@nizrapoobksy1053 Спасибо, товарищ.

Naww. All those accusations were Republican compliments, remember? "Pussy grabber"? A crude attempt to round up the barstool vote. Bring on that SNL footage of Biden in the leather jacket in the yellow sports car...
1
Cj 316now CJ, You are swimming Kool-Aid. Even if there were an ounce of truth in your silly post, it would still be irrelevant: the Wuhan Covid19 virus arrived in the US from Europe (at a time when Trump was still denying it existed.) Direct from china was not the route, so ranting anti-Chinese nonsense has no relevance to the art of the disease -- quite apart from being just stupid racist propaganda.
1
@rickys6770 Положите трубку, товарищ Рики. Это слишком глупо для ваших обычных пяти копеек.
1
william kane That's a stupid bunch of lies, William. Pull yourself together. Go back to Moscow.
1
Your comparison, your homework. Google is your friend. You are quite right that de Blasio was also wrong initially. The big difference is that deBlasio has regretted his error and done his best to reverse course. Trump[ continues his campaign of lies.
1
Truly bizarre. Why on Earth would they release that "apology" audio? It's not just that they're hypocrites and crazies: they are also stunningly incompetent by their own lights.
1
Push Sessions out? Note that the Senate has told Trump that they're kinda busy and won't have any time this year to look into a successor! A wee bit of vestigial spine. Not much, but a bit...
1
TRUMP 130000 ✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝
1
@JeikuAnimeReview How do you know? Ann Hicks unusually had an office contiguous to the Oval one. Kellyanne Conway's is upstairs near the bedrooms. There's a double bed on Airforce One. You're really whistling in the dark, taking on faith a man who has violated every bit of good faith he ever declared.
1
@Ozlo Vega Absolutely correct -- but Mitch McConnell has enough sure votes in the Senate to cover Trump's sorry ass.
1
@JeikuAnimeReview Hunh? I don't see anything in any of my posts that comes close to being "conspiracy theories." What are you referring to?
1
@JeikuAnimeReview I asked you a question. However, since you have brought up the question of "inference," I point out that there's none involved. Trump's cheating on all his wives is simple past history.
1
@yourfriendlyneighborhoodla2091 Um, try repeating after me, "Madame Speaker."
1
"More"?
1
Grayson, It has everything to do with Trump. His whole political life is based on one single ugly theme: bringing out the worst in people. This is divisive, right down to the family level, pitting individual against individual and permitting people to give vent to feelings which their better selves know are better outlearned: their fears, their hatreds, and their jealousies.
1
@EbonyPhoenix 🤣😊😎
1
A ver-ree unpleasant example of mental illness not merely allowed to run amock but encouraged and harnessed in the interest of stupid and reactionary politics. The walking revenge of Judah P. Benjamin.
1
Not worsening. Same little girl he always was.
1
@Gary Russ I don't know where you think "here" is, nor what you think communism has to do with anything outside the monasteries that have so much influence on the world. The American GOP, however, is a collection of confused people based on a foundation of lies and stupidity and for the moment led by a fool.
1
'Nuther of those schools with the wrong number of doors, right? Nothing to do with guns. Gotta do more research on doors...
1
And if Nunes loses his election, he'll be spending some time in court...
1
@Mike_Jones281 Well said. One of the things that makes people bad guys is stupidity. (Donald Trump's incompetence is probably the US Constitution's strongest line of defense.) If they weren't really really stupid they would have figgered* out that honest people make a better living in all decent societies. A painter or a plasterer who doesn't gamble or drink too much can see their kids through an apprenticeship, nursing school, or their equivalent, and retire in decency in all Western countries. It's not rocket science. It's Granny's wisdom, "Honesty is the best policy." *OK, OK, "figured" out for the whiny guys.
1
@wmpig7615 Товарищ! Сегодня мы чтим Киев так же, как в детстве чтили Сталинград.
1
Matt Gaetz is so stupid he doesn't know the difference between "refute" and "contradict." He has contradicted the charges, merely claiming they are wrong. To refute them he needs convincing honest evidence and a rational story using it.
1
Even worse: they will show that he's a deadbeat living off his TV earnings and stealing from campaign funds. He has never been a businessman, just a loudmouth rich kid, pissing away his inheritance -- and his siblings' money too.
1
@EduardoOliveira-e8c Have you considered looking at the actual votes? Trump is a serial loser, beaten by Hillary, beaten by Biden, and about to be toally flushed if he is stupid enough to run in '24.
1
I wonder when we're going to see the Chinese Navy in the Caribbean, tit for tat for the US tooling up and down the South China Sea...
1
Trump voted absentee, by mail.
1
@Adifynite Danger of one-person rule by Trump in the short term and the subversion of the Constitution beyond him. Thank you for asking -- but why is that not obvious to you, Clara?
1
@mrcaustic2495 I wish him well: he seems to have genuinely repented. His "feeling freer by gong to jail" pose strikes me as genuine. He was certainly a slease. He got caught, and found himself cornered. That may take a bit of the virtue out of his repentance -- or it may not: at least he has't remained resolutely crooked like, e.g. McConnell, the most dangerous and vicious of the whole bunch, imho.
1
@mrcaustic2495 I'm sorry you don't get out more.
1
@naomiogle7956 He's certainly got a problem -- that of having been, as you say, the organ grinder's monkey. On the other hand he does have a sound point: "Look, I'm on my way to jail. I'm not on the organ-grinder's leash anymore -- and you can still hear the organ grinding away..."
1
@naomiogle7956 You're quite right that he's quicksand and not to be built on. Fortunately all he's doing is confirming stuff people know from other sources. I don't see what he has to fear from Cummings or Schiff. They don't control the DOJ, and in any event can't charge him with anything unless he provably lies. He's already been convicted and he's set to serve time. Nobody on the Democratic side is threatening him with more.
1
@madlibdb2521 Agreed. Everything you say here is correct. My point is that "I was on Trump's payroll, so of course I lied" seems to me an effective response to the present GOP attacks on him.
1
DK WORK WISE That's a compilation of whined lies and nonsense. Let us know if you ever trip over a fact.
1
The investigation is on. Wait for Mueller's report, OK?
1
Largely true. The judgement of climate change is coming at us pretty fast. The wrong-dong is pretty clear: dumping all our CO2 in the atmosphere is juvenile delinquency as clear as throwing a candy wrapper on your neighbors' lawn. The people who are paying already are the hundreds swept away n low lying islands in ocean storms. It is one of the wonderful ironies of Karma, or Divine Justice, or the rightness of the Universe, or whatever, that Mar-a-Lago is going to be one of the first palaces of wealth and privilege to go underwater. "The end is nigh" has always had some truth to it. The perfectly curable crises and challenges that we face right now are just the latest round of it.

@fLipoNesOn You're delusional, Rob. Good luck getting a grip on yourself.
1
A bit of basic genetics: All the world's peoples are descended from a few Africans who trekked out a couple of hundred thousand years ago. The bulk of Africa's people and peoples stayed there. This means the variance is still back there. We know the tallest and the shortest peoples are the Nilotics and the Pygmies. The stupidest will be the same everywhere, at the lowest bound for group survival. Scottish. German. Whatever. To the extent that intelligence or any other intellectual capacity is physiological -- anywhere from "somewhat" to "mainly," who knows? -- the best will probably turn out to be African.
1
Carlos, Trump is never planned, always on the wing and moving in on confusion, so you're probably right. The Proud Boys, Three Percenters and Oath Keepers, on the other hand, were obviously prepared and came equipped. (Google up "bear spray": it costs between $350 and $400 a can.) Getting that whole bunch brought to justice and exposed in front of their home towns will be a big step toward halting the rightward drift of the idjit side of the GOP.
1
I think it was just Russian soldiers smoking cigarettes. The helicopters were there to warn them of the danger of lung cancer. Sheesh! I just don't know where Christiane gets all these suspicious ideas from!
1
@doctorthirteen5727 Fair point -- but don't forget that Dunning-Kruger is just an academic joke that got out into the wild, not any genuine piece of psychology.
1
@wayne8498 You do not have better trade deals. You have radical, childish, confusion in tariffs and an economy on the rocks. You have a fiscal situation dominated by trillion-dollar deficits in the teeth of the full employment the Obama-Yellen recovery gave Trump for baseline. You do not have peace in the Middle East. You have the Russians rampant in the Middle East and a meaningless press conference between Israel and the Gulf autocracies they have done business with for the past sixty years. Your post, Wayne, is delusional. Grape or orange? Which Kool-aid do you prefer?
1
@john lee Not baaad.
1
@john lee I would have thought more of a pure-bred twit, but life is too short to argue about these things. Cheers, -dlj.
1
Sorry, James, it's the opposite. This is what people turn politics into. This is what the reactionary politics of people who pretend to run against politics. Bad politics is still politics. Crooked politics is still politics. Anti-constitutional politics is still politics. Subversive politics is still politics. Incompetent politics is still politics. This is simply wickedness in politics.
1
If Trump is such a media genius -- if he pulled some of those Republicans over the line -- how did he miss the fact that his Thanksgiving message, "I'm thankful for me," has blown up in his face? The man is not a media genius. He is a very capable actor -- and he made a lot of money as an actor (the only money he made in his whole llife). That's because on television he was under very highly skilled irection, and very highly competent producers. Now? If he has directors, a big if, they aren't as competent as the ones who ran "The Apprentice."
