The profit motive aka the ability to make money off of consumers who have exchangeable currency given to them by owners of capital, would cease to be a factor in this instance. The material available to make a chair is socially owned and used according to need. Like a neighbor you know making a chair for you and not expecting money in return, only on a mass scale. Ppl produce what is needed/demanded based on what is realistically possible. And what it realistically possible grows as technology advances and coordination improves to meet said demand/need more easily.

It's an undeniable truth and an objective fact that we are limited in what we can produce based on the labor available, the necessary time to participate and the breadth of resources at our disposal. The sale may be subjective in comparison to other companies extracting their own resources in their area with their ability to do so but the objective ability to do must be taken into consideration. The more difficult it is to extract, the fewer ppl who can extract it, the more expensive it'll be. That's not subjective because it's entirely dependent on objectively existing limitations.

Mortgage/rental assistance, Investment in building housing, limit ownership of residential property to two properties, revoking mandatory minimum parking laws, enforce wages to be tied to productivity by law, fight for labor unions, enforce immigration laws strictly, forbid foreign ownership of land, institute a land value tax, a single layer healthcare system, nationalize the pharmaceutical industry and; universal basic income. Oh an acquisition tax which minimizes merges and business acquisitions. This is a society I wanna live in.

  8.  @eliserss9179  I am talking specifically about social conservatism. I advocate for a socially conservative society and an economy that supports it. Capitalism in my view is antithetical to socially conservative values as it prioritizes greed, lust, envy, sloth and gluttony.

  10. Dude. Youtube will not allow me to comment! This will be the fourth time now I've had to try and type this. Integration is not a two way street. I repeat NOT. That immigrant/refugee came here. Is employed here, lives here, drives on the roads we paid for here, gets his/her food here. They integrate to our way of life. The burden is on them, not us. You have no right to force yourself into another country and demand it bend over backwards for you. Get on board or get out of rhe way.

  11.  @TheYolo20  I agree that the government should provide immigrants which have been accepted, language courses, history classes and the values prevalent in that particular country. But some can't assimilate. Their values and their their cultural/ethnic background simply won't allow it. As for Capitalism benefiting from immigration, it's a key reason that immigration should be highly restricted. But even in socialist society, displacement, division, taking of jobs, lack of housing, etc with still be a problem. Immigrants have almost never been a net benefit to local populations throughout history. That's simply a fact. People can visit and travel to other countries and experience other cultures. But long term? Stay put. We have settled our respective territories and they should not be infringed. Also I vehemently disagree with your belief that a community cannot claim land for themselves and exclude others. I'm opposed to private ownership of land. Not communal. And no, I don't mean "Global community" as there is no such thing as a "global community" no matter how much internationalist idealists claim otherwise. I think telling people that they and their cultural history don't have a right to particular place/region of land is disgusting. To force yourself into them is colonialism, gentrification and displacement. Do so at your own risk.

A private individual who demands payment for you to fish on his "property"? Who will teach you to fish so you can have the skills to do so? Oh you gotta pay an arm and a leg to gain those skills? Woops. Now that you spent so much money learning how to fish are you able to have access to the resources necessary to do so? Bait, net, pole, boat, nearby water source etc. No? Well then you wasted all that time and money for nothing. Not to mention not everyone shows fish for themselves. Labor specification exists for a reason. Not everyone can be a fisherman. Not everyone can be a shoemaker. Not everyone can be a city planner. There will be diversity of skills and knowledge. It's necessary for an interdependent and cooperative society. What Durkheim referred to as "organic solidarity".

  21. Human nature absolutely exists outside cultural norms. If anything, human nature inspires certain cultural norms. But thats just it... Humans are a social species. Don't you think that might put some validity to the "social" in the "ism"? Why conservatives (of which i tend to agree with more than progressives) can't make that same connection im not sure. "Bureaucratic collectivism" is absolutely a factor is the collapse of the Soviet Union. The state becoming essentially a series of self stifling capitalist enterprises led to its collapse. Along with the foreign demand of military spending to keep up globally. Then there is the political corruption which led to worker revolts.

We have different strengths, weaknesses, values, worth, dedication, predilections and proficiencies. Not only that but I refuse to take anyone seriously who claims to be a socialist and fight for such an abstract notion like equality or freedom. These are ideas. I don't care about ideas. I care about truths, material conditions and what is or isn't functional. That's all. Freedom is not only a lie, it doesn't exist. Freedom to do what? Freedom from what? What are we talking about here? Freedom to exploit? Freedom to be irresponsible? Freedom to turn our back on our family, our community, our work? We have obligations, duties and roles we must all fulfill. Some of us are gearheads, others are planners, some are caretakers, others are electricians. Some smarter than others. Some more willing than others. Some people are harder working than others. Some are more lazy and manipulative than others. When people have too much free time on their hands they do dumb shit. We need purpose and meaning in life. Gender roles among other things like work and family supply that.

And the idea that gender doesn't have a major influence on our actions, proclivities and interests is such a braindead take I don't even know how to respond to such ignorance. When you advocate for feminism or it's associated beliefs you are destroying the family whether intentionally or otherwise. Family is the bedrock of society and social planning, not individuals. You seem to focus on the freedom of the individual. I don't care about that. That's what I'm saying. You find it oppressive to be in a monogamous relationship where two people have different but equally important roles. I don't, as i recognize it for what it is, a superior way to exist and live. Many women are putting off kids until they are too old or are likely to have birth defects. More and more put their careers first. This is bad as it doesn't contribute to the functionality of the family dynamic. The more people hookup the less they are mentally capable of being satisfied in a relationship and relied on not to screw it up. The vast majority of divorces are initiated by women. You think that's not a problem?

  35. Technically, a minority of Muslim individuals are or support terrorism. Comparatively however, Islam is responsible for more terrorist attacks globally than any other religion. White people make up 69% of the U.S population and make up 65% of the terrorist acts, typically by individuals acting alone. Yet 13% are committed by middle eastern immigrants, typically not acting alone. The MEI population in America is less than 1% yet it constitutes 13% of terrorist acts. That's disproportionately high, Hakim. Ironically, I sympathize with Islamic values because it is rather conservative and so am I.

  39. What's embarrassing for me as conservative is I actually understand what socialism and it's varieties are. I have found that my desire for a more communitarian economy requires a communitarian based social structure. This requires conservative values. Though I believe different communities should have their own values and exist homogeneously while trading with nearby communities.

  41. ​​ @StephenGleason0 but it's rational for a capitalist to use his wealth to lobby policies in government that will benefit his business at the expense of others for the sake of personal profit and increased market share. And without government capitalists can't exist because who will recognize or grant anyone's right to private property? Then it will a market of all against all where the "strongest" aka those with the greatest ability to protect what is theirs, will rule. They will rule until an angry mob reacts to said concentration of wealth or those angry mob members get defeated and now there is no more consumer base and no more labor.

Though it obviously should be a criminal offense to be homosexual or bisexual. I just find it disgusting and perverted. As for xenophobic, that's merely the fear of others.
