I recently rewatched Fight Club and the emptyness of the main character in the beginning, where he's trying to find fulfillment by buying the just right combo of trendy furniture that 'defines him' for his condo that no one ever sees because he has no friendships or attachments, and I look around today and see EVERYONE, including me, acting EXACTLY like that. It's actually terrifying. Young women seem to be doing that, selecting men based on a matrix of options and checked boxes that form some complex mosaic that 'defines them', when they should be looking for someone who defines themselves by being a good, protective, providing man to them.

  8. Man, last weekend I volunteered to put on the theme-park-grade mascot costume of a club I belong to's drug awareness elk and rode in the parade. It was a great time, but what I didn't expect as a single, 39 years old childless lifelong somewhat-introvert was the blast of dopamine I got from having all the little kids along the parade route pointing at me and cheering and waving, that was so cool. I had to remind myself 'They can't see you under this giant elk head lol, you don't HAVE to smile', and I realized I'm not trying to smile, I'm actually having a great time, I can't stop smiling, wave more at the kids lol. I'll definitely do it again.

I've lived with people who grew up under Sharia, they told me stories of going to jail for speaking to a woman on the street that wasn't family or his wife. You get snatched up and black bagged into a van for that shit in Saudi. Don't delude yourself that living under religious authoritarianism is better than feminist authoritarianism. That's like saying being ruled by communists is better than being ruled by nazis...it's both just as bad, unfortunately.

  17. One thing I've learned from hundreds of TTF videos is that apparently I'm SuperChad, because I'm an adult lol. I'd talk to a woman, ask her out with a plan, show up early, have fun, and from these videos that's like princess treatment lol. I'd treat a stranger like that, no big deal, just a normal person lol. Women must need to do better.

  39. I'd say this: We've been living together for 8 years with zero kids, so I'm still on the fence about if she even actually likes me or wants to get married. Marriage is solely for starting a family, which only happens with kids. If she wants me enough to have my kids I'll marry her. It's all her choice.

  43. Yes, the comment about coasting...isn't the whole point of a relationship that it makes life easier, less effort, because it's two people combining their resources and talents and efforts? Or is that just me lol? If one gets less out of a relationship than they put in, if it's a negative in your life, a losing investment, why have it? It would be like a sport where you can run solo, or you can run with a partner but with a partner you get a penalty of this 50lb weight vest and you have 10 seconds added to your time, now go out there and win! Everyone would choose that race solo, and you'd never see a team of two win. But, if that same event was a relay, where you could tag in or out your partner through the race while the other rests, in most cases they'd dominate solo competitors who have to run the whole race.

  49. If they were married within a church community, and I've seen this happen, he would go to the pastor and tell him, she's BOOTED for violating her vows before the church. A famous video about that went around about a year ago, woman cheats on husband and divorces him, he tells his pastor, next thing she's getting a letter trespassing her from the church, and she got fired by the church member who owned her employer, SHUNNED by everyone they knew, while the church RALLIED around and supported the wronged husband. As it should be.
