  4.  @ChinaUnvarnished  If one is very wealthy, they would have private care with dedicated nurses and doctors, and can likely live in their home. What is needed in advance planning, and setup a process while they are in full control of their capacity. Once can easily set up a trust to pay for care for as long as they live, and set up a second trust to ensure the care is appropriate such as having outside medical evaluators come monthly, have a trusted attorney to oversee the trusts, and also pay past friends to visit and drop by. Once you have severe dementia, nothing really matters at that point, as your brain is gone, and it's just a living meat sack/zombie at that point.

And guess what, you are alive, and survived that one date. In this situation, the mother was only trying to encourage her to go on a blind date... no big deal. She can say no. As for other people pressuring someone... that's their own fault for not standing up for themselves by saying very firmly, and loudly, that they don't want their "help". If they don't have the backbone to stand up for themselves, I'm certainly not going to by sympathetic. I suspect the woman only made the video because she wanted to go on the blind date, but was just ashamed it took her mother to find one for her. Now, having given her baised one sided view, she can go on that date, and if it fails, blame her mother... and not herself.

If these woman find that unicorn man that meets all their conditions, eventually, they will leave that man for 1) a dream of finding someone better; or 2) cheat on him, and leave him. The key is finding the right woman... one who prioritizes family, loyalty, being nice, and compromise. The other side is those who are vain, materialistic, demanding, and deceitful are ones to avoid (or you can "rent" them for a short period of time if you have the money).

She wanted to go back to school to be a nurse, which should've taken no more than three or four years since she already had a bachelors and master's degrees. But she quickly found that watching Tik ToK and order food was a better life than working. Him knowing all this, still married her, and put her name on the house deed.

The reality is that they lowered their standards to catch a man... but over time, it might be a while, or it might be soon after marriage... she will revert back to her baseline nature, of being demanding, and condescending. These older women are set in their ways... and will be extremely difficult to change. Eventually, she will get angrier and more unhappy because in her mind, she had to "settle"... and will eventually divorce.
