  8. Really mad about the moving to another City comment. Everyone is moving to Seoul? No a disproportionate number of people may live there. The reason Seul let’s people marry in the park is so people have kids. They all have college that wanted college, clothes, food, access to medical care and a job. Tell me exactly how that is poverty and misery? They even have trip money once a month. The kidnapper family is poor only in relation to what they were when dad had the business and they had a stand alone house. I think all need to buy back the dad’s family country house, live in it and gain perspective. Korea is funny whenever it comes to success and struggle. They would all be happier in Busan or New Sejong City. Why can’t dramas do other cities more? Let’s eat 2 was okay, but not as good as the first. The cab guy got distracted during the one news cast. Noticing the trunk was weeks later. He didn’t see what was in the bag. The audience saw. Anchor brother was more a monster than the killer. Good movie and actors to leave them impression on the audience. I feel bad for the main girl. She did what she was told by landlady and neighbor, threaten since late in the rent. I don’t think she knew at first about the noise. Further she could have IDd the guy anyway. She just could maybe say she heard it was loud in the next room. What was amazing was she called it during that interview when the person asked her what the police should do about the serial murders happening. She said protect the witnesses. Look what happened.. the scene where she was with the headphones crying and the noise next door was powerful. At what point did she realize I could not tell. I thought she was somehow going to be a suspect because of the noise complaint, loved they twisted the story.

They didn’t adopt a child legally that should never have been placed. They took a child they found, cut her hair, used dead daughters ID and took her out of the country. Human trafficking for pity sakes. They held onto her when it was discovered for their own benefit. How could parents who lost a child through death not find that child’s parents, how could they keep the daughter when the rich mom showed up on their door. Their fall from their own wealth was the universe punishing them for their crime, it’s a start. It’s like what planet are you from. Why is the wronged family giving the kidnapper of their kid money instead of throwing them in prison?

  25. A child they kidnapped. Liked doesn’t work this way. Even they felt odd taking the financial windfall, she isn’t even getting hourly but quit the franchise. In the writers mind they innocently took this girl in. Not in the eyes of this viewer. To be clear I really do like the series. I actually think the dad might have been more responsible than mom for the taking of Eun Seok.

  36.  @eva2269  noise complaint is a big issue in Korea. They put everyone in high density living. You know seniors blast the tv and talk loud cause of hearing issues. There was a building show about renovating abandoned properties in Seoul and I think that is the best option. I do wish since they build lovely modern apartments in Seoul and have for a good 20 years it would be a given all the apartments of that age had proper soundproofing. Even the vacuum cleaner produces too many decibels. Could you imagine being a young mother and constantly getting such complaints. No wonder so many are done after one child. Makes the short baby stage less fun that is truly is. Even with single family homes neighbors make a way to irritate each other.

  37. This drama is awful. Just a recycle of other terrible series. This could be so much better than it is. The acting is bad. The writing is bad. Nothing believable. Cruelty to kids. Where is Bom? All the kidnapping? Why was this ever more than 16 episodes? I hope the next drama set to take its time slot isn't the same recycled mess as this, first love again, promise and two mothers. Laurel Tree Taylor, Five Children and My Father is Strange are so much better.

  43. I really liked it. It really showed the cyclical nature of crime. It also showed people having pieces of the clues but not being able to realize it. I really felt for all the victims. Especially the 7/11 guy. The established brother anchor guy was worse than the younger brother. It was a very different storyline.

  45. The problem is the husband failed her and the son is the retirement plan in Korea. With the way cost of living has gone up no way a person could save enough to live on without relying on an income worker into their old age. Mandatory retirement is young in Korea with most having to open and run some sort of business in their golden years.
