Give it long enough and it is.

And all chemistry is just physics. Touché.

All presidents stand on the shoulders of those who came before them. Carter did some good things and not so good. Undeniably however - Carter was a weak president. ❤️🇺🇸❤️

@juniorjames7076 Stranger things have happened.

@JoeCole_social I just googled it. 😁

Russia. 1970s. Iran. Inspections? 🤣

Because it's not true. It's just Chinese propaganda.

@mysterioanonymous3206 And they were psychologically castrated after WW2.

How do you watch the forbidden YouTube behind the Great Firewall? 🤔

@thomasherrin6798 You are talking about a game, recreation, sport, pastime, etc.

When is this fantasy going to end?

😜👍

I've seen photos of the rail bridge supports. The railway is only open to light traffic. 😂

@jimmyjamsburner6944 Yup. It's a crying shame that the most prosperous nation on earth by a country mile is currently in incredible debt during peacetime. Why? It really makes no sense whatsoever. I know that the founding fathers detested debt. It's just a shame that they didn't come up with a method to limit it. Look after yourself man. 👍

@VinSeG My comment was deleted. 😐

Yup, Germany will be fine accepting ever increasing numbers of immigrants. You may not recognise it as Germany anymore though. Or worse, unrestricted immigration may lead to civil war across Europe. Do you know why there's so much tension in the Balkans?

Hello from Scotland my friend! Slava Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇬🇧

About a decade ago some mechanical engineering colleagues of mine visited an offshore wind farm and were allowed to inspect it. I don't recall the manufacturer. Long story short they concluded that those wind turbines would not last very long, about 10 years, 15 max. The manufacturer had a maintenance contract for 10 years and did the bare minimum while saying that they be good for 30 years. This is normal in this industry. Wind is never going to be a good solution despite what Peter said.

We don't. "N'interrompez jamais un ennemi qui est en train de faire une erreur." Napoleon Bonaparte "When your opponent is making a false move, it is wise not to disturb him." Slava Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇬🇧

Who will counter Russia? Without meaning to be insulting, Austria has been freeloading on its security since the end of WW2. Are things going to change now?
2
I see what you did there. 🤣
2
@robkafczyk2752 Did you have your sense of humour removed surgically? 😑
2
@robkafczyk2752 Have you not noticed that this whole thread is a joke? You were explaining a joke to someone. You must be fun at parties. 🤦🏻♂️ Forget it. Over and out.
2
With a little help from the UK maybe?
2
@farnarkleboy Legal immigration? Just a thought.
2
I think that the drop in the Pound can be squarely attributed to the budget being at odds with the actions of the BoE. The budget is politically populist, it could only be effective in the short term and burdens the UK with even more debt. It shows the ineptitude and irresponsibility of Truss and probably a complete lack of understanding how the current debt cycle will inevitably play out. This government's days are numbered.

🤞👍🇺🇦🇬🇧

It sounds like you need a new Prime Minister.

@magellannh645 Are grid scale batteries currently available?

0:40 Isn't it "most of the MEN don't work"?

@ianfromthephilippines It was a brilliant strategy to peel China away from the Soviet Union during the Cold War and hence entirely necessary. The delusion came afterwards when the West thought that by continuing China would abandon the CCP. It was after the fall of the Soviet Union that the vast majority of harm was done to Western industry. All the best.
2
@Ian-iu2tl Correct.
2
Because they can. Eventually they will accept a big enough bribe.
2
@janvesely3279 Do remember that 600GW is the maximum theoretical output and absolutely not the actual amount of electricity generated. EG a 1KW soar panel produces 0% of 1KW at night, the same solar panel when installed in Spain will probably provide 1KW, however if installed in Scotland will never produce 1KW, also a 1KW wind turbine will produce nothing when the wind stops. Also some countries, for instance Germany are EXTREMELY disingenuous with their reporting of renewable energy. All the best.
2
Even if the lights stay on in Europe the high cost of energy is going to tip the whole continent into recession. Recession = unemployment. Governments will have to help their people, which will have to be paid for by increased taxation. There's a global economic slowdown happening. A lot of countries are turning to the IMF. Do you think that people will buy more or less expensive cars like a Tesla given these circumstances? PS All government subsidies for cars, solar panels, etc are going to end too.

Don't rain on his doom parade. 🤫
2
What!?!? Are you saying that Communist Vietnam won't be an American manufacturing paradise? 🤯 It's like the USA is making the exact same mistake as continuing prioritising China after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Brother you couldn't make this up. 🤦🏻♂️🤣 All the best.
2
Russia and Germany are close, then at war, then close, then at war, then close, then at war, then close, then at war, then... get the picture? It's been ongoing since before the USA was a nation.
2
@RoboKubik8 Several car transporter ships catching fire may show problems with Chinese EVs.
2
Look up the UK's Ministry of Defence assessments of the war in Ukraine. Russians will say that it's propaganda, but it's probably the most realistic and accurate assessment of casualties. The numbers on both sides are horrifyingly large. All the best.
2
Wait. 4:45 Did Peter say Sweden was defeated (by Russia?) in UKRAINE!?!? 🤯 I really have to brush up on my Swedish and Central/Eastern European history. I really hope that Sweden join us soon like Finland has. 🇸🇪♥️ 🇫🇮♥️ Slava Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇬🇧
2
That would take a lot of Russian manpower, which they don't have.
2
@@Bob-lq6dtNo, no, no. Don't say that, he won't listen. Instead why not try "Oil is going to zero ⬇️ and your Tesla stock is going to the moon! ⬆️🌛" 🤣 Slava Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇬🇧

Yes, we have definitely entered an inflationary wage spiral, which was guaranteed once government employees got raises and will ultimately lead to devaluation of the currency. Unfortunately the reason that workers demanded raises is due to the cost of energy having increased, which the UK had little control over, which then increased food costs. Concurrently the US Federal Funds Rate was increasing and again this was outside the UK's control, however the Bank of England was in turn forced to raise rates to prevent currency flight. The average person who had a mortgage and renters are squeezed by this combination almost to breaking point. The net result of this inflationary wage spiral will only result in the UK being more costly and less competitive and the value of the Pound will be forced down. Many more will suffer from this than from the rate hikes which are temporary and the energy increases which we see are already coming down. The only upside, kind of, is that the economy is slowing and during the coming recession/depression those who have negotiated higher wages will probably get fired and re-employed at a lower rate, which will reset the needle quicker. Perhaps the only beneficiary may be the UK government whose debt will be eroded somewhat, though that will be offset by increased borrowing costs.

Peter has repeatedly stated that an invasion of Taiwan would probably result in a blockade of oil from the Middle East to China. Game over.
2
@prst99 The USA? India? Even better the world could just be too scared of sanctions from the US to trade with them. That would work brilliantly even if it was only 75% effective. Let's face it, the only reason that Russia is allowed to export oil is because Europe needs time to transfer to other suppliers. Then there's insurance. Do you know how much maritime insurance is handled by the West? What country in their right mind would let a tanker into their waters without insurance and no one would trust a Chinese insurer to pay up. Checkmate paper kitty.
2
@JohnnyAmerique Anti ship missiles in large quantities would certainly help Taiwan. Unfortunately Whinnie the Shit is so isolated and devoid of intel that he is a bit of a loose cannon and unpredictable. Fortunately he and China seem to be turning inwards which probably reduces the real threat to Taiwan.
2
@yuchoob 😜 No, it was a challenge. And he didn't have to learn to march. 👍
2
I would say that Libya is a more realistic option though.
