Because when I stated that someone didn't turn in a receipt for a tank I was M E T A P H O R I C A L L Y referring to the multiple outdated accounting systems Rumsfeld was speaking of that that couldn't speak to one another and correlate expenditures. So while approved money was going out the door for...oh let's say....tanks, planes, missiles, bullets, ships....hundreds of other legitimate military expenditures, the other side of the ledger wasn't accounting for these assets, therefore a cluster f*** of unaccounted for spending. Go back 50 years and thousands of such transactions and you start to come close what all this means. So when you say it was "stolen", all you're doing is showing your ignorance.

  12. Horse shit. There are multiple engineering groups who "fully endorsed" the NIST WTC Reports. There are 2 different FEA analyses that support NIST's conclusions. It is used in university level courses. Contractors have adopted NIST's recommendations in new construction. What Eddie really means is 'engineer after engineer who I invite on my show to support my bias.....'.

They didn't remove items around the steel only to leave it last. And the only "rush" was the first 2 weeks when it was still a search and rescue mission. They were more concerned with trying to save lives than satisfy the suspicions of conspiracy theorists. AND what you seem to be unaware of is that the site was cleared and taken to Fresh Kills Landfill where all 1.4 million tons of it, including 30,000 tons of steel, was sifted and swabbed by hundreds of NYPD detectives and forensic experts. They did this over 10 years. Would this be that complete testing and analysis you were expecting?

Far worse than a plane. Four fighter jets were scrambled on 9/11. All that was available on the East coast. Plane parts and victims identified by DNA found at Pentagon. Got any other nonsense you need corrected?

He was referring to a routine audit, conducted a year prior, in which the DoD couldn't track $2.3 trillion in transactions dating back almost it's entire 50 year budget history. This was due to multiple outdated accounting systems which couldn't talk to one another. It's like this: I own a farm and purchase a new tractor in cash, but I forget to tell my accountant or give him the bill of sale. Now at the end of the month my accountant notices $150,000 less funds in my account. Has that money been lost? Is missing? Was it stolen? No. It's sitting in field in the form of a tractor. As soon as I hand over the receipt the $150,000 is accounted for. Now do that 100,000 times over 50 years with tanks and planes and the $trillions start to add up. This is actually what Rumsfeld's speech was about: advocating for better systems so the money could be tracked better.
