@ajstevens1652 it wouldnt be a utopia If it were to be distributed equally theres so many people the total each individual would get would be tiny. for exsample ALL OF THE VALUE JEFF BEZOS has if distributed equally amongst the 330 million americans would only be 342 dollars and 42 cents thats including stuff like property value oh and the entire value of amazon and not just liquid cash if it was just liquid cash less than 20 $s.

@BigSteve9713 We allready could have free housing if good jobs weren't so centralized around big crowded cities Plus I really don't see how a one time seizure of the 1% would prevent landlords in and around the top 5 to 10%- bracket from doing what they have been doing for eons.
7
@alcostello6114 sorry ment to respond to ned

Lagarto Verde well spoilers everyone
7
Assuming theres such thing as right people or wrong people. Theres a right place for somone not a right person to fill that place.
7
@squamish4244 assuming it's has good cyber defence and no one finds out how to hack that stuff. It could backfire in catastrophic fashion if somone does though.
7
Tell that to a girl It wont end well
7
Food pyramid Yep as if people havent adapted to eating diffrent diets a universal diet is as big a lie as we can prevent all conflict.
7
Those classical cults sound to similar to modern fandoms and baised off what I heard about 70s/80e hippie stuff that to.

@nikomann88 massive oversimplification america was supporting South American dictatorships prior to the cuban revolution or jfks assassination. 2 america did see Argentina as a equal which was a problem equal in the same way France and Italy saw each other. 3 brazil is pretty similar to Mexico yeah uh mexico is about half way through industrialization I don't see a Brazilian equivalent to Mastretta Cars as a random example. Speaking of mexico great example of how some of the stuff the us treated different countries Honduras el Salvador or Guatemala got effectively ruined by the us meanwhile Mexico or chilie have had economic booms and improvement economically. Lastly your point about communism I think its mainly due to most of Latin America is in early stage industrialization or proto industrialization which was the society marx made communism for early stage industrialization or a "ideal model for reaching it". For unindustrial societies Seeing as most of the west progressed past early stages of it and now to the point of service jobs being more common than good producing ones well theres the problem.

@diehardsmokerbuddy actually the 2nd polish republic was having massive ecconomic growth before the great depression and dogmatic policies prevented any sort of recovery. Sure Lwow and Brest was much poorer than Krackow or Gdansk or even Poznan but poland was not poorer than nations like Portugal or Spain. Also women could vote as early as November 28th 1918 sure by decree not a vote. The soviets did help with heavy industry though at the expence of EVERYTHING ELSE. Just to give you a idea of how much poles hated the soviet union in 2004, Plac Centralny, Nowa Huta's central square, they not only pulled down a statue of vladimir lenin but also renamed the street to Plac Centralny im. Ronalda Reagana polish for ronald regan.
6
@immaculatesquid or in otherwords more decentralized which is correct Decentralized systems are so much better at adapting than centralized ones.
6
@Trottski05 england is stealing your money Dont you mean big southern cities From what Ive heard the midlands or Englands rustbelt have a similar stuff going on.
6

RAPHZ OOO stuff like the Size of the large multi ethnic empire that ruled a large swath of it But the main thing people point to when they say the Islamic world declined is in "scientific thought" which it always was philosophical thought there's a reason why technological advancement has been so much faster the past 300 years that's one big reason right there they stopped having technological parity with the "west"
6
RAPHZ OOO adopted it from whom? Islamic society had it so the scholars always were religious it's just there religious leaders were considered with truth over power hints Islamic golden age before the mongols came in showed them how easily that power could be lost and after that they clung onto it harder than even the orthodox church did in Russia after the fall of Constantinople.
6
RAPHZ OOO yeah like I said late Rome was fairly atheistic before axial age religions IE Christianity came in to fill the void left by the decline in Greek-roman pagan gods. And saying gaileo was the start still is a bit disingenuous since he was still in the minority it wasn't before the 1700s when normal people picked up there ideas and doing experiments themselves hints the 200 years where nothing in terms of technological advances really changed.
6
It won't be holy penguin or even a empire It would be atheist, human, and a failed state.
6
@rafaelstahl3595 and what if you make your own? The means of production need to come from somewhere comrad.
6
As an American I hear alot about anything above the Darian gap in the form of drugs and migrants who don't want to live in a shit place Even the people who claim to be anti racist still treat Latin American countries like hell holes which after visiting Mexico city I can tell you Belgrade is way worse.
6
@TylerSolvestri most Americans don't even know the rockies mountains are alot taller than the appalachian mountains which have more in common with the Scottish highlands. And that's a KEY PART of our own county's geography.
6
@ANTSEMUT1 the strait of taiwan closed off so its conected to the mainland Plus due to the climate being colder the subtropic parts of china the last place to be sinozized other than manchuria would be much closer to the north han heartland.
6
@ANTSEMUT1 they also needed a reason try at taking vietnam for the 100th time. Somtimes emperors pride is enough of a reason.
6
3 weeks later Evergreen Well well well Our time has come.
6
@Sam Wallace I dont know what your on about. Most of the country is trending right atm just look at former swing states like florida, ohio, arizona which only required a few points swing to the right and now look at them people are talking about red oregon and new york this election cycle. The dems assumed they had a monopoly on hispanics not realizing how religious they are and as such the religious right has been making massive gains.
6
If the brazilian heartland is geographically similar to the american south and was similar ecconomically before the 1950s and 1960s when there was a move away from older cities in the Midwest and toward newer urban centers in the South. So uh bad luck plus uh IDK what else.
5
Why is every society religous Cant wait for this to turn into an explanation on why ours isnt.
5
Now this is a remake I've been hoping for.

He was saying we still follow the same rules we still are more or less the same creatures and I mean look at the unrest of the past 50 years in America 68 and 2020 so far should be prime examples Don't even get me started on America's regional identities sure minor but so was the Galo-roman identity and now alongside a SMALL German influence now it's french Were more stable than before but not completely stable Another thing look at the growth of mezo and south America Brazil and Mexico combined has a higher population than the hole US sure there in the American sphere of influence but keep that in mind were not untouchable were just really high up but there is the saying the bigger you are the harder you fall.
5
@occupationallystrong1606 you clearly went outside the suburban bubble. New albany is full of biden-harris signs to this day alongside quite a few other diehard blue stuff which I assume you see as inherently better than the rural areas which starts about a 30 minute drive out from where I live. Also somehow ohio isnt the most gerrymandered state in the midwest that title goes to illinois now because ohio got all the attention and thus needed to calm it down so the maps would stick.
5
@farbrormelker2341 that influence has lead to discontent on all sides people don't like being told what they can or can't do Not to mention the amount of gouvernments that have collapsed recently even with all of that influence look to the soviets and a couple post soviet governments or the entire Arab spring before Saudia Arabia and Iran propped up opposing sides against each other smart people have taken notes from those lthough gouvernments included It's not harder it just requires way more support which that level of support is rare yes. Also you never could resist the gouvernment alone period let alone with just a rifle and a colored flag you have to be in touch with a large part of the population which due to how atomized the west is where I'm assuming your from that why it's been so stable.
5
I live in central ohio theres a place litterally called "polish village" perogies are found at a few major grocery stores and paczkis compete with krispy kreme although usually lose.
5
@rageraptor7127 nice to see a bit of nuanced refreshing take for once. I 100% agree theres to inequality but 90% of the time its always just the same bad arguement of just take the rich and split it evenly. A plan like that probably has flaws but nothing is perfect.
5
Brazil for him is a overused meme on this channel in how a ITS JUST LIKE THE OLD AMERICAN SOUTH and b A MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT.
5
@Stefano Raul Febles Verastegui lol as if that ever stopped people from being allys with the British the Japanese were in WW1 the British or stuff like this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-Moroccan_alliance Yeah uh racism rarely actually effects geopolitics. American racism for example didn't prevent us from being supporting Somalians in the Ogden war.
5
Hopefully Third times the charm when we actually get the idea Competing with the entire world means everyone in the world loses to somome else.
5
@realosc1710 I mean what's there to comment about ?
5
Where I used to live in new albany ohio is getting the largest simiconductor factory in the world. Thats just one factory but its going to be up in around 5 years The us could build its own supply within a decade or so it has all the supplys other than potententially time.
5
No mongols and no timurids Sorry only way to acheive that world. Edit also no independent egypt, syria, iraq, libya do I need to go on?
5
@seifelsawy1855 well there is a reason for it. It has not reformed much since the middle ages. Caliph gone in sunni islam thats about it. Sure it didnt reform into Inquesition like what Christianity did for a short period after the middle ages but still imagine if christianity still did crusades theres still Jihadis today but no Crusaders.
5
@PsilentMusicUK yeah the reason it was better than the modern russian system is because the soviet system kept itself isolated from global competition that it couldnt handle. The second it opened itself up you saw massive capital flight alongside skilled labor flight and flight of about 30 other very important things to more competive sectors resulting in a ecconomic crisis russia probably will never recover from. And its not just russia, Belarus has done very little ecconomic reforms and pretty much still uses large parts the old centralized soviet system in all but name to the point of haveing the nickname "the last soviet ecconomy" and its even poorer than modern russia atm. Let alone a place like Lithuania.
5
@stuckonaslide ruined the ecosystem Me who looks at Arizona yep seems about right Then I look at Cleveland and the cayohoga river WAIT THEY FIXED THE MESS THEY MADE WHAT Yeah we ruined alot of stuff but we also repaired it. Which is more than you can say for the poor Aral sea or lake Chad Rip lake Chad.
5
Wait team america nah Im on 红队 I feel bad for you if you took that seriously.
5
@ShnoogleMan @ShnoogleMan thats before they start singing kill the french like what is going on in south africa right now with people singing a song quite litterally called shot the boer or kill the boer. so probably would be worse for the french population today going I say probably since well theres a reason why MOST left back to france.
5
@connorperrett9559 no even better kemalist literature. Then you can at least be surprised by his reaction
