Reais is the plural. One real, two reais. So when you're talking about the currency u say the Brazilian real not the Brazilian reais, just like u would say the American dollar not the American dollars
6
For the Australian citizens who are saying here in the comments they're thinking about renouncing, that doesn't solve the problem! The basis for this is tax residence, not citizenship. It's gonna affect u regardless of your citizenship if you're trying to leave the Australian tax net
6
He's talked about that. That's not gonna happen for a simple reason, they can
6
Personally I don't see anything wrong with the negative test requirment to travel. I'm actually happy to travel with a negative test cause that means they're not requiring the vaccine
6
Definetly Chile. As an EU citizen, Chile is the citizenship I'd like to have in case something happens and I decide to renounce. Always a good option to have as I would not lose access to most of the countries I currently have access to, including the US which is rare, and I would add Russia to that which is definetly a country worth exploring. It's also a passport that I don't find very hard to get
6
Keep in mind that Mexico is not exactly low taxed. There are definitely better options in Latin America for both income and corporation tax. Also keep in mind u don't have to be a tax resident there or set up your business there while spending a good amount of the year there
6
Get ready to pay lol

I'll personally have to disagree with some of these. I don't like little islands without an at least mid size urban center. For that reason I'd prefer the Bahamas over the cayman Islands and I'd take Jersey out. I didn't know Ireland and Austria could be tax friendly but from what u've said in the video Austria only works for a very specific niche. For that reason I'd rather consider lump sum tax countries (Switzerland, the UK and Italy). About the UAE, perhaps Qatar or Bahrain are better for families but I don't mind it too much. One country I think you're missing is Georgia. It's safe it's laid back, it's emerging which I think is important if you're raising kids, from a nomad capitalist point of view, u probably don't want them to become like most people are in the west. Perhaps the schools aren't that good but I believe that assuming you're able to pay there might be good schools and if u can't find one that u like u can hire a tutor of your trust
6
Why not? It's an excellent country and if u can afford to get in u can pay 0% in taxes. Just like Dubai, yes u have to put half a million in real estate but the benefits are just so much greater
5
If in the future they allow dual citizenship it's definetly a passport I'll wanna go after. About Arabic... I'm already looking for an excuse to learn it
5
Not per capita
5
Loved the compilation. Definetly helpful.
5
The only privelege u don't get that natives do is the privelege to pass it on to your children. For that u'd have to pay extra. For anything else you're a regular citizen entitled to a passport and the right to leave and enter the country as u please
5
This video is gold but unfortunately it didn't touch one part of some people's families: pets. Is it possible to be a nomad and carry your dog or your cat around the world?
5
It has nothing to do with the video but I appreciate that you're not failing to provide information during this Christmas season. Doing better than some people who actually live from YouTube
5
It's pretty decent passport and gives u full access to a large economy. See nobody here cares about travel to europe cause our current passports already got that covered. The bottom line is your needs are not the same as my needs. Really who here is tryna travel to the netherlands?
5
Nathan B what?
5
He doesn't, he uses his channel to attract more clients, he doesn't need or want YouTube money, specially since that would mean more people would watch his content, people that shouldn't be watching in the first place because the masses are entrepreneurs let along nomads. If you're looking to become a nomad and go offshore, that's something u should dig for when only a few people are interested in his content. When the masses start having access to his videos without having to dick, he would be penalized and criminalized
5
Andrew, would u say u can actually get chilean citizenship through paper residence or is it just an illusion like Panama?
5
6:57 Portugal was under a 50 year long dictatorship in which sectors like industry or housing were dominated by the state and after that was the socialist revolution which set up our current system. Yet we haven't learned our lesson. People are still afraid of the free market, I supposed because they're scared of freedom which would be something new
5
In Israel?
5
I mean you're still payingthe police officer's salary through sales tax, property tax and perhaps capital gains tax right!? You're just not paying income tax and corporate tax but yet u might happen to be one of people that most funds the government
5
@tombumth7709 well they call themselves that
5
@infiad1275 agreed, however time doesn't really matter for the sake of the video. Most of these countries take just as long
5
I love the beach but I need me at least a mid sized city so my favorite would be the Bahamas and also Dominican Republic assuming you're not a tax resident. Again I wouldn't live in some little island with basically no city life. Nassau and Santo Domingo would do the trick. Focusing on the islands ofc
5
@towaritch my fridge isn't tax friendly
5
It's easy lol, it doesn't have any impact whatsoever
5
I agree. I happen to think all these indexes and stuff are biased towards the west, if not intentionally than because the criteria are chosen through a western view. The most obvious example of this is the HDI which among other things measures years of education while it doesn't matter the return of that education. That being said in an eastern country like India or Pakistan u don't need as many years of education to have the same opportunities or job prospects because there is less competition for qualified jobs. Assuming Indians and Pakistanis are not dumb y would they have a 20 year education to become say an engineer when they can become an engineer with say a 10 year education. In my opinion this is an obvious example of bias and u just see that comparing to Georgia or Estonia the US is not free at all and yet it's 17th place
5
I don't really see countries with a lot of citizens living overseas imposing taxes on them. On the other hand these countries have been trying to "recover" their citizens living abroad so perhaps if they taxed them people would be less interesting in leaving which is the opposite of what they should do. They should be trying to become more competitive so people don't need to leave in the first place
5
@colingallagher4848 or maybe u know just maybe follow the law
5
Anyone who's upset over this has the wrong mindset. There are so many other options
4
u only bring one ofc
4
Answering your question, outsiders would think otherwise cause different people have different needs. While people from Pakistan leave for higher wages it's not at all uncommon for westerners to take advantage of what the country has to offer. It's these kinds of places where u find the best deals and higher returns
4
If I were in this person's place I would go practice medicine in Chile for a year or spend 6 months there without working if I could afford it, become a permanent resident there, then move to Portugal and practice there for the next few years while taking a vacation in Chile every year and just like that in about 5 years u have 2 other passports. I would also open bank accounts in other countries possibly with higher interests
4
But golden visas, exceptional citizenship and citizenship by hiring is just fine...
4
U can drink bottled water
4
False. It has a flat tax of 10%
4
If u leave the US u could reduce them by a lot but it won't be 0 as long as you're a citizen
4
I was so certain it had been canceled
4
Yeah when I started watching I was 16 too. Can't believe it's already been 2 years. Too busy closed at home to notice time pass by
4
@serinadelmar6012 yes, they hate u for having more money then them
4
Out of these I'd keep Moscow, Istanbul and Kyiv on my list and I'd replace the rest of cities by Budapest, Warsaw, Minsk and Bucharest. Budapest and Bucharest could also be great bases in Europe and in that situation the cities that would replace them on the focus cities list would be Yerevan and Krasnodar (considering Baku as Asian)
4
It is personal for me. If I country provides me low or 0 corporate tax, I certainly love that country
4
Y would he be willing lose potential clients
4
Before watching the video: I'd say I disagree cause even if u can't make a profit or even sell for the price u paid meaning u'd lose money your loss margin won't be 100k which is the price of the donation option. So even if u lose money you're not losing as much, but I'd love to hear your thoughts as well as perhaps some information I'm not aware of After watching the video: that first point was good, changed my mind
4
Generally It's 19%, the 9% rate is an incentive for smaller companies
4
I didn't know about this concept at all. I thought the video was gonna be about flat tax countries like Hungary, Serbia or Russia. Really surprised me with this one
4
First seconds of the video and I can already relate. I grew up with a world map on my desk and as I never liked studying I'd get bored and I'd explore the map. I also grew up with a globe on my bedside table so the globe was pretty much the last thing I'd see at night and the first thing in the morning.
4
Andrew I don't think u thought about all the aspects. For example, where would u bank in order to have high interest rates if u can't be anywhere else? Said that I think a Georgia would be fundamental to the equation, not only for the banking side obviously
4
@mynamename5172 if u are tested u don't need the vaccine which I think is good news. Again I'm happy to take a test knowing that means I get to keep my freedom and I'm not being outright descriminated against
