@King Love would also maybe be to explain why we are in danger of such wrath, to begin with, and what role two semi ignorant humans in Eden could POSSIBLY have played in it? Or whatever Satan was owed, post exile.
Without that, there is no - truth. And see Romans 8:30, and Matthew 7:14, too.
Define also 'gone out of their way'? Did Pope Paul III go 'out of his way' and what response, divinely, did that provoke? Or Torquemada?
Or several kings and more, within ostensibly Christian nations?
Meantime, we see that - wrath - on display in 2 Samuel 24. And there, David WAS REPENTANT, even if we do not know if the 70,000 Hebrews who then paid a penalty for his actions, were.

@tinkerinjones6604 Err, so giving us a SIN NATURE before, birth, by what AN IGNORANT, human, did, hastily - this is nothing, like, programming, a robot, yes? or 'spiritual death', whatever the HECK that is. Can any ANGEL, give, or pass that - to another?
And why did He SCATTER all humans, post Babel, when they were finally, ready, to all be taught? Give Satan ANOTHER head start, was it?
Still not forgetting Romans 9:22, here, eiiitherrr...

@naria2224 Qualify it, then - 'not necessarily' isn't good enough, here. And ordinary peasants and other people, and Africans, had FAR LESS free will, choices, options, or safety, than wealthy or closeted clerics, translators, kings, priests, Popes, and bishops - all of who, could DEMAND they go to war, for them, often against each other, and those who were essentially believing the same thing as them, too. And not even get to READ all the bible, in their own language, instead having it 'interpreted' to them - complete with Augustine's, own, unique take on 1 Corinthians 10, perhaps, and the word 'typoi', as well, as applied to Jews.
Jews, then, within Christendom, frequently denied many basic rights and safeties, driven out, forcibly converted, tortured, mobbed, or having synagogues and Torahs burned, or caught up in pogroms, etc, etc. It's rather a LOT, to blame, just on free will, isn't it?
Doesn't this God find some things DETESTABLE? And is willing to make that VERY clear, in writing if you were an ancient Hebrew? Or if you gathered sticks, on Sabbath? Seemed very... invested, in those cases, perhaps disproportionately, so.
And what has free will got to do with letting TWO IGNORANT humans in Eden, 'chose' for if we inherit a sin nature, or be born 'spiritually dead', either - in ways no angel could ever 'chose' for other angels?
Also, there are a number of Old Testament verses, that mitigate somewhat against the idea of us fully controlling our will. Maybe, though, that is not so, for the... elect...
