Most Kamikaze pilots survived as they were shot down and taken prisoner by American Sailors

George Allen in the same way US was able to supply its forces to Iraq and Afghanistan, far from the homefront and in hostile territory, any superpower able to invade the US would have similar capabilities. This fictional supperpower would have no need for the American grid, and would not be starving as you claim. The grid would be something they’d target to sow chaos. Furthermore it’s unlikely that your average American gun owner can function apart from society. Most Americans get their water and power from utilities and without these, there’s no guerrilla movement. US civilians don’t have the skills that guerrillas like the Viet Cong and Taliban had.
1
Kuro Usagi you can call that socialism. But I caution you to not generalize or apply this to other nations.
1
Warped Gecko Venezuela has corruption and hyperinflation, those aren’t socialist problems
1
US sanctions have no bearing on agriculture. Russia is being sanctioned, do you see starving Russians? Clearly US sanctions aren’t the problem.
1
Pickled Sausages Venezuela can produce bread and corn, there’s plenty of land to grow food, there always has been. Chavez and Maduro have caused this crisis by setting price ceilings on food. Wow, suddenly nobody wants to make food. And on top of that the nation is corrupt and causes things like blackouts. US sanctions only amount to so much.
1
North Koreans think a women will be given easier treatment on a world stage. I think they are correct, populists are easily swayed by stereotypes
1
Jim Johnson I live in Massachusetts go to college and vote Democrat
1
Denon Servo I live in Massachusetts I dislike civilians owning guns and don’t think gun owners are any match for a real war
1
Helen Bell my point was civilians are always outmatched by professional militaries.
1
Nick Call This proves that the 2nd Amendment is not relevant to defend the country from an invasion. It’s the military, police, and smart politics that kept the US safe
1
asteinmann I am not pro China I support Western globalism and civil rights for all. But I am against delusions of 2nd Amendment types who think they will repel anyone
1
Christa Lorenz Free I am American but it’s funny reading nutty theories by uneducated people who think they will die fighting an imaginary war. They are delusional
1
Not Normal uneducated. Millions of Vietnamese died fighting the US. Do you want millions of Americans to die fighting foolish guerrilla tactics? Think
1
SamuraiAtlas TSM that’s a fantasy ignoring real life. Who’s gonna fund these Red Dawn style rebels? What are they going to eat? Where are they gonna live? Are American gun owners prepared to die in huge numbers to fight an invasion? Doubtful
1
Big bobby H the Taliban are weak but they are enduring. And unlike Amerifat gun owners they know how to be a threat to other militaries and live off the grid. They are actual guerrilla fighters and Amerifats with guns don’t compare
1
@americanpatriotism1776 not simple at all, real life is not Call of Duty
1
Desu Vult Where is the proof? I found no evidence

INSECT BITE - An article by Vanityfair cites a Trump official who stated Trump allowed and wanted the Coronavirus to spread in coastal liberal states, as it would embarrass the Democrats ruling there. Trump has blood on his hands, and I hate him for it. Trump is the reason why US has highest rate of COVID-19 deaths worldwide, and hasn’t flattened the curve unlike in Europe. This recession, 200,000 dead, and billions spent on relief, are all Trump’s fault due to his willful negligence.
1
INSECT BITE - where is the proof that Democrats support China?
1
Joseph Fujioka Not possible since Congress passes taxes, pretty sure
1
fuji808 _ Biden if he became president, cannot raise income taxes
1
fuji808 _ That is a false dichotomy. The OECD reports that the US spends the most % of GDP on healthcare of any developed nation, in spite of the fact that healthcare is not universal. This is because there is too much deregulation and for profit bloat, which Medicare and Medicaid pay for. Healthcare would be cheaper if the US passed sweeping regulations on the drug and other such industries, and then made healthcare universal
1
Blaming socialism for Venezuela’s problems is naive. Hyperinflation has happened to other countries, it’s not unique to socialism.
1
Colonel Stalin there’s no tropical equator on a flat earth model. Real life Greenland is cold because the Earth is both round and tilted.
1
Not everyone who enters Supermax has a life sentence. So rehabilitation is the goal.
1
@ lobbying might be problematic, but it is much much more clean than bribery. Nobody is making money off lobbying besides spending it for campaigning. Lobbyist aren’t giving politicians gifts or money generally, that is still very much illegal and strictly enforced. They’re giving them money for campaigning and getting elected. So it’s not personal enrichment. That’s what makes it far less sinister.
1
This is a joke right? American gun owners are untrained, overweight, and have no means to survive outside off the grid in a drawn out war.
1
Nope
1
He should’ve sought a pardon from the governor.
1
Waltiswicked yes he is not smart
1
Vladislav the military doesn’t kill civilians in any significant amount
1
@williewilson2250 you make no sense to me
1
@verdebusterAP where is the proof that the 2A has ever mattered in a modern war? Waiting...
1
@davidsalinas676 Pearl Harbor was not an invasion though as no troops landed
1
MFromThaWOOD Show How can a bot argue with such intelligence as mine? Even I cannot create such fine code
1
@tfcjon where is the reasoning to support this nonsense? Why would Yamato fear armed American 4Fs and women?
1
@gorilladisco9108 The ROC was weak and easier to invade than the US. The US was developed and more powerful than the ROC. There is zero proof that the 2A had anything to do with deterring a Japanese invasion of the US or the Lower 48.
1
MFromThaWOOD Show you know it is Putinist Russia that supports the NRA right? Remember the spies they sent in the Trump era? They support the NRA because they know gun rights hurts the US.
1
@eane1275 dude it was reported by the news multiple times how the Kremlin under Putin wanted to build ties to the NRA. Kremlin bots also spread pro-NRA and mass shooting conspiracy theories online, proof that enemies want gun rights because they are known to hurt the US
1
@gustini2146 of course Russia knows US Gun rights are bad for the US. why else would Russia, a hostile regime, support Trump and the NRA?
1
@GFWoodchuck I want you to re read your comment and ask if it makes sense. Then I want you to delete it. Thank you, and vote Democrat
1
@espada9 in 1938 the US had a large economy and a large population, this is what Yamamoto was afraid of. He was not afraid of civilians armed with guns. He was aware, correctly, that the US was a superpower beyond Japan’s strength.
1
@Meinan4370 lol equating untrained and unfit civilians to professional soldiers. Are you serious
1
@101mazz even more dumb is a fool who ignores decades of data across dozens of developed nations. Gun control saves
1
@mappsmappings4025 what you said makes no sense, is unproven, and doesn’t pertain to gun rights at all
