  3. I don’t live anywhere near a HOA, but most cities have ordinances… mine doesn’t allow RVs. And all counties have some kind of septic & electrical codes. Some even require a minimum for living space.

  16. I had sciatica from standing & pulling heavy pallets uphill every day. Thankfully I met a massage therapist who did an hour session. The first 5 minutes I nearly passed out from the pain… thankfully, he refused to stop. A few days later I got another hour session, & haven’t had to have anymore other than 5 minutes every few weeks that I administer to myself. Never taken anything harder than Motrin… which I haven’t taken in over 20 years. I do recommend vitamin D3, tho. I’ve recommended massage to 5 who suffered with sciatica, & it has worked for them. One had a chiropractor that used TENS, & two sessions has worked without having to return. Edit: my massage therapist said that 30 minute sessions only aggravates it more. Best to do an hour or more. As I understand, TENS is less time consuming.

  19. Firstly, most government assistance is now going to the elderly because that’s the largest population & the population with the most needs, with over 13,000 turning 65 every day in the USA. Secondly, all that needs to be done to assure that social security remains solvent, is to remove the cap. But politicians won’t go there because they want it privatized so that they’ll be the ones to reap your benefits.

  29.  @Teri728 The seal on valve can wear or even squished, causing a leak, whether it’s hooked up or not. Most people can smell it, the biggest danger is building up in an enclosed space & igniting. There’s a reason that the stores have signs saying “leave propane cylinders outside”.

  44. Saw that. To be clear, it was a motorhome & they had another vehicle. I’m wondering if they would have a choice since it’s considered a vehicle & you’re usually entitled to keep a vehicle. Also, one or both is probably financed. But this could also be a concern when it comes to needing government assistance. You’re only allowed so much in assets. My neighbor had a massive cancer tumor on his head, & since he had an old boat that wasn’t worth anything, it was still considered a major asset because it had a title. He had to pay someone to take it off his hands.

  50. I’m near the Texas coast where I’ve been watching them take over a year to dismantle buildings that were built in the last ten years to withstand the most powerful of hurricanes, only to replace them with yet another cheesy vacant strip mall that can be knocked leveled within an hour.
