  26. I was single I until my late 30s but it was not because I had high expectations and standards like these shallow women do. It was because I had other priorities in life. Romantic love is only a part of your life and not your entire life. It is dependent on fate too.

  40.  @TJ2000-d8g Thanks and yes, I had great parents and I have all brothers so I see it from a man’s perspective better than most people do. People go on and on blaming either the man or woman only when things go wrong but they forget to realize that it takes 2 to tango. However, in some cases, one is more at fault than the other. But I must say that women tend to get it easier than men at times too. People sadly fail to realize that. I constantly hear people preach about the women wanting this and that, but what about the men? They always say happy wife happy life which I don’t agree with. It should be happy couple happy life. You both need to be happy. Sorry that it did not work out for you and your wife but at least you are friends with her now. Many exes are extremely bitter towards each other after their divorce. I love the response of HK actress Carina Lau when they asked her if she gave her husband who is also an actor a lot of tolerance and leeway. But she responded “ He tolerates me as well. People forget that in a marriage, your partners have flaws but so do you. You both need to tolerate each other.” She is so right and doesn’t fail to acknowledge her flaws and all too. That is why she and her husband have been together for 35 years now and are still blissful.
