  2.  @jecka021  Without supplies I doubt they can stay forever ;) I doubt they have a plan other then "no step back". They are exactly like Germany now in 1945. Heading towards full on defeat, they know it, I know it, maybe you know it. Russians just have to be more patient then in 1945 and save their troops. Victory is theirs for the grabs.

  6.  @redraptor9688  Well in WWII a single MG with like 3 Germans stopped whole French division ;) Its probably small units fighting. Like company sized. Also once guys under bridge loose few pp they may get replacements and whole thing just continues. This war is "low on soldiers". I.e. very few troops, from both sides.

  7.  @UzumakiNaruto_  Well, UA losses are between 3x to 5x as high as DPR / LPR.... so I see UA forces as cannon fodder. Russia taken losses but nothing major. No one mentions Russia eliminating 20 ammo dumps a day. But if Ukraine takes 1 (One) out it makes the news ;) Russia has won this war and is in full control. They can slow it down or speed it up. Ukraine is there to watch the progress they can do nothing about.

  8. There is little more Ukraine can mobilize. Certainly not 5 million, maybe few hundred thousand if they push women hard. Russia can easily match by mobilizing another 300k. Heck, maybe Russia should mobilize 300k now to have numbers advantage.

"class act to be proud of devastating a country and acts of genocide" - are you talking about Ukraine? "medieval mindset" - at least its not "dark ages" mindset of Kiev Nazi. Russia is not paying for any rebuilding of Ukraine - if Ukraine does not disintegrate first. Also the total frozen assets amount to around 300B not 600B.

  19. Ukraine needs at least 60 IFV per month in defense. Let that sink in. At least 30 tanks. Over 30 artillery systems. Plus we'll over 100 other vehicles. This is just to prevent total collapse.

  21.  @daffyduck780  I doubt they can repair a lot in just 10 days. I think its a mixture of new targets and old targets that are important. You can see how long it takes to fix power grid issues in US or in Canada. If Ukraine could do it in just 10 days they would be like way faster than US.

  25.  @zbigniewmulinski5982  Think of the future, I agree. In the near future the special military operation will end. At this point Ukraine can pick peace or war. It is widely believed they will pick war and Russia will be forced to remove current Ukrainian government. Russia will annex territories that will make future puppet Ukrainian state weak. Once that is done even if puppet falls it will not matter much. Russia does not need to pay a single ruble - who is it to force it. Besides, the future belongs to the BRICS not to the western international court. So the west is in no position to make any demands. Finally Russia already ignored multiple times judgments from this court which west invented to judge. In the future this will be seen as a joke. I envision a future international court that will be used to force US and allies to pay war repatriations to Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and many others.

Why Russia moved so many troops out - why no heavy attacks in Donbass after Severdoneck offensive? Its like the suddenly stopped. Dima said "front is collapsing" like 100 times and nothing.

I am not saying money will not come, but I doubt full 60B will be approved. All republicans need to do is delay the money - even for few months - by that time it will be very hard to justify any spending given rather rapid UA collapse. Plus imagine political win points against Biden - the looser of many wars.

  41. How can Russia see Su-24 unless they have Awacs in the air. Maybe that should be Russian idea. But west will see with it's drones the Awacs emissions and warn Ukrainians. As for Poland theory out of question. Imagine someone taking photo or video. Also too far, come on Dima.

  42.  @Hereford1642  It feels like Russia has now less then 50k deployed in Ukraine. It also feels like the 3rd "Core" is missing in action - I do not see them deployed anywhere. I have no clue as to what Russia's game plan is - it feels they are changing objectives yet again after Kiev. Well, time will tell.

  43.  @Hereford1642  People do not understand the difference between RUSSIA and DPR / LPR / everyone else. There are 20/25k or more troops in about 150km or more of Kherson front. There are at least 50k in Donbas front. There are another 25k in Zaporozia front. And max 25k in Kharkiv front - or much less - as we are seeing now. Total Russian troops is around 50k. Add above and see how many "other troops" there are.

  48. Let's say Ukraine crosses river in kherson region. So what? Russia will attack their supply routes and force them to go back or surrender. Also flooded terrain is as bad for defender as for attacker. Besides, Russians can just blow up southern dam.
