@eyesodd It isn't a matter of "Not bothering" it's a matter of avoiding the poisoned apple. And the whole "Trying to make a change" schtick is romantic and all - but it's an exercise in futility; a hamster in a wheel that leads nowhere. All those who take part are doing, is authorising those who run things to do so - therefore you're responsible for everything they do, even if they're not who you chose. So if I'm so bad; for not empowering them by mindlessly cooperating, then what does that make you...

Because Reform won't answer to the same establishment... right.
3
@joshuafreshney1206 then the question is - what's harder to bear - liberty in death or life in chains?
3
When the law of the land appeases the criminal at the expense of the law abiding, to what purpose is there to abide by the law? And more so can those who figure this out and figure 'screw it' be blamed?
3
What do you expect? Only liars can satisfy when the people want the impossible and once you give them power over you, you'll almost never get it back.
3
You didn't disable the alert feature?
3
@himagainstill and in case you've missed it - the whole country doesn't care at that point. That judge is one person, outnumbered by seventy million and that seventy million isn't taking no for an answer.

I'm one also, so i can comment in agreement. Even by Asda policy, this colleague has overstepped her ability in a severely gross manner. At the same time, it's no surprising that supermarket security is so poor and without training, because said training permits for more promising prospects elsewhere.
2
@Stephen-lx9nm Nope. Try again.
2
@LuxFerre4242 That chance is non existent - not with the fact that the only thing keeping the nation from bankruptcy is governmental obedience.
2
@JoBrady-q8p Actually yes I can, because I did not vote, I'm not responsible for whoever gets in and what they do. Those who do vote however - be it for the winner or lose, are responsible for said winners actions. So I have more say over what's going on then you realise.
2
@skeletoncru302 Absolutely, but don't go even signing the ballot with that either.
2
@gracecollins8415 And as we know - capitulation never works.
2
@ollymeg They assaulted an officer and the police on site, given it's an airport acted accordingly. But now the assailant has been let off and the officers demonized.
2
@PaulBooth-m1d All part of establishment's plan...
2
No it just shows they're doing as they're told as Tories did before them and so on, just as anyone else who get in from this point will. And the masses have only themselves to blame.
2
@dazryan3463 yes, the optional receipt is a frustrating loophole - one I would say was put through without considering that matter. But if I had nothing to hold them on, no reason to suspect, it'd be more prudent to just let them go, investigate the cctv of their route and thus confirm any activity. Most of the time it's been a mishap at the checkout, especially self-scan where the item has been paid but not deactivated. The matter at that point is resolved, depending where you work, the matter is brought up with the checkouts manager to reinforce prudence when it comes to disabling paid items and avoid unnecessary issue. In the event of a confirmed theft, following their leaving the matter would be reported depending on the value and a "watch for" notice so that said shoplifter would be monitored on each following entry and approached upon offence put into effect.

@barrieshepherd7694 retail security can not force searches; ie person effects searching physically, any items on your person would have to be revealed on your own means and that you have every right to refuse and demand police intervention, though the police DO have the means to perform such searches. If ever retail security commits such, then an assault claim can be filed. Be aware, however, that should you refuse to cooperate when approached and do not await for the police with that refusal, both security and store can invoke a retraction of your right of entry - basically they can ban you on the grounds of intent. In any event you are approached and challenged incorrectly, it's better to let the guard fall on his or her own sword even if it means an inconvenience on your part despite your innocence. Personally I have no sympathy for a guard who messes up and falsely accuses an individual prepared to retaliate through the process, because if they're in such situation, they aren't doing their job properly.
2
@Dylanesque I dunno does it take a doctor to tell you you're gonna get scalded putting your hand in hot water?
2
@commanderdon4300 violence is never a desirable answer but unfortunately it sometimes winding up being the only one that gets results. When someone, no matter the age is wanting to end you; a scolding tends to not do much good.
2
Come on now - the companies weren't "Impressed" they were always going to do this on their terms. We ARE a bankrupt nation after all and their owners also own the banks whom the nation is indebted to.
2
@annaparry4045 So long as they're within the confines of said law, policy can be prioritised before it. Detaining under citizen's arrest is legal with justified evidence, but most store policies prevent this because they don't want the hassle coming from the risk said detaining can entail.
2
And yet the British keep voting...
2
@eyesodd I'm completely aware of that fact - another fact is that any and all who strive for power fall in the same category. He's just a little bit more open about it than most.
2
And yet if you've voted, you've consented to this anyway.
2
@skibidat9808 "I'm not getting involved" enough said.
2
@charliemintz Absolutely correct and fully agreed. But to play devil's advocate - NO ONE with that training is going to work a Security job at a supermarket, when said training affords much more lucrative options. Hence the supermarkets take what they can get.
2
@DMC888 Exactly. People were supposed to vote Remain in the Establishment's view and due to the referendum taking place in a relative peaceful time, people were actually able to think for themselves and chose to leave. And I can just see that everything since has been deliberately screwed over to give the impression that the wrong choice was made.
2
@noelward8047 You know how to prevent a diagnostic tracker from intervening with a PC's DNS client? No one can know everything mate.
2
You think they'll do that? Forget it - they're doing their part as ordered by the establishment like all the others.
1
@adenwellsmith6908 Well to enable any of that - the first thing people need to do is STOP. VOTING. because the only ones who are ever going to get in, are those that will do what establishment tells them.
1
@nickryder9669 Oh there's ALWAYS one who has to whine about leaving the fourth reich...
1
@Man_v_Cars Oh we could - if only the majority of people would get their act together and do their part. It that's hoping beyond too much - ideological subversion through distraction, demoralisation and disinterest has done it's work.
1
@himagainstill Says who? The law? And who would be there to enforce it if EVERYONE turned around and said "We're doing it. End of."
1
@himagainstill and again - with everyone in the country turning around and saying "We're doing it." Just who exactly would stop them.
1
@himagainstill it's called force mate. When you push a people too far - they tend to figure "Fuck it" and they rebel. In this country even peaceful protest has become illegal - so in the words of another "violent revolution, becomes inevitable."
1
@himagainstill no but people will start one if said MPs keep pushing people too far. People outright rioted during the Poll Tax and it cost Thatcher her premiership. When it comes to that - nobody is going to care what a judge thinks. Follow your own advice.
1
Not a snowball's chance in Dante's Phalegathon...
1
Being thought of planning to do something is that vague an incentive to justify an arrest - it's basically impossible to say or write ANYTHING. How many of us have said something in temper or entertained a thought, but not carried it out for obvious reason - we going to be herded up for that next?! This is a pisstake arrest - PLAIN and SIMPLE.
1
@Simonsimon-fy3hq I was utterly unsurprised when the establishment's puppet began carrying out his orders, like each and every one before him, on each side of the aisle and in every party. My disappointment is that after all this and yet the public simply haven't learned and keep persisting on "We need to follow this one, we need to follow that one..." for goodness sake - haven't any of the mass public got a thought of their own??
1
@LuxFerre4242 That chance you hope for is non-existent. They do as they're told like everyone else - put them in power and they'll turn their back. The situation of the nation is something no one that is going for the role, is going to choose to change course on. After all, would you be the one ready to go down in history as being the one forced to essentially bankrupt the nation? The banks and their business interests own this country.
1
@Lakesider52 Hardly deflecting, simply shining a light on all of it.
1
@wideyxyz2271 I have far more to show for it by doing such. And 650 people voting themselves in - a whole nation of seventy million and more could easily turn and ignore them. Police, military and all the rest can just as easily join that number.
1
@peterstewart6390 So you want to extinguish a fire with fuel? Good luck.
1
@IanLynch-b7e I have my own mind and the ability to both see and admit what others seem too socially conscious to admit themselves.
1
@seewhatifound The majority of them are just puppets going along for the sake of a career, others go along with it for their own self interests and the ones who get the front row seats of power, they're the ones most pally with those who really run things. And I assure you - any and all parties that get power end up in this exact same pattern - establishment won't accept any less.
1
@seewhatifound A few of them are, but the majority of them are just puppets.
1
@apoorww1veteran994 Is that faith or fear? You realise that if they got in, they'd have the same ultimatum as anyone else: compliance or bankruptcy.
1
@martinjackman2943 Then you go ahead and be a good little boy and do as you're told - you go tick your box and give yourself a pat on the back. Then when it all comes crumbling down, realise you've only got yourself to blame.
1
@martinjackman2943 Who?
