  10.  @daseapickleofjustice7231  The Worldometer statistics did not show Sweden's per capita death rate as higher than in other countries, but having said that, COVID statistics are not as reliable as they should have been. The US was conflating actual COVID deaths with deaths where COVID was not the chief cause but at most a contributing factor. If Sweden (or Japan) had an undercount, I would not be shocked. New York state also had a lot of deaths in nursing homes that in retrospect look like gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional.
