The suppressed everyone, and their suppression of their fellow socialists is not unique amongst socialists. 3. Economically they are indistinguishable from other socialist countries of the time, privatization wasn’t even a state sanctioned idea, it was named by a few low level members of the party and was completely ignored. 4. They were not marxists, they were socialists. They started at the same place, that humans are naturally good and it’s the society that corrupts them, so if we remove the corrupting influences from society then we could achieve a utopia where everyone is equal. 5. What do you think TIK is doing? He goes through the sources and asks “what biases does this source have.” Turns out a lot of the reputable sources of the time claiming the nazis are not socialists have marxist biases and so that must be accounted for when studying their work.

Nazism combined the two most popular ideologies in Germany at the time, marxism and eugenics. His hatred for communism was born out of marxism, he believed that Marx corrupted real socialism like how Marx believed liberal democracy was capitalists corruption of real socialism.
