  23. Because an object can pass beyond the limit of human visual acuity long before it reaches the horizon; if they haven’t reached the horizon then they haven’t gone over it. (Yes, there can be more than one reason you can’t see something.) No FE’er has zoomed a “half-sunk” ship back into view or zoomed the set sun back. Why is that?

  33. There were 6 Apollo landings, not one. The US government ended the programme because the main purpose was a Cold War ego trip; the Soviet Union has been first at everything up that point. The scientific aims could be achieved a lot more cheaply with unmanned probes. The development of technology to build & launch manned vehicles ended in 1973 with the end of manned missions. Technology as a whole advanced and it is now 2021; what worked in 1973 is incompatible with 2021 technology.
