Nonsense. Russia must be soundly defeated and impoverished to stop their imperial war of aggression. Their (your?) Tsar, Putin the Small only has to leave Ukraine to stop the war. 🇷🇺🤡 Alternatively they can stay in Ukraine and improve the soil. 🌻💀🌻 Slava Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇬🇧

Yeah, war has returned to Europe and will account for a sizable percentage of GDP going forward. So that's a plus. 😢 I don't see Russia stopping in the next decade. They'll just keep pushing and pushing until they run out of enough manpower. I really don't think that the russian people will effectively mobilize until their losses are at least an order of magnitude greater than today and even then they may not stop Russian imperial expansion. In their history as far as I know the people have only ever risen up once and that did not stop their expansion at all. There's only one thing that can stop their expansion, which is fragmentation and then the whole bloody cycle starts again. Germany should be working on robot soldiers, which make robot soldiers - Robot Wars? God help us all.

😂👍

@JosepeSchmoe Spot on - these are hard times for most people and many have little hope. Look after yourself.
1
@secretname4190 Are you Russian?
1
I'm pretty sure that it can now be described as a Failed State.

@khalidalali186 More.

India will in due course be no bed of roses either as their demographics are starting to show declines too. We shall have to see though as this problem is further off and may change. The Indian economy has many advantages over China for sure and India is politically more compatible with the West which really helps.
1
I personally think that they will come online quick enough. The world economy is trending down and so will energy demand for a bit.
1
Repeat after me: "It's only a decade away. It always has been and always will be a decade away."

The dashboard in a Tesla is a display centered between the two front seats, correct? Is that better than the traditional location in front of the driver?

Mexico's problems run far, far deeper than mere transport issues and it's very questionable if most are at all fixable.
1
@hpp2021 Um, drug cartels running huge chunks of the country for starters. Next, the implications of those drugs on the population of the USA. The links between Mexican drug cartels and Chinese pharmaceutical and chemical companies, and remember all but the smallest Chinese companies have employees who report directly to the CCP. Do I need to go on?
1
@Urgelt Exactly. But which president are you referring to? The US President or the President of Mexico?
1
@Urgelt I have heard that the new Mexican President (I can't recall her name) is basically going to continue the last ones policies - so no changes going forward.
1
It doesn't matter what they say. If China tries (because they don't stand a chance) to invade or even just attack Taiwan - it's war. If China is stupid enough to attack the US then it's WW3. We know it and they know it. It's up to them. Simple.

A genuine question: Can Georgia and Turkey cooperate in the long run as Erdogan is favouring Islamists? I thought that Georgia was Christian? It's hard to keep track. Thanks. 👍
1
He shouldn't be doing videos at all.
1
So by your calculations this 2% will result in approximately 20 million direct fatalities. In addition this increased burden on their healthcare system will also generate additional morbidity. These deaths will be totally pointless as they could easily have used Western vaccines which work. Incredible.
1
A different kind of bad. 🤣 God save the King.
1
Bye bye. 👋😜

@alens18 To be fair Europe will continue to buy military stuff too.

Correct, talk of invasion of Canada is just for the media circus, but it has worked, because we're still talking about it. The US could cut a separate deal for each Province. If Canada were to fracture the US could impose different tarriffs on each Province to put pressure on each one to join on favourable terms to the US. Also it would be possible to revalue the currency of each Province individually, much as how Germany running the EU valued each country's currency when joining the Euro currency union. This could help mitigate the cost to the US and bring capital north of the border. A debt to the US government could also be imposed on each Province. The demographic problems of Canada are possibly at a peak low currently before the Boomers pass, but I'm guessing here. Long term incorporating Canada and Greenland into the USA has merit, especially from a security position. If Québec decided to become independent I believe that this would increase the security risk. It may be possible, but it would likely be ugly as hell. It just depends on what the US and each Province wants. Interesting times.

Two can play that game!

In a major economic downturn, like I expect to happen for the next 5 to 10 years, immigration to the first world will almost stop. Jobs will be scarce and populations will not tolerate it. After that yes, maybe immigration will resume, but I wouldn't be surprised if an anti immigration mindset were to continue.
1
And Europe too.

@Rob_F8F 🤣👍

... but probably too late. 😢

@JinKee 🤦♂️

@JohnDoe-yo6sj Well said. I would very much welcome India being closer to the West. China can rot in hell though. Slava Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇬🇧

Yea, overconfidence is a common trait among geopolitical analysts. Take everything he says with a healthy pinch of salt. 🧂

Americans have a huge delusional blind spot when it comes to religions. The Founding Fathers came to America because they were persecuted for their religion so Americans say that all religions are good. They fail to appreciate that the Founding Fathers were religious extremist nut cases who today would be called a cult and shut down by the FBI. But they died off and their hero status remains. Give it time and when the USA experiences a home grown Isis or something similar and Americans may grow up, but I wouldn't hold my breath. You're right the core of this conflict is religion and there will never be a solution to that realistically. Slava Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇬🇧
1
It will not be up to the people. If any country decides to develop nuclear weapons then it will be done covertly and decided on at the highest level with very few politicians being in the loop simply because they couldn't be trusted to keep their mouths shut. You will know when Sweden, Finland, Poland, Romania and Lithuania have nuclear weapons when you have them. I seriously doubt if Germany will ever grow the balls to get nuclear weapons - it's also cheaper for them to hide behind Poland.
1
This will not stop. The sanctions would not stop if Russia went home tomorrow. Europe must become energy independent, there is no choice and it will take a decade. Germany needs a very severe recession, unemployment and it's people to go cold for a winter or two to kill their fairy tale Green party. Then they need to fast track maybe twenty nuclear reactors before they go broke.
1
@EvelynElaineSmith You hit the nail on the head. There is never a solution to religious wars. It's a very bad neighborhood. Personally I would move in a heartbeat.
1
@DezorianGuy There is no doubt that Russia is an extremely resilient country with a historically very loyal population, whether they like it or not, and shouldn't be underestimated. Some Western equipment with continue to operate, but for instance a Siemens, MAN or GE compressor will soon be scrap - try moving gas without one. As far as the oil sanctions are concerned India is turning away Russian tankers now and that is because of the US tightening banking sanctions in the UAE. Russia does definitely care about this.
1
They can't continue to go up. The cure for high prices is high prices.
1
@Vzzdak He wants the UK and France to join START2. Yea, good luck with that since the invasion. It ain't gonna happen. Also I suspect that any mothballed nukes in France and the UK will be rebuilt so that they can be operationally ready at short notice. Slava Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇬🇧
1
This is good news. 🤣
1
@williamkevinjames Because they are desperate to diversify their economy away from oil. Truth be told the region will never be able to do this and if the oil runs out or demand falls then these countries will fall apart. They can't accept this reality so will spend huge amounts, preferably of other people's money, to find a solution, but that won't matter one iota.

How long before my comment above about the facts of the numbers of the One Child Policy is deleted for telling the truth? 😐
1
Almost all European companies are social works programs.
1
@RRaymer Yet another comment of mine has been removed. 😐
1
Never have been, never will be.
1
Meh.
1
I hope that your Prime Minister has the sense not to go. China is an enemy of the West.
1
That I am certainly not doing. The Chinese government is absolutely the most murderous in history by a huge margin and that's before you count the 650 million forced abortions. I want the CCP to be assigned to history and as for the poor people, they support them 100% so they will suffer. Wake up the Russians and Chinese are our enemies.
1
This is probably the most likely, but least headline generating answer.
1
Possibly, perhaps even probably, but that doesn't mean that any current digital currencies will have any value beyond high tech speculation and if the Blockchain technology has value that doesn't mean that it's easy to monetize or invest in for you and me. Just my two Dogecoins. 😉 All the best.
1
@texasoilfields Good question. It's probably because Sweden has taken in far too many undesirable refugees from the region that they can't get rid of. They're now voters in Sweden and Swedish politicians, being politicians, will do anything to get those votes. Sweden, just like any country swamped with these people, is a mess now. Integration doesn't happen like in the USA and never will.
