Of Treasury, so it's European and U.S. price cap. It won't be individual countries that will protect shipments (Except for most Asian countries and Russia). These will be joint ventures for like minded countries if the U.S. takes a back seat, however this will be difficult for the U.S. to justify as there will be no reduction in its Navy and yet it's role is going to be more than halved in the future, similar with all its military!?!

As a European we are doing reasonably well, our politicians however are far removed from our scrutiny and we are getting clobbered by secret and most probably illegal deals (Like ESG) to enable big corporations and minorities to "control" us without any checks or balances for the majority to pursue if we fall foul of their "ideals", majority rules bought back, more referendums on big issues!?!

If Russia uses the first nuclear strike against a country with no nuclear weapons then the game changes, Hawks will be in and Doves will be out in the West it will go into "proper" war footings, because it shows Russia has intent, the West assumes that nobody wants to use nuclear, if someone does then all bets are off, the threat is not a remote possibility it is a "in your face" fact, there is no stepping back from that, otherwise it will continue!?!

  38. ​ @youarewrong5523  A 31 Trillion trade deficit is not ideal, but you are correct in pointing out that the US is more than capable of servicing that debt, it would not be able to transfer that debt to other countries as you suggest as the dollar would no longer be the world's reserve currency, the US would have to sell assets and such like if the situation required it. However it can be noted that total Chinese debt is 57 Trillion USD so they have a larger problem than the US and they are not the reserve currency!?!

Well last century Germany and Russia didn't want to play ball, and this century Germany has sort of changed it's ways and it's just Russia who don't want to play ball, even though Germany professed by buying their energy Russia would improve, instead it funded the war in Ukraine by the Russians, so that doesn't work, being part of a bigger defensive network in Europe does and not trading with Autocratic Countries to dependency levels, and for Germany that is China also!?!

  48.  @yopyop3241  We will be the biggest European economy by 2030, Germany the E.U. banker is running out of cash and labour by then, so no deal, NFTA at any price also no deal, Russia and North Korea can survive on their own , I'm pretty sure we can, we produce 85% of our own food at present, will be majorly Renewable by 2030 on energy and still have services and industry to export wherever. If it was left up to Germany to bully the Baltics and Nordics in Europe (Following their Russian energy debacle), Ukraine might have already been in Russia's hands, U.K. galvanised European support, and a big shout out to U S. and the Wider West!?!

Yes, he assumes that China or the West will take out Iran, but that seems highly unlikely, and the Saudis are unable to do it themselves, it is more likely to be Saudis and Iran make some sort of peace or Saudis and/ or Israel attack Iran, I am not sure which way it will go, but there will be more shenanigans to follow!?!
