Anyone who thinks Crimea should remain a part of Ukraine really has not done their homework. It is beyond asinine that serious people, let alone nations, call for it despite the litany of evidence that amounts to Kiev and Crimea have no love to share. So let them seperate. The longer they are forced to stay together the messier the outcome will be.

@julianpetkov8320 do you have a link to the video?
3
Agree with the justifications or don’t, one thing we should agree on by this point is that Putin is the kind of politician that will make difficult decisions for the sake of his country and it’s people. I only wish my own British politicians could learn to put their own first as well.
3
Remember FLIGHT MH 17 I remember flight MH 17. I also recall seeing a video of a AFU soldier checking in on the crash site and them phoning in they had messed up because it was not a military target they had shot down. Awkwarddddd.
3
Pretty decent of you. It’s like in the UK we have The Poppy. It is a symbol to honour the ultimate sacrifice that soldiers face in war. IE giving their life in service of their country. Now what some people don’t realise, both in UK and abroad, is that wearing a poppy is not only to honour British fallen but all soldiers that make that sacrifice in honest duty. The next time people in the UK expect me to wear a poppy I will do so expressly in honour of the fallen of the Ukraine War no matter whose side they belong too. Well. Fallen that did not goose step into an early grave of course.

@RUSKILLERGRIPEN *you’re. Not your. So much for nato might, can’t even get their main language right :P
2
@RUSKILLERGRIPEN I do indeed see what you did there. Well played, enjoy you’re music good sir. Myself, amma continue reading a book I once read some 16 hears ago. Dawnthief, by James Barclay.

Man the amount of comments shadowbanned is getting out of hand. Just let people speak ffs YouTube. It provides catharsis more than anything else.

I invest in UK listed stocks on the side of burger flipping full time on zero hour contract. So don’t think me some rich big shot but I have a window into British investor sentiment on some UK listed stocks with Russian assets. Long and short of it most of them seem to think this some kind of huge Russian defeat and cannot understand why Russian media is painting this withdrawal in a good light. It’s almost as if they don’t understand the Ukraine forces now have a hostile river crossing to deal with if they are indeed to retake Kherson. It amazes me that otherwise rational, intelligent and skeptical people have swallowed the kool aide on all things Ukraine/Russia. They genuinely think Putin is about to accept a face saving deal with the west off the back of this Kherson thing. Truly baffling. Finally take care Alexander. Being ill is no fun.

@jamesminter6603 Macgyver would be proud!

Do you know what breaks my heart the most about this? 45:35 We in the West had the chance to pull Russia away from the CCP even after 2014 but now I cannot see that happening in my life time and I'm 34 so quite some years to go hopefully. Pax Americana was always going to end but I worry that it will end with a dominant CCP and that's the last thing Humanity needs. Best I can hope for at this point is the old adage of hard times making hard people so that the west may get off the woke track and back to a more pragmatic approach rooted in reality cos right now I reckon our armies would get curb stomped in a proper confrontation. "The best defense against great evil is a few good men trained in great violence." A problematic statement from a problematic man according to the woke crowd who preach that diversity is our strength. Did that strength help the reddit legion? Nope.

I wish I could share the photos with y'all. It really was restaurant level parmo made by moi. From the handmade breadcrumb to bechamel sauce, salad and herby garlic mayo. Only thing I could have done better is either rear the chicken myself or made my own chips as opposed to using store bought frozen lol. The parmo was topped with fresh red chilli, chestnut mushrooms, sweetcorn and spring onion (I believe Americans call that green onion, the little long stemmed ones). Cheese was a mix of mild Cheddar and Red Leicester (a British orangy stronger cheese, gives great visual contrast to the whiter chedder) Twas quite a rounded meal given all that salad. I use chicken thigh for parmo as well, most people use breast but breast is easy to overcook when doing parmo, thigh is not. Anyway. I am not a military expert but I am something of a food expert....tehe. The audio listening was as per usual excellent. My thanks Alexander and thank you to those who found my inane waffling agreeable.

@Olegstuff21986 This comment has me confused. I'm not American, as I said in my first comment, so not sure why you are telling me to "stick to your guns." I mean, unlike most British people, I do own some guns but they are ww2 deactivated antiques so I cannot fire them even if I did have the ammo for them. Bren Gun Mk2, Lee Enfield mk4 and a Mosin Nagant 1937 if you are curious.

Russia kept Iran at arms length out of an ambundance of caution given Uncle Sam really does not like Iran even if Uncle Sam was at fault back in the 50s and there was that questionable bombing. But anyway. Now Russia is sanctioned 6 ways to Sunday what do they have to lose in furthering ties with Iran? The Great Reset is happening but not like Klaus Schwabb envisaged. If nothing else I am grateful to Russia for that alone.

Brit here, been at work all day and kept hearing on the radio that an energy company has said to expect blackouts between 4pm and 7pm im January and February. A government spokesperson has said that it is unlikely to be the case. Yeah, it’ll be worse XD You know something is legit when a government spokesman comes out and denies it. Blackouts coming to an estate near you thanks to moral pearl clutching, hypocrisy and grandstanding. Even of I did not agree with the SMO and how it came about I would still be saying feck it. Someone get on the phone to the Ruskies and get a deal done.
2
And but a couple hours after Alexander uploads it would seem another update is due given Russian advances on 2 villages around Bakhmut. A few square KM taken from what I am reading.
2
It's a shame Givi is still not around to lead the militia.
2
Regarding the staggered missile strikes against Ukie energy targets, I reckon the Ruskies are giving time to allow repairs to be made so that the next wave takes out increasingly hard to replace hardware. EG transformers.
2
@anthonychin1873 Make me.

Seems some comments are being shadowbanned but to the utter cretin claiming all evidence points to Russia shelling itself at the ZNPP. Give yer head a wobble mate. All evidence ,barring some questionable IAEA claims, points to Ukraine shelling the ZNPP in an attempt at "irradiated earth" policy as opposed to scorched earth. Something Ukraine leadership has mused upon earlier into the conflict. Good luck defending that nonsense.
2
Nice change in lighting.
2
@Andy-P Russia is drafting, not conscripting. There's a difference. For example a conscript is someone with no military experience whereas a draftee does have military experience and has being called up.
2
@Andy-P They can flee the country but it would be in breach of their contractual obligations as someone that served at some point. Same thing happens in the west during times of war EG Obama's Afghan "Troop Surge" led to a draft of which some dodged it I would imagine. Quite rightly given the reasons they were being drafted imo. As for combat experienced Russians fleeing the draft. I dunno so much, I get the feeling it's more the kind of people in the west that fall under the SJW trope who are fleeing an imaginary order. Some tens of thousands so not much in the grand scheme of things.
2
If NATO troops get involved directly then I, as a proud Englishman, fail to see how Article 5 could be implemented without any kind of irony. We keep on pushing and poking but act like any kind of Russian pushback is unwarranted. Nah. NATO is aggressing by so steadfastly supporting a non NATO country that is literally on Russia’s doorstep but also allowed itself to be used as a western globalist playground. The sooner Kyiv falls the better for the average person the world over.

“The Zelensky Line.” Is it white and cut with a credit card?
2
Caps.....
2
Godspeed to your daughter good sir. It’s been a week or 2 since I caught a video of yours but your humanity shines forth with the opening statements re Turkey. A decent fellow most assuredly you are despite what some may try to say.
2
It's almost as if Zelensky is the Kremlins secret asset.
1
Call ,e callous but state benefits provided to unproductive people is very much part of the UKs problems. When you tax productive workers to the point work does not pay, so that unproductive people can enjoy a higher standard of living than low wage workers, then you are going to have a bad time economically as that is not sustainable.
1
Sounds like rather than one big cauldron it's going to be lots of smaller ones.
1
@nakshatraroy7442 It would have if a majority of Russians were against this expansion of the SMO but seems to me they are not outside of the usual "liberal" types that just hate their country like "SJW" types do in the west. If anything I see chances of Putin being deposed as having gone down as a result of a partial mobilization.
1
Is that a black eye I see Alexander? OR is it just a trick of the light, either way, take care.
1
I always forget the name of the Russian city but when I interact with people that claim Russia is having ammo issues I point out Russia has an entire city dedicated to munitions manufacture of all kinds. When I researched it early into the SMO it apparently accounted for 1/5th of the global output of all munitions. And people think Russia is having ammo issues. How cute.
1
@davidshapiro5616 indeed. Shame it was invaldiated when Victoria Nuland decided who would be leader of that bastion of democracy known as Ukraine. There’s also the 1993 referendum held by Crimea, ignored by Kiev. They teach you that? Further given a campaign of ethnic cleansing undertaken by Kiev against its own people within Donbass who voted to be n autonomous region in 2014 after the western backed Maidan Revolution of 2014. So I say meh. Kiev was due a beatdown and them losing those areas after Zelensky told Russians within Ukraine to leave for Russia, the irony is blaytiful. Self determination in action folks.
1
@redscope897 " Russia leveled the whole city of mariupol " Objective bullshit. Patrick Lancaster, go watch some of his videos from that time. Plus Russia has already built new apartment complexes and offering them free to affected residents of liberated Mariupol. There are also plenty of videos and plenty of testimonials that the Azoz as well as remnant AFU forces "hugged" civvie infrastructure when firing off arty thereby inviting counter arty fire. Further to that it was Azoz that murdered civvies in cold blood who tried to flee their human shield minded defense stratagems. Russia afforded them whatever protections they could under battlefield conditions. BUT MUH BRAVE AZOZSTAHL DEFENDERS! "No in fact they have been fighting harder and push Russia back from that moment. " Bullshit. Until Kharkiv there was nothing for Ukraine to brag about. Also you should note that Ukraine is on it's fourth round of conscription. Ie a forced draft of non military experienced citizens. Something Russia has not done. The max age is 70 and soon women will be conscripted as well. Believe it or not but not all Ukrainians agree with either of those things let alone giving their life to defend the coke fiend puppet known as Zelensky. So not sure why people keep telling me Ukraine is volunteering to fight this hard. They are literally being forced to in many cases. Now,so what Germany agreed to supply more AA. They agreed to supply many things since February. Kiev has complained their agreements go largely unfulfilled from Germany. Now, how exactly does the MIC of NATO countries hope to respond in volume? Most NATO countries are still suffering legacy lockdown supply issues that have only being compounded by energy generation issues. Pile on top wokeness and red tape and it will take a good 2-5 years for NATO MIC to catch up to what Russia has being doing since 2014. NATO stocks are running empty, Russia meanwhile? They just lobbed hundreds of missiles at Ukraine despite us being told Ruskies were out of missiles as far back as March. Oh and Dresden was a British ww2 war crime ie a firebombing campaign against a non military target during the latter stages of ww2 when air superiority was achieved by the allies. It was beyond uncalled for and a travesty of British claimed morals then and now. The point of Dresden is to counter romantic rose tinted first world eejits that romanticise things they don't understand. Just because the Blitz backfired on Germany does not mean a coordinated missile strike against energy, command and transport infrastructure will cause people to fight with renewed vigour. It could very well turn the people against their government. More so when one considers the crimes of Kiev against it's own these past 8 years. It's not quite the us Vs them scenario some want it to be in the west.
1
@redscope897 While I agree that the notion that Russia will march on the west is a war mongers fever dream I can say again you need to inform yourself. Russia has an entire city dedicated to munitions manufacture all the way from .22 to artillery shells. That one city prior to 2022 supplied 1/5th of total global supply of munitions supply. The combined efforts of NATO MIC, as of 2022, capacity are of questionable scope to that one city. US generals have raised issues over America's military ability to field a properly armed army given the amount of military donations to Ukraine. US is not even in a position to resupply it's HIMARs stocks for the next 2 years without direct investment in more capacity. Procurement takes time. You cannot just magic up industrial capacity.
1
@bogdanmeleszczenko1271 now try to complain about LGB+T issues in the west and see how quickly you end up in jail. At least Russia is defending it’s people and culture. In the West the powers that be seem hellbent on denigrating and indeed replacing it’s people. As a Brit I respect Russian politics and culture more than I do my own these days. Combination of Brexit being betrayed, 1984 becoming a guide as opposed to a warning, Lockdown nonsense, “15 minute cities”, mass immigration and more. Sounds like life is easier in Russia for a decent working class person that just wants to get on in life.
1
These stand and fight orders leading to numerous cauldrons. Seems the Ukrainians are determined to replicate their beloved nasty party leaders Bunker days.
1
Ladies and gentlemen I present to you a daft bit of fun. Hammer the back key at the start of the video to produce an Alexander good day rap. I had an inordinate amount of fun doing that these past couple of minutes. If I still did video editing I'd upload a video lol.
1
Is it just me but between that 4x4 driver crashing with a bunch of foreigners in the car and the blue on blue lately, it seems the Ukies are all, from top brass to fox hole dweller, positively shitting themselves. Is the Ukie moral about to break?
1
@andrew30m Quantity, not quality. "deserters generally go home" Lmao. Oh you sweet summer child you really should pick up a book. May I recommend Stalingrad by Antony Beevor. Cos my lord, you really don't have a clue what you are talking about. I will now discount anything else you post. (The emojis really don't help your argument either.)
1
Those battle taxis will be converted into technicals with ww1 era maxims. You just watch.
1
@transsylvanian9100 Gee, Winnie the Pooh is truly the greatest. Under him the practice of gutter oil has totally all being but stamped out. Not. Best government in the world, give me a break. Take a long hard look at Shanghai and tell me with a straight face that CCP is best government.
1
@transsylvanian9100 Have you noticed I'm talking the CCP here ie not China so what was that about propaganda? Pre the communists taking over China was pretty great with a rich and deep history broken up by Mongol conquests unfortunately. Further what I have to say is nothing like what the West has to say about Russia. Myself I've wanted to pay my respects in person to the Liquidators Monument in Pripyat for quite some years now. Za vas paschim liquidakor Chernobyl N Pripyat! I have a lot of time for my slavi-bros. Wouldn't mind living in St Petersburg if I could only wrap my head around the Russian Alphabet. Now, what of the power dynamics between The Liang bloc (Shanghai) and Beijing (Xi ping). The CCP is breaking one of it's most prosperous cities and for what? Face and internal party politics. Winnie made the zero covid nonsense of which even the idiots in the west have accepted as impossible. But the CCP would lose face if it accepts that to ease the suffering of 25 million souls in Shanghai. So it send in an army to maintain zero covid. Hmmmm. The CCP is once again an evil force. Internally and externally. The Kremlin is noble on the world stage if cutthroat internally. The CCP is ignoble annnnd a paper tiger. How's those demographics looking? How's the Lying Flat going? Why do all these buildings keep falling down? What's with all the grain silo fires? Etc etc. Oh and a special mention for the Three Gorges Dam. I feel sorry for the hundreds of millions of people who live downstream of that questionably designed super dam. 13 nuclear powerplants in the potential flood area as well. Yikes. But anyway. I wish you well and a pleasant day however I wish the CCP a dirth of misery.
1
I personally assumed that western AA systems would have fail safes to at least minimise collateral damage from missiles that miss their mark or a malfunction occurs. Guess Lockhead and co really are all that.
1
Hope you enjoyed your jollies Alexander.
1
In a sane world, if it is true that hostages were taken, then the last vestige of the AFU as a legitimate military force should evaporate on the world stage. But alas. We live in clown world so I won’t hold my breath.
1
Not sure I can agree it was a serious coup. Wagner is a mechanised infantry formation that lacks an air component. No bueno to it being a viable coup if you ask me unless it was quite an ill thought out endeavour. Either way Putin has consolidated his power so I suppose it’s a moot point.
1
@greggrimer1428 Mate I'm Pagan and laughing my arse off at this comment. The irony is off the charts lol. All the best though, I get what you are saying.
1
The only thing the Polish missile debacle has shown me is that if I read the words. "Russian made." I can discount whatever nonsense the MSM is claiming. It's like 2014 all over again.
