"I love the poorly educated" Donald Trump, 2016 (applies to folks of all race, creed, color or gender)
4
I don't care how old Biden is - he's not an adjudicated rapist and convicted felon. Trump shouldn't be a candidate let alone have a chance in hell of winning the election. The people still supporting him are the worst of us.
4
I know all they have are polls, but polling is so bad so often that it's practically pointless to be using them for these discussions.
4
Vance is making the argument for violating the law and he should be careful of that for which he advocates as it could come back to be visited upon him. When the rule of law is made invalid the there are those who gladly return to the law of the jungle.
4
Not those of us who don't vote and have never voted for him and only tried to convince others to not support or vote for him either. That's like thinking all the Remain voters in the UK deserve the Brexit fallout or other kinds of all-or-nothing nonsense.
4
The reason why things are so expensive depends on which things you are talking about. And the reason why it's not Biden's fault is that the president doesn't control the price of gas or houses or products in the store. the prices on those things are largely based in supply and demand, set by the corporations and individual people running those businesses, and effected by third party costs and local city and state economies and taxes. Pretty much the only thing a president of either party can really be blamed for when it comes to prices are any tariffs they put in place.
4
I love clever comments, so I very much love that comment.
4
These focus group participants don't seem to realize that there is this thing called the campaign trail where candidates will spend the next few months talking about their policies over and over again. Unless that candidate is Donald Trump and nobody knows what the hell he'll be talking about - Yosemite?
4
Freaking Bill Kristol couldn't even bring himself to call it Project 2025. At 13:48 he refers to it as "that Heritage project". He's one of the worst things about the Bulwark IMO.
4
Coming to write the same thing and point out that they are usually pro-death penalty too. The cognitive dissonance runs deep with those folks.
4
And while Romney wasn't as bad as Reagan?/Bush or Bush Jr/Cheney he was still petty bad. That whole "Corporations are people" nonsense - es no bueno, Mitt. Lo siento, Tim.
4
I'd love it if Biden went of stage at the Democratic convention and just went off on old Bankrupt Donny using every vulgar term and curse word in the book. But I use a lot of vulgar language so I'm biased.
4
They are all over the political content on YouTube. Rank desperation from the adjudicated rapist and convicted felon.
4
Loves me some James O'Brien. Mystery Hour has become one of the things I look forward to each week.
4
I think there's something wrong with most of the polls. But then I'm reminded of the quote from Carlin about all the stupid people out there.
4
It's always crazy to me to listen to people who voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 who are now complaining about his character. Various quotes about stupid people come to mind.
4
All too often it only takes is one to cause the rest of us a world of hurt.
4
@micheleconner5083 One of the various ways in which he's bankrupt. I always thought my nickname for him, old bankrupt Donny, would catch on because it described him so well, but it never did.
4
21:00 - I've got your nickname for Kamala Harris - Madam President.
4
They should re-examine and modify many (if not all) of the Presidential powers now that we've seen that someone like Trump could be elected.
4
How the hell has Bitcoin gotten to over a 100K? It really seems like we are headed for another even Greater Depression than in the 1930's. History be rhyming and stealing again.
4
@max_out_your_cc what's coming is more of Trump getting even, not a reckoning. Plus grifting ... lot's of grifting.
4
"It's a lot easier to burn things down than it is to build them again" - especially when there aren't undocumented workers to help re-build them.
4
I liked it when Trump's eyes got really big when VP Harris talked about his rally crowds. And then the way he proceeded to freak out during his response - that was so much fun to watch.
4
We've been here before and like then it's not going to be pretty. Buckle up, folks. The party is just getting started.
4
Hope history has a sentence or two to talk about Merrick Garland and all the damage his slow walking and obfuscation has done while leading the DOJ too. He is complicit in all of this mess.
4
Except that some of Trump's supporters do talk like they think he's some kind of messiah and not just a very naughty boy.
4
@donnagal569 But the UK conservative voters were lied into voting for Brexit and it's caused terrible problems for everyone (except the super-rich) on a variety of fronts. Much like voting to re-elect Trump was based on all kinds of lies and is going to cause lots of problems for everyone (except the super-rich).
4
She says a lot of silly stuff.
4
Garbage in/garbage out is an excellent metaphor for Trump and everything and everyone around him.
4
As a citizen who was born here I feel the same way.

Jon Ossoff: "You have been weighed, you have been measured ,and you absolutely have been found wanting. Welcome to the new world. God save you, if it right that he should do so."
4
@julielytton6097 Seems pretty clear to me that the OP was stating that she doesn't have a problem with VP Harris becoming the Nominee specifically because she voted for both Joe "AND KAMALA HARRIS". So she doesn't understand people who are now complaining about VP Harris not being primaried because VP Harris already went through that process with Biden.
4
Your daughters best buckle up because this ride is about to go off the tracks.
4
That would be Russia - they they edge us out by a few hundred. Whether or not they all work is another question but they have an estimated 5889 to our 5428.

It is unfortunate the Elon Musk is an influencer at all. The having money part only makes it worse.
3
Since 2024 is shaping up to be a repeat of 2020, the song remains the same ... Biden sucks - vote Biden.
3
Fascinating🖖
3
@DarkAngel71180 That's what the House and the Senate are for.
3
"Debate me, bro!" 🤣😂🤣😂 Loves me some Sarah Longwell.
3
Seconded. I'm kind of okay with it as long as it stays in Hollywood, but keep it out of Washington DC and the state capitols.
3
Since Tim and Will talked about that John McEntee bit here too I'll post my comment from the JVL/A.B. Bulwark video. I think that McEntee should be arrested by the Secret Service which is responsible going after people passing counterfeit money. Federal law prohibits anyone from “forg[ing], counterfeit[ing], or alter[ing] any obligation or security of the United States” (like a five dollar bill) with the “intent to defraud” any other person.
3
It's a silly metric for all kinds of reasons. One of the most important being that it depends on what the issue is - economics, personal freedom, foreign policy, religion, military policy, and various domestic subjects all are going to evoke different percentages of how people identify as one of those terms. I also will always have my doubts with studies that extrapolate to the whole group when only a fraction of the whole group has been polled.

@marciamariethompson6463 Here's my problem with when other people tell me about God. You and they, like me, have to take it all on faith because when it comes to God that's all we have. If God has a problem with what I feel, think, say, write and do then God can tell me about that problem Himself. Until then my fellow human beings are all as in the dark about God's will and Gods plan (if there even is such a thing) as I am. I'd even go so far as to postulate that if God does have a plan for all things, including each of us, then we all are exactly whatever it is that God intends us to be and I am exactly as God intends me to be. But thank you for your thoughts - it's always nice when someone cares enough to try and is nice about it.
3
It's the majority of legacy media from print to radio to TV news.
3
He and his voters will blame every failure on woke communists anyhow. And take credit for the accomplishments of the Biden administration. It's what the party of personal responsibility and being accountable for your actions does.
3
Mark Wayne is a ... I don't have a word that won't get my comment removed, but he's that and worse.
3
I keep posting the George Carlin joke because it keeps being true -- “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.” And I'll add that many of them seem to be Trump supporters.
3
I'm just going to post the reply I made to someone else who wrote pretty much the same thing. That being that I'd argue that's the least surprising part. the worst parts are that his enablers will think that makes it okay and that the Democrats and the Press won't harass Trump and every person in his administration that was on that call until they resign.
3
Of course Biden's numbers are down and not getting better. All the mainstream media and talking heads focus on is his age and occasional verbal gaffs and slip ups. It's Biden versus Trump - deal with it. Trump's voters won't accept anyone else and the Democrats don't have anyone with better numbers and/or name recognition than Biden. But what makes me crazy that more people seem to fail to recognize is that it's not just about the candidates but the people that come with the candidates. The Biden administration has been delivering accomplishments and positive results for the US for the past few years and Trump's team is all about taking care of his bills and feeding his ego. We can choose to keep moving forward with Biden and his team or let Trump and Project 2025 end democracy as we know it. Your call.
